蚊の誘引捕獲機の開発に当たり誘引剤などの検討を行ったので,それについて報告する。誘引物として,炭酸ガス,熱,匂い,光などを検討した。この検討のための試験は屋内外で行った。さらに,赤外線カメラを用いて蚊の飛翔行動を観察した。 現在,蚊の捕獲機として入手できるのは,わが国ではCDCトラップさらにはアメリカンバイオフィジックス社が出すモスキートマグネット(MM)である。米国においてはMMに類似した商品が数多くが販売されており,それらはyahoo.comやamazon.comなどインターネット販売でも取扱われており,その入手は容易である。 これら捕獲機の主なる蚊の誘引源は炭酸ガスで,CDCトラップではドライアイスを昇華し,その他のトラップのほとんどはプロパンガスを燃焼させている。さらなる誘引源としてオクテノールや熱を併用するもの,音を利用するものもある。我々は使用の安全性を考慮し,炭酸ガスをその液体をボンベから気化させ放出することで蚊を誘引し,微小な光を用いて誘引された蚊を吸引方向へ誘導する方法を採用した。 誘引手段を検討するために室内において,我々は長さ5m,内径10cmの直管を使い,その中央から蚊を放ち,管の両端に設置した誘引物のどちらを蚊が選択するのかを調べた。これには発生飼育させた羽化後7日のメス蚊のヒトスジシマカ,アカイエカ,コガタアカイエカ,チカイエカをそれぞれ用いた。誘引物は紫外線源としてブラックライト,紫外線LEDを,熱源に表面温度41℃の携帯カイロを,匂い物質にオクテノール,L-乳酸を用いた。 その結果,誘引物が無い側よりも有る方へ蚊は移動した。4ヶの紫外線LEDは6Wブラックライトと同等の誘引を示した。オクテノールとL-乳酸の効果にはあまり差が無かった。当機は,フロリダ農工大学が行う捕獲機試験で,MMリバティの4倍の蚊を捕獲した。

Since both acetone and β-hydroxybutyrate are metabolized compounds from acetoacetate, the relationship between the concentrations of acetone and β-hydroxybutyrate in gases released from human skin and blood, respectively, were studied. For collecting gases released from human skin, a home-made collector was used. The collector was a bag-type (inner volume, 70 ml), which was made with sheets of perfluoro (ethylene/propylene). After a finger was pushed into the collector at the center of a shield film made by PARAFILM®, its state was maintained for a period of 3 minutes for collecting human emanated gases from the inserted finger. Then, the acetone concentration in the collector was estimated by gas chromatography. We found a good relationship between them. Its correlation factor was 0.88 (p <0.01). The concentration of acetone can be used as an alternative marker for β-hydroxybutyrate in blood. The present proposed method for estimating the ketone-value is non-invasive, and its sampling procedure is very easy.

Mixtures of Poly (metyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and poly (α-methylstyrene-co-acrilonitrile) (αMSAN) exhibit a LCST type of phase behavior. Dynamic rheological properties of PMMA / αMSAN blends of various compositions were measured at temperatures below, near, and above the phase-separation temperature. The time-temperature superposition was tried to obtain the master curves of G′ and G″ at 160℃. The time-temperature superposition principle failed above a certain temperature due to a phase separation. The "breakdown" temperature is close to the cloud temperature T_c of the blend samples. Comparison of log G′ vs. log G″ relation between the two components and the blends was made. The results show that the slopes of log G′ vs. log G″ plots in the terminal region are dependent on the composition of the blends. The rheological measurements have been found to be useful for characterizing the phase-separation of PMMA / αMSAN blends.

症例は55歳の男性.数年前から近医で両側巨大肺囊胞症と診断され在宅酸素療法が導入されていた.労作時呼吸困難がさらに悪化し手術目的に当院紹介となった.%肺活量38.7%,一秒量470 mlと高度の低肺機能を呈していたが,残存肺血管床は温存されていると考え,経皮的心肺補助装置使用下に2期的に囊胞切除術を行った結果,肺機能は著明に改善した.

アストロサイトは一般的に神経細胞よりも大きく,神経細胞の活動を集団的に調整することが報告されている.アストロサイトは,錐体細胞の発火により活性化され,活性化したアストロサイトは錐体細胞と介在細胞のどちらも活性化させる.しかし,その機能的役割についてはあまり分かっていない.そこで本研究では,小規模神経回路網の発火状態に対するアストロサイトの影響を明らかにするため,複数の錐体細胞と介在細胞からなる小規模神経回路網にアストロサイトを接続した数理モデルを用いて計算機実験を行った.その結果,アストロサイトがなければ非同期的ベータ振動をしていた神経回路網モデルが,アストロサイトからの入力によって同期的なアルファ振動を呈する状態に遷移し,さらに,同期発火する神経細胞群が創発される現象が観察された.

性風俗産業の法的問題性を、憲法・行政法・刑法という個別法分野から分析・検討すると同時に、法を支える感情面や倫理面との関連性を法哲学の見地から研究した。ただ、性風俗に含まれる行為や営業は多様であるから、共同研究者の関心にも沿うような形で専ら売買春と所謂風営法に対象を限定した。フェミニズムに加担するのではなく、かといって実態調査に埋もれるのでもなく、性風俗関連の立法史、特に行政的規制の在り方、そして風営法の憲法論的位置づけなどを検討したことは、性風俗産業への法学的アプローチとして大きな成果を上げた。

Various models for the equivalent circuit of EDLC (Electric Double Layer Capacitor) have been presented so far. The multi-stage connection of RC circuit is a representative model to simulate the EDLC's charge-discharge characteristic. However, since high energy density type EDLC for electric power storage has the electrostatic capacity of thousands F, the phenomenon of being almost uninfluential for the case of conventional capacitor appears in an actual measurement notably. To overcome this difficulty, we develop an equivalent circuit model using a nonlinear model that considers the voltage dependency of the electrostatic capacity in this paper. After various simulations and comparison with experimental results, we confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed model.
