The purpose of this paper is to show a method of the objective and quantitative measurement of the human laughter by electromyography (EMG). There are two existing clues in catching the human smile and laughter: smiling expression (face) and laughing voice (throat). Both of these are not available in terms of detecting a spontaneous laughter, because human beings can express a smile and a laugh selectively or consciously without feeling funniness. We have developed "DLMS" (Diaphragmatic Laughter Measuring System) in order to measure the spontaneous laughter. This system is composed of an electromyograph and a personal computer, which make it possible to measure the myoelectricity of the human belly muscles moved in accordance with the one's spontaneous laughter breaking out. In this paper, it is proposed that "DLMS" has some advantages in measuring spontaneous human laughter with funniness which can contribute to the human health and well-being.

抗カルシトニン遺伝子関連ペプチドモノクローナル抗体薬であるガルカネズマブは,プラセボ対照無作為化二重盲検比較試験(RCT)で有効性と安全性が認められ,米国食品医薬品局で反復性群発頭痛の予防薬として承認されている。また,翼口蓋神経節刺激療法は,慢性群発頭痛の急性期治療としてRCTで有効性と安全性が確認されている。本論では,これらの治療法の作用機序,臨床試験での結果,臨床での使用方法,本邦における見通しについて概説する。
