More universities are introducing Problem Based Learning, PBL in Japan to activate the learning environment. The Facility Management of university campus facilities is necessary to perform PBL effectively. This paper focuses on the impact of learning environment that PBL brings about. In this study, the usage situations of the group work in the library at Georgia Institute of Technology is analyzed, and an ideal provision of learning space that students can learn more effectively in future is considered.
