The container crane of the harbor received the enormous damage in the Hanshin Awaji great earthquake disaster. After that, the container crane with seismic vibration isolation system has been developed and operated in practical use. We proposed the rocking type of vibration isolation sysem (RVIS) for the container crane instead of the horizontal type of vibration isolation system that is used in bridges and building. It was found that the damping factor of RVIS mechanism has the particular values for the different natural vibration modes. In this paper, we propose the application of a semiactive control system to the RVIS mechanism to improve the isolation performance and operation efficiency. The Kalman filter in used to estimate the system state values. The results of the isolation controlled by the semiactive system are better seismic isolation in performance than the passive RVIS. And we show that the semi-active RVIS can be used in the operation of the container crane.

本研究では,システムの応答を積極的に評価し,制御入力を決める「応答評価器」を提案し,減衰係数可変型のオイルダンパを有するセミアクティブ免震建物に適用した.システムの応答である建物最上階の絶対加速度と免震層変位を入力とし,オイルダンパの減衰係数を決める応答評価器を階層型ニューラルネットワークを用いて構成した.応答評価器の性能を決めるニューラルネットワークのパラメータ調整には,遺伝的アルゴリズムを使用した.種々の地震動入力に対してシミュレーションを行い,減衰係数をhardまたはsoftで一定とした場合に比べて,トレードオフの関係にある絶対加速度と免震層変位をhardとsoftの時の応答の中間値に抑えることができ,応答評価器の有効性が検証された.

This paper develops an approach for the control of the motion of a multiple-link manipulator possessing unactuated joints. A three-rigid-link arm with its shoulder joint actuated and two elbow joints unactuated is modeled as a nonlinear Affine system. The system is a case of second-order nonholonomy since the constraints at the passive joints contain terms of accelerations. In the proposed method to solve the problem of optimal positioning the control input is expressed as a general function of a Fourier basis parameter acquired by using the Ritz method; then this parameter is optimized through the application of the Newton method. Numerical simulations were carried out and tests with an experimental setting demonstrate the effectiveness of the approach.

A 56-year-old woman was found to have a solitary mass shadow on chest radiograph in a health examination. Transbronchial examination on two occasions did not yield any diagnostic findings. Both the high level of CA19-9 and the increasingly large shadow were suspected to be indicative of lung cancer, so we performed left lower lobectomy. The pathological examination of the resected lung revealed a granulomatous lesion without malignant findings. A few colonies grew on a liquid medium, and were identified as Mycobacterium avium by PCR. After operation, the increased CA19-9 leval normalized gradually. There are few reports presenting a solitary pulmonary mass shadow and high CA19-9 level due to nontuberculous mycobacterial disease.

症例は51歳男性で1983年6月23日左肺癌にて左上葉切除術およびリンパ節郭清が施行された. 組織学的には高分化型腺癌でpT2NOMO, stageIの診断であった. その後肺再発にて, 初回手術の3年6ヵ月後に左下葉部分切除術を, その4年8ヵ月後に左のCompletion Pneumonectomyを, さらにその1年9ヵ月後に右肺上葉の部分切除術をと, 3回の肺再発にて初回手術を含め合計4回の肺切除を施行した. 本症例は組織学的所見を考慮し, すべて初回手術時の再発肺癌と診断したが, 再発に対する積極的な再手術により本例のように比較的良好な予後を呈する症例が存在するので, 呼吸機能の評価で可能であれば, 積極的な外科治療が必要と思われる.

This paper addresses the development and the experimental results of an aerial ski robot, which can perform a somersault coupled with twist motion in the air. The robot is composed of three rigid links and two rotational joints driven by DC motors and contains control devices so that complicated motion can be performed in the air. To plan the motion of the robot, Fourier Basis Algorithm (FBA) is applied, which approximates the optimal joint trajectories by the finite terms of the Fourier basis. The joint trajectories to perform a twisting somersault from FBA were inputted to the robot, and the flight experiment was carried out. As the result, the robot achieved one backward somersault with half twist. From this, the validity of the analytical model and the motion planning method was shown.

Bicycle is the unstable system in itself. Although there are two methods of steering a handle and moving a weight in order to make a bicycle stable, it is shown that the former is more effective than the latter. This study deals with modeling and stabilizing control problems of a two-wheel bicycle. In the modeling, wheels side slip is taken into consideration. In the control, an optimal feedback control for stable running control is obtained. An autonomous bicycle robot is further developed. As a result of experiment, it is shown that the bicycle robot is able to run straight and turn stably. The effectiveness of the two-wheel bicycle model and control law are demonstrated.

症例は75歳, 女性.1992年3月21日, 左下葉の肺硬化性血管腫に対して核出術を施行した.術後, 外来で経過観察されていたが, 手術より約4年後の1996年5月, 胸部X線写真上, 左上下肺野に腫瘤陰影が多数認められ, 擦過細胞診で肺硬化性血管腫と診断された.本症例はその臨床経過より再発と考えられた.従来より肺硬化性血管腫の手術術式は核出術が一般的であったが, 核出術施行後の局所再発症例の報告や本症例を考えると, 可能であれば部分切除術以上の術式の選択が必要と思われた.また, まれではあるが再発を念頭においた術後の経過観察が必要と思われた.
