2 0 0 0 会話分析を中心とした社会的インターラクションの研究
社会過程は、言語を中心にした相互行為的なコミュニケーションの場で、織りなされる関係の維持・更新の過程として記述されうる。その原型は、見る・見られる関係で、発話が交わされる、対面的なインターラクションにある。そこでは表象的な指示行為、措定される言及世界への関与、文脈前提を顧慮した言及世界の読みが重要な注目点となり、それらの諸類型を形式的に一般化することは、特殊の記述にとっても重要である。言語行為論、認知科学、相互行為理論、人類学の一部で、この基礎的作業は、開始されたばかりで、より精力的、かつ緻密な分析が求められている。この作業目的にそって、京都大学人文科学研究所で、代表責任者(谷)は、「コミュニケーションの自然誌」と言う共同研究を行ってきたが、補助申請は、この一貫としてなされた。二年間、多様な場面での会話状況資料の収集と分析が行われた。収集資料の一部は、本報告書に示されているが、ちかく資料集としてまとめる予定。分析の成果としては、1)言及世界への関与と会話の組織化に関する面で、従来注目されていたシーケンス・コントロールと言った面とは別に、あらたな関与形式の諸類型(対照形成、メンタル・スペースの変換などなど)が、摘出された(串田)。これらの視点は、今後、協調と支配の隠された側面を見いだす際に有効なものとなろう。2)会話に於て生起する笑いを、関与主体の読みの状態への関数として理解し、その機能を追求した。言及世界措定の相互的一致を作業前提のもとで、読みにおいて措定される文脈前提が、補追される情報を契機に、上位の階型に移行するときの自己言及として捉えた。それは、相互了解・齟齬・欺瞞という、コミュニケーション上の問題と密接に係わった、パン・ヒューマンな能力のひとつとみなしうることを示した(谷)。

今日の医療では,意思決定への患者の参加を促進することが重要な目標とされているが,これを実現することの困難もつとに指摘されている.実際の診療でどのように意思決定がなされているのかを詳細に調べることが重要である.本稿では,診療場面で医師が治療法を勧めるときに用いる非明示的な発話形式の働きを会話分析の視点から分析する.非明示的勧めは,明示的な勧めとは異なり直ちに意思決定を行うことを患者に要求しない.この性質ゆえ,それは医師が複合的勧めを産出したり,意思決定に慎重にアプローチしたりするときにしばしば用いられる.後者の用法では,患者が勧めに対する自分のスタンスを非公式に提示することを可能にし,勧めをめぐる非公式な交渉の機会を作り出すことで,意思決定への患者参加の可能性が拡大されている.非明示的勧めを用いた意思決定は,「共有された意思決定」の理念的モデルが描く意思決定とは距離があるが,日常的診療の中で意思決定への患者参加を促進する1つのやり方になっている.

The aim of this paper is to examine Erving Goffman's basic view of "context" in his analysis of face-to-face interaction. The arguments are as follows.(l)According to Goffman, people in "social situation" take up "alignments"each other, which constitute various modes of access to them. Here is his basic view of "context", that is, modes of mutual alignments.(2)In the case of "encounters", mutual alignments are basically taken up in accordance with officially accredited "frames." An official frame has four chief functions in this respect ; l.The exclusive function or the function as a "rule of irrelevance." 2. The function as a "schema of expression and interpretation." 3. The transformative function or the function as a "transformation rule." 4. The organization of "involvement."(3)The basic modes of mutual alignments in accordance with official frames can be changed and differentiated in at least four ways ; a)Allocation of involvement in relation to multiple channels of an encounter. b) "Downkeying" and "upkeying." c) "Fabrication. " d) "Flooding out" in relation to "interation tension."(4)The relationship between an encounter and the social structure can be considered as follows. First, the official frame determines which social-structural factors are officially qualified to guide the encounter. Second, officially excluded social-structural factors "typically" influence the modes of involvement of participants. Hence, social-structural factors influence the stability and vulnerability of an official frame. Here is one of the links between local contexts of interaction and the social structure.

When a telling is properly initiated in talk-in-interaction, recipients are expected to align with the telling by withholding their utterances. As previous studies have noted, however, recipients actually produce a variety of utterances in mid-telling. Focusing on a previously undescribed class of such utterances, this paper describes how they are used to facilitate progress of telling. Starting with basic recipients' responses used to align with telling, I describe three recipient's methods for facilitating progress of telling: sustaining, prompting and promoting continuation. I also show that these methods are used so as to maximize the possibility of teller's self-continuation. In conclusion, I argue that in facilitating a telling, recipients' orientation to progressivity of the telling is stronger than their orientation to entitlement of the teller, and the latter is relaxed step by step until continuation is achieved.
1 0 0 0 OA 会話におけるメタファー使用の動的・協働構築的プロセスに関する研究
本研究課題は、会話におけるメタファー使用に関して、以下の三点の研究成果を得た。第一に、会話分析の立場から、会話でのメタファーの出現位置に注目し、メタファーが会話の相互行為のなかで、相手の語りの理解を示す資源として用いられることを明らかにした。第二に、同じく会話分析の立場から、しばしばメタファーと共起する「こう」が、話し手の発話に対する聞き手の理解や反応を方向づけるという相互行為上の働きを持つことを明らかにした。第三に、認知メタファー理論の立場から、会話の中でメタファーが動的に展開する様を観察し、会話に現れる非日常的で創造的なメタファー表現を既存の概念メタファーと結びつける方法を具体的に示した。
