本研究では、(1)自発性瞬目の出現数の頚部前屈保持に伴う変化の運動経験による差異、(2)頚部前屈保持を伴う眼球運動反応トレーニング後の、眼球運動反応時間および自発性瞬目数の頚部前屈保持による変化、および(3)自発性瞬目及び随意性瞬目時の運動関連脳電位への頚部前屈保持による影響について検討した。検討の結果、以下のような知見を得た。(1)頚部前屈保持を伴う自発性瞬目数の減少は、高速ボール追従群でのみみられた。(2)頚部前屈を伴う眼球運動反応トレーニングを行うと、反応時間短縮効果がみられるようになったが、自発性瞬目数の減少効果はみられなかった。(3)随意性瞬目時のみ運動関連脳電位がみられ、その電位の立ち上がり先行時間は頚部前屈を保持すると短くなり、その電位のピークは大きくなった。

This study was the examination of the sustained effects of the autonomic nerve response due to the difference in the posture of the supine and the standing after the acupuncture method of the "skin / subcutaneous tissue, exhalation phase, sitting position". The subjects were 11 healthy male college students without medication and smoking habits (age 19.6 ± 1.0 years old, height 172.1 ± 4.1 cm, body weight 70.4 ± 4.3 kg). Cardiac autonomic nerve function was measured by measuring electrocardiogram and analyzing by spectral analysis of heart rate variability. In the evaluation by spectral analysis, the high frequency component HF (0.15 - 0.40 Hz) and the low frequency component LF (0.04 - 0.15 Hz) were measured, and HF component was used as a cardiac parasympathetic function and LF / HF component was used as an index of cardiac sympathetic function. HR and HF components showed no significant change at standing posture with passage of time after the acupuncture stimulation. However, HR and HF components showed significant change at supine posture with passage of time after the acupuncture stimulation, and enhanced the cardiac parasympathetic function. Furthermore, significant increase of LF / HF component was observed between 5 minutes and 25 minutes after the stimulation in the supine position. From these results, it was obvious that the sustained effects of acupuncture stimulation in the enhancement of cardiac parasympathetic function was caused by supine posture. Moreover, it was suggested that this acupuncture method may be enhance both cardiac parasympathetic and sympathetic nerves.

In archery, highly reproducible release is required during shooting to get a good score.Shooting in archery consists of eight different techniques. The last phase of these techniques is follow-through, which all eight have in common. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the muscle activity at follow-through and performance. In ten healthy archery club members, we recorded the muscle activity of six regions from both sides of M.deltoideus (pars acromialis), M. trapezius (pars ascendens), M. trapezius (pars descendens) by means of electromyogram. Integrated electromyograms of 1 second each at the aiming phase and the follow-through phase were calculated in order to evaluate this technique. The results obtained in this study were: 1) The skilled archers sustained high level (above 80%) muscle activity in the follow-through phase. 2) A significant correlation (r=0.791 r<0.05) was observed between the muscle activity on the draw side and the best score in a single round.3) The performance in archery was effected by the continuation of muscle activity in the shoulders, the neck and the back at follow-through. The continuation of muscle activity in the draw side seemed to be especially significant for archery performance.

This study aimed to clarify the effects of carbohydrate mouth rinse on exercise performance. We examined the effect of mouth rinse on fatigability. Thirty healthy male college students completed three trials with non mouth rinse (CON), mouth rinse intervention of 6% glucose (GMR), and artificial sweetener (PLA). Handgrip exercise was performed as a fatigue task. The subjects performed a 10-seconds maximal voluntary contraction (MVC) followed by a 40% MVC rhythmic grasping movement for 14 per minutes, followed by a 4-seconds rest. This set of exercises was performed for a total of ten sets. Mouth rinse was performed from the 5th set to the 10th set. The subjects were divided into three groups: L, M, and S, according to the degree of decrease in MVC due to fatigue in CON. The effect was evaluated using the rate of change in MVC after the mouth rinse. The evaluation was performed for each trail and group. In the L group, mouth rinse significantly improved the rate of change of MVC compared with the other trials (GMR vs. CON: P = 0.002; PLA vs. CON: P = 0.042). A significant trend was observed in the M (GMR vs. CON: P = 0.062), but not in the S. In conclusion, the effects of mouth rinse differed depending on fatigability in isometric hand grip performance, with mouth rinse inhibiting the decrease of motor fatigue. In addition, it was suggested that the sweetness of carbohydrates may have an effect on mouth rinse.

アーチェリーは視覚を用いて的を狙うスボーツであるため,視覚障害者が参加することが困難である.著者のうち2名は,先に赤外線センサーを用いて的の方向を聴覚情報に変換する装置を開発している[1].本稿では,新たに磁気方位センサーを用いて的方向の視覚情報を音の高低の聴覚情報に変換する視覚障害者のためのアーチェリー補助システムの概要について述べる.アイマスクを着用した試射結果より,本システムの有効性を示すと共に、改良すべき箇所、ならびに問題点を明らかにする.
