We report the visualization and quantification of PGE2 secreted by epithelial cells. A single calcium spike causes a cell to secrete 0.25 fmol PGE2, or 150 million PGE2, which activates PKA in 1000 neighboring cells. https://t.co/jOaX6cM9VZ

An excellent review paper on lipid modification of proteins from Mizushima Lab! I remember we fused CAAX box to a lot of proteins hoping to make them activated long time ago.
A bright and tightly regulated light-inducible transcription system by Itaru Imayoshi Lab. The ON/OFF rate of the new eGAV system was improved by more than 10-fold in comparison with the former hGAVPO system more than 10 folds. Congratulations!
