The goal of this trial-based investigation was to understand how student perceptions of help-seeking changed as a result of WRAP training targeting college students. The methodology consisted of having participants take an anonymous self-administered questionnaire based on the Likert system using the Help-seeking Preference Scale before and after the WRAP training. The participants were also given a questionnaire asking them in what ways they thought the WRAP training would be useful to them, with their written answers being analyzed. As a result, it was observed that many of the subjects had a desire for help. Furthermore, it was suggested that by sharing their "Wellness Toolbox" and "Daily Maintenance Plan" with others, their trust in the help and advice of others had become stronger. Furthermore, the results of this investigation indicated that having college students go through WRAP training was effective in helping them solve their problems, making them conscious of their own mental and physical states, and giving them the skills necessary to regulate these states.

This research clarifies the problems of present-day teacher training courses by comparing them with a past teacher training courses. The contents of the curriculum for conquering the problems are also proposed. Postwar primary teacher training courses have changed a great deal after World War II. In the previous Normal School in 1949, students were given the knowledge and skills required in the field of elementary school. On the other hand, in primary teacher training courses after World War II, students started studying pedagogy and liberal arts. It is necessary to examine teacher training courses of the new era, which have efficient combined the best of both types of teacher training courses. To ensure that students gain practical teaching skills in universities in particular, universities should make clear the knowledge and skills that should be taught clearly. This paper showed the knowledge and skills required in the field of elementary school. The knowledge and skills required in the field of elementary school were divided into the following four categories: "technology of a lesson," "class management" and "correspondence to a child," and "others." In teacher training colleges, it is becoming important to consider curriculums that enable students to gain "practical teaching skills." This research was able to show the directivity for an improvement of the contents of teacher training curriculum.

デンマークに特徴的な余暇活動は、神学者・歴史家のグルントヴィに率いられた19世紀の民衆運動と農民教育を源流とし、現在は、立ち止まりや学び直しの機会を提供すると同時に、個々人を地域に結びつけ市民として生かす戦略の役割を果たしている。本稿では、余暇活動の実践にユニークな役割を果たしてきた「人生の学校」とも呼ばれるフォルケホイスコーレ、コーディネーターであるペダゴウを養成する生活指導教員養成大学に関する現地調査をとおして、余暇とライフスタイルの可能性について考察を深める。

この4年間、両研究者は前回科研費の調査方法を改善し、毎年の9月に一週間ほど、上海師範大学・外国語学院の英語学部にて、英語師範専攻の学生を中心に、入学から卒業まで、現地の縦断調査(TOEFL模試、教室内でのエスノグラフィカル・スタディー、学生と教員にインタビユー、学部長らとの会談等)を4回行った。また、最後の2年間は、学生の小・中・高校での実習現場も見学し、教員らとの懇談も実施した。最も印象的のは、見学した授業は全部英語で行い、教科書も系統的てした。調査結果は、二つの共著研究論文(立命館大学言語教育情報研究科に第1号と第2号)と一つの単著論文(京都文教大学人間学研究第14号)に掲載された。

本研究の目的は、中東・アラブ世界に発した「先発グローバリズム」を支えている人的ネットワークの現状を解明することにあった。エジプト/スーダン、シリア/レバノン、モロッコという3地域をそれぞれハブとする各地に広がるネットワークの様態をフィールドワークによって明らかにし、人・モノ・情報の移動における人々のコミュニケーションのあり方、生きるスタイルの特徴を解明した。その人的ネットワークの析出は、現在展開する近代西洋発のグローバリズムの弊害をも含めた特徴を照射する結果となった。

大規模被害への損害賠償について、アメリカの大規模不法行為と証券詐欺の事例を参考にして、これらの事例の現況と問題点を検討し、わが国へ示唆するものを考察した。多くの大規模不法行為および証券詐欺の訴えはクラス・アクションによる。そこで、アメリカにおけるクラス・アクションの現況を踏まえ、コモン・ローと大陸法体系をもつカナダでの状況と比較しながら、クラス・アクションでの損害賠償の妥当性を中心に検討した。

「ターム・プレミアム」に関するパズルを解くことを目的に研究を進めた。日本経済の構造変化を考慮した上で、構造VARを用いて日本経済のマクロショックを識別した。次に、長短金利差と将来の経済成長率との関係が、金融政策に起因する情報と他の要因に起因する情報に関連するか調べた。さらに構造VARを用いて識別したマクロショックがターム・プレミアムを説明出来るかどうか検証した。結果、日本経済の構造変化によってターム・プレミアムへのマクロショックの説明力が変化していた可能性が示唆された。

1990年代から大規模不法行為クラスアクションの乱用として、不公平な和解と代理人の高額な報酬が指摘されてきた。このために、連邦議会は2005年にクラスアクション公正法を通過させ、当事者間の州籍相違要件緩和と訴額要件を規定して、連邦裁判所の州籍相違管轄権を拡大した。また、公正法が目指したクーポンの類による和解への規制は、かような和解を行うに際し連邦裁判所に公正な審尋を要求することになった。クラスアクションの現状を是正しようとした結果、管轄権の拡大と和解への精緻な審査を要求し、連邦裁判所へより多くのクラスアクション処理の負担を招くことになったわけである。
