The purposes of this study were to draw the state of "the manner of suffering" in adolescence how people experience and cope with suffering, and to investigate the process of the manner of suffering. Further, as the view of the manner of suffering, the concept of experiencing distance and mental set were used. First, as a result of the classification made through interviews word-for-word records, five manner of suffering state, "avoidance", "observation", "depression ・perplexity", "conflict ・groping", "confusion" were drawn as the manner of suffering in adolescence. Second, as a result of studying the process of the manner of suffering as case study, the possibility that the manner of suffering changed and were brought to solution after some manner of suffering were experienced was suggested. Finally, for getting knowledge to psychological support from suffering process, the significance of attention for the manner of experiencing was discussed.

This study aimed to describe the activities of the counseling office (non-profit organization)“Kyushudaigaku kokoro to sodachi no sodanshitsu”, and discuss the social significance. This office is established to practice the new clinical psychological community approach, by using the accumulating knowledge from a university. The office is not only providing the services based on clinical psychology for individual profit. Carrying out the training for the professional staff in human service organizations and graduate students of clinical psychology, group approach, psychoeducation, and psychological research, the office continues multiple community approaches. Today, social intersts in clinical psychological approaches are increasing. By noting the office’s establishment and organization processes, and discussing from the community psychological perspective, the clinical psychological services are expected to expand further. When founded, the office provided services that just based on the individual needs and theory. However, as needs from the community were increasing by degrees, various and multifunctional projects are created. And now, this office is providing the practice that organically integrated various projects. In addition, the relationship between the office and the university is changing, as management become stable. We discussed clinical psychological community approach through these practices and management processes.

本研究の目的は中学生の自己肯定感, 他者肯定感と周囲からのソーシャルサポートとの関連を検討することであった。ソーシャルサポート内容として, 直接的にストレスには焦点を当てないが結果的に援助的な効果をもたらす共行動的サポートに焦点を当て, サポート源は父親, 母親, 友人, 教師の4者とし, 中学生305名を対象に調査を行った。サポート源とサポート内容の2点から検討した結果 (1) 自他への肯定感の高い中学生の方が両親からのサポート得点が高いこと, (2) 友人からのサポートは自己肯定感に関連していること, (3) 教師からの道具的サポートにおいて, 男子と女子では自己肯定感の高さによってサポート量の知覚に差があること, が明らかになった。全体として両親からのサポートの重要性と, サポート関係の性差が確認された。また教師以外のサポート源において自他への肯定感の高い中学生の方が共行動的サポートの得点が高く, 親子間や友人間での共行動的サポートの有効性が示された。加えて新たに, 父親による間接的なサポートの効果が示唆された。

3年間を通して,以下の一連の研究を行った.(1)一般サンプル(大学生)を対象に,潜在的児童虐待被害の実態およびその心に及ぼす影響を検討した.その結果,多くの潜在化した被害者が存在すること明かとなった.(2)これまでに開発してきた「多重性児童虐待目録」の併存的妥当性を検討した.その結果,理論的に予想される方向の結果が得られ,妥当性が確認された.また「多重型児童虐待目録」を養護施設に措置された被虐待児に面接形式で実施し,臨床的妥当性の探索的検討を行った.本目録が,これらの子どもの体験した虐待経験を概ね測定していることが確認された.(3)F県3市の保育園に在園する幼児について,親による虐待の実態の大規模調査を保育士に実施した.その結果,約1.5%の潜在的被虐待児が存在することが明らかなった.また同時に,1-3歳児用・4-5歳児用の「幼児用児童虐待症状尺度」を開発した.(4)保育士の被虐待児の早期発見と対応に伴う問題点に関する質問紙調査を行い,その結果を質的に分析した.この結果をとおして,潜在化する被虐待児の早期発見と対応のための対策を考案する上で,今後の研究の手がかりを得た.(5)保育士による園内での児童虐待の実態を,大学生の回想報告の調査を行うことで明らかにした.(6)大規模な精神科医療機関に通院する患者における潜在的児童虐待被害の実態を調査した.(7)虐待通報が十分に行われていない理由として考えられる「虐待・しつけの認知」に関するズレを,13の職種の人たち(児童相談所職員,医師,検察官,保育士,教師,その他の職種,主婦,大学生など)について調査し,比較検討した.その結果,児童相談所の児童虐待に専門性をもつ人たちは,一般人(主婦,他の職種,大学生)よりも,虐待的行為をより非虐待的に見なしていることが明らかとなった.また他の職種の人の評定値は,これら2群の間にくることがわかった.
