愛知県は,国土交通省が発表する都道府県別土砂災害発生状況で見ると,平成21年(2009)から平成30年(2018)の過去10年間における平均順位は,47都道府県中45位である。土砂災害履歴の比較的多い中部地方において,目立って発生状況の少ない県である。 本稿は,歴史資料(古文書,愛知県史,市町村誌等)調査,ヒアリング調査,現地調査を基に,主に江戸時代以降に愛知県で発生した,歴史に記録され,語り継がれる土砂災害の事例を調査した結果を整理したものである。

細菌プロテアーゼとして, 新たな構造と機能が見い出された歯周病の主要な原因菌 Porphyromonas gingivalis のトリプシン様システインプロテアーゼ gingipains を紹介する。Gingipains は3種の遺伝子 (rgpA, rgpB, Kgp) から産生される variants であり, そのペプチド結合切断特異性からは Arg-Xaa を切断する gingipains R (rgpAとrgpB由来) とLys-Xaaを切断する gingipain K (kgp 由来) に分類される。HRgpAとKgpは触媒ドメインと赤血球凝集/接着活性ドメインとの複合体である。他に, gingipains Rには触媒ドメインのみの型とこれに多糖体が結合した膜型がある。Gingipains は P. gingivalis のハウスキーピングだけでなく宿主への感染や宿主防御機構からの回避にも重要な役割を果たす。Gingipains は P. gingivalis の病原性と密接に関連し歯周病の発症・進展に関与しているので, 歯周病予防・治療法開発のターゲットとして有用である。

奈良県は土砂災害の年間発生件数からみると,土砂災害が少ないと認識されがちであるが,夏から秋にかけての台風などによる豪雨を誘因とした大規模な土砂災害が数十年置きに発生している。本稿は,歴史資料(古文書,奈良県史,市町村誌)調査,ヒアリング調査,現地調査を基に,江戸時代以降に奈良県で発生した大規模な土砂災害の事例を調査した結果を整理したものである。 古くは享保六年(1721)の「三子抜け」をはじめ,明治22年(1889)の「十津川災害」,昭和34年(1959)の伊勢湾台風による「高原の山津波」,そして平成23年(2011)には「紀伊半島大水害」と繰り返し発生している。そしてこれらの誘因は全て降雨であり,地震を誘因とした大規模な土砂災害の記録は今のところ確認されていない。

This is a study of one of H. Pinter's early works, The Collection. His early plays are often called 'Comedy of Menace'(Irving Wardle), but this play is a little bit different from the very early plays like The Room, The Birthday Party, A Slight Ache, and The Dumb Waiter. Pinter's interest seems to have shifted from 'Menace' to 'Relationship'. So the point of this essay should be on the relationship among characters. The last problematic scene of this play must show the way the characters will take to live on together. Usually critics use concepts of oppositions such as 'man/woman' or 'dominant/subservient' to interpret this last scene, or I should say this play, but I don't think these concepts are enough to explain the Stella's enigmatic attitude. In this essay I will try to introduce another concept of oppositions for interpretation and receive Pinter's message through the process of making the meaning of her attitude clear.

In An Essay on the Picturesque: As Compared with the Sublime and the Beautiful; And, on the Use of Studying Pictures, for the Purpose of Improving Real Landscape Uvedale Price claims “the two opposite qualities of roughness, and of sudden variation, joined to that of irregularity” are the most efficient causes of the picturesque landscape. Then he highlights intricacy, wildness, or partial concealment also as key elements, while he says the standard of the picturesque landscape is the art of painting. Here is a strained relationship between those dynamic elements in the scenery and the static and stereotyped expression of picture art. This inconsistency, I contend, is the basis of the picturesque landscape. In An Essay Price describes “hollow lanes and bye roads” under old pollarded trees as a typical picturesque landscape. This is a joint work of nature and humans living in it. This description appears before the definition of the word “picturesque” and is repeated several times in An Essay. This demonstrates its importance for him. In his description of these “hollow lanes” or a ruined building overgrown with weeds Price emphasizes the significance of “accidents and neglect” or “time and accidents” which complete the ideal landscape for him. In these wild scenes he finds energy, or dynamism, of the vegetations, which leads to even a germination of an ecological view on natural power. In the second book of the second edition he tries to convince the reader how the cottage buildings of villagers and the villages themselves have been established for a longer period of “time and accidents.” Price envisions the landscapes of nature and those of human community as being formed through time and space. In the changing period of the 1790s Price was searching a way to describe the surrounding circumstances outside of the conventions.

真空紫外光を用いて有機金属化合物の金属の内穀電子を励起すると,金属イオンが選択的に極めて効率よく生成する。本研究では,このような選択的かつ高効率な金属イオン生成の最適条件を求め,真空紫外光を用いた半導体製造プロセスにおける効率の高い化学気相蒸着(CVD)の方法を開発することを目的とする。2年間の期間で次のような研究を行なった。1。本研究を行なうためには,高強度高収束性の単色真空紫外光源が必要であり,それには分光器に光を導く前置光学系が重要である。そのために新たに非ガウス光学に基づく収差補正型の高反射ミラ-システムを設計製作し,分子科学研究所極端紫外光実験施設のBL3Bビ-ムラインのTEPSICOーII装置に装着した。新たに製作した高反射ミラ-システムは従来のものに比べて飛躍的に光強度が増大し,研究効率が著しく向上した。2,種々の有機金属化合物において,最も外のd内殻イオン化後には金属イオンとモノメチル金属イオンが生成し,解離パタ-ンは混成軌道を用いて説明できることが示された。3,中心金属の深い内殻を励起するとカスケ-ドオ-ジェが起こり多価イオンが生成し,リガンドの内殻を励起するとKVレオ-ジェが起こり2価イオンが生成するというような励起サイトに依在した解離過程が観測された。4,三メチルアルミニウムのAl:2P内殻付近においてアルミニウムイオンを含むイオン対の生成が増大することが見いだされた。
