In this research, it proposes the development of High-Tc Superconducting Levitation flywheel. The permanent magnet magnetized in the thickness direction where the sectorial magnetic material plate is adsorbed creates the multipole field outside of the magnet. The levitation body achieved the stable rotation without the control by giving the driving force from the axial direction to the multipole field of the levitation body, and thus it succeeded in riding past the resonance. And, the voltage correction that considered the counter-electromotive force and impedance was executed so that this system might obtain the stable torque. As a result of measurement of electric power generation at the high-speed rotation region, it was confirmed that this system had about 84% conversion efficiencies. The result of the experiment and the theoretical value of the magnetic flux density, the torque, the frequency response, and the conversion efficiency of this system were compared. As a result, because measurements and the analytic value were corresponding well, it was confirmed that this analysis was useful.

2009年のスマトラ島沖地震にて被災したインドネシア西スマトラ州の州都パダンにおいて、被災直後から継続的に実施してきた歴史地区文化遺産復興に資する調査研究を、インドネシア側行政機関及び研究者と協力して行った。先行研究成果を踏まえつつ、現地調査・資料収集を通じて、パダン市の市街地構造の変遷と歴史的建造物の特徴及び分布を明らかにし、群として保存すべき文化遺産の価値と現状・課題について整理した。同時に、住民への聞き取り調査から社会組織や生活慣習、震災後の変化等をまとめ、ワークショップ開催により、復興に向けた意見交換を行った。以上をもとに、歴史地区の保存と開発の方向性を提言としてまとめることができた。

Owing to the advancement of globalization, many countries' population has changed. Language minority students (LM3) represent a large and growing school age population in the United States, and they fail disproportionately when compared to white students. The improvement of these students' academic achievement is the key concept under the new federal education law. This paper analyses the education for LMS through its illustration in San Francisco Unified School District under the implementation and impact of The Federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB). This law is a reorganization of the 1965 Elementary and Secondary Education Act, and designed to help educating LM3 in schools all over the United States. The redesign of the 1965 Act had many issues to deal with. They related to education autonomy of the states, local school districts j and individual students and parents. This paper examines how the school district and schools attempt to overcome these issues and address to close the achievement gap for students with limited English proficiency under NCLB, by studying a case of the practice of Language and Literacy Assessment Rubric (LALAR) in San Francisco Unified School District in California.

1995年頃に日本に侵入したオオミノガに特異的に寄生するオオミノガヤドリバエは日本各地でオオミノガをほとんど確認できないほどに個体群を絶滅状態に追い込んだ。高知県においてもオオミノガはかつてほど見られなくなったが,絶滅にまでは至らないまま今日に至っている。オオミノガヤドリバエの侵入から15 年経過した段階で,高知県におけるオオミノガの生息状況を10年前の研究と比較し,オオミノガが絶滅しない要因を検討した。

In this paper, separation of laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) due to PAHs and incandescence (LII) due to soot by time-resolved measurement was demonstrated for the propane diffusion flame. Laser-induced fluorescence method for the measurement of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in diffusion flame was developed. A KrF excimer laser was used for excite the PAHs. Strong laser-induced incandescence due to soot was appeared with fluorescence signal due to PAHs. In order to separate the signals into LII and the PAHs-LIF detected from diffusion flame, time-resolved measurement was carried out. A pico-second gate CCD camera with a image intensifier was used taking a time-resolved image. From the two different images, which were taken at different time-delay, PAHs-LIF and LII were obtained. Intensity distributions of PAHs-LIF and LII were measured on the flame axis. Overlap region of the LIF and LII was observed around the onset position of the yellow flame. In this region, LIF intensity decreased and LII intensity increased along the flow direction. It seemed that this region was transition region from the PAHs to soot and was attributed the presence of soot precursor.
