In this paper, we propose a method for recognizing phoneme by using a sequence of color lip images. The mouth images are obtained in series by using the color camera set at the front of the face. First, among the sequence of the images, each object image for processing is detected by using mouth movement information. Next step, in each image, the mouth region is detected by the color information. Then, the four shapes which are outside line of lip, the inside line of lip, the tangue and the center line of lip are extracted by using the change in distribution of gray level. Finally, the recognition of phoneme is carried out by the method based on the subspace method. As the training, the subspace method needs the 20 features extracted from the above four shapes. In this paper, the authors describe the results of the experiments which were performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

本成果報告書は、平成18年度と平成19年度の2ヵ年の研究成果もまとめたものである。内容的には、緊急地震速報と構造物のモニタリングとの連動により付加価値を高め、更なる信頼性の向上と実用性の向上を計るためのシステム開発を行ったものである。主な研究項目として、(1)構造物の耐震モニタリング機能と連動した警報システムの開発、(2)地域の地盤環境を考慮した地震動予測精度の向上、(3)病院における実証試験による有効利用の検討、(4)学校における実証試験による有効利用の検討を行った。(1)については、建物のモニタリングのための常時作動している地震観測(オンライン地震観測)システムを設置し、この地震計による現地地震情報と、緊急地震速報の両方を連動したシステムの開発を行い、東北大学工学研科の人間・環境系建物および宮城県沖地震の際に地震波到来の早い石巻市牡鹿総合支所庁舎(旧鮎川町役場)で実証試験を行った。(2)については、仙台市域の表層地盤構造と深部地盤構造のデータベースの構築を行うとともに、牡鹿総合支所で観測された記録のP波の立ち上がり部の波形からニューラルネットワークを用いて仙台市域の地震動を高精度に予測する方法を検討した。(3)については、東北大学病院における緊急地震速報の利活用について、同病院においてアンケート調査を実施するとともに、ニーズに基づく利活用システムの提案を行った。(4)については、教育モードとして組み入れるべく素材に関する調査を行なうとともに、地域で予測される被害モードを想定した災害シミュレーションを動画の作成と活用法を検討した。学校における緊急地震速報の利活用の啓蒙と教育現場におけるニーズ調査のために宮城県域と首都圏の649校を対象としたアンケート調査を実施した。

我々は,1)連合王国(イギリス),アメリカ合衆国およびカナダの法中毒学研究室の実務の調査・研究および資料の収集;2)法中毒学研究室ガイドラインなどの収集した欧米の参考資料の翻訳;3)各研究室に必須の標準操作手順(Standard Operating Procedures)マニュアルの作成など;を行い,試料の採取・取扱いおよび検査のQuality Control/Quality Assuranceに必須の事項を整理するとともに,薬毒物鑑定を始めとする我が国の法中毒学実務を改革する方策を研究した.結論として,我々は,1)検査研究室は法中毒学研究室ガイドラインに沿った標準操作手順マニュアルの整備,研究室が履行したすべての文書化,分析法および各検査のバリデーション,および容認基準を逸脱した結果に対する修正作業(Corrective Action)を行うこと;2)他機関に検査を委託する研究室は,委託先の研究室の使命/目的が当該研究室のそれと合致しているか確認するとともに,委託する研究室に検査試料を手渡すまでは,検査試料に関する全責任を負うこと;関係政府機関は,薬毒物鑑定(検査)に不可欠の薬毒物標準品の入手を容易にする施策を講じるとともに,薬毒物検査(鑑定)を含む司法/行政解剖に関わる鑑定に対して,その必要経費および鑑定料を相当の代価として,当該名目で支払うこと;4)法医学教室(組織)は教室が縮小傾向にある現在,組織の変革は必至であり,英知を集めて将来を真剣に議論すること:を強く勧告する.

Sympathomimetic amines, amphetamine and methamphetamine, were determined as trifluoroacetyl derivatives by gas chromatography (GC) equipped with a flame-thermionic detector (FTD). Resolution of these derivatives was carried out in a glass column (3 mm×1 m), packed with 1.5% SE-30 on Chromosorb W (AW-DMCS) at 110℃, with helium at a flow rate 50 ml/min. Detection limit of these amines was 0.1 ng. In a case of the autopsy samples from 4.5 month-postmortem suspected the intoxication of methamphetamine, we could detect the amine by FTD-GC, and the content was calculated to be 12.5 μg per g wet weight liver.

As well known, human sensing is useful for our life. But, the development of the human sensing system is not easy, because the shape and the movement of human are complicated and Indistinct; the environment of obtaining image is not always constant and so on. We have developed some methods of identifying individuals using facial image, counting passing people, observing of human behave and so on. In this paper, human sensing and its applications are introduced. In addition, examples of application are shown.
