This paper is concerned with the stability analysis of the stochastic infectious model with time delay. In the vector-borne diseases such as malaria and Japanese encephalitis, there exists time delay caused by an incubation period in the virus development in the vectors on the transmission of disease. Moreover, environmental change and individual difference cause some kinds of random fluctuations in the infection, recovery rates, etc. Hence, we propose the stochastic infectious model with time delay. The equilibrium solution with zero infected individuals is called the disease-free steady state. Since the stability of the disease-free steady state is related to whether or not the infectious disease spreads, we analyze stability of the disease-free steady state using the stochastic Lyapunov function. Moreover, we study the influence of the random noise on the stability based on the calculation of the Lyapunov exponent, and show results of numerical simulations.

社会現象をモデル化し,シミュレーションを通じて現象を理解・分析する手法としてマルチエージェント・アプローチが注目されている.本稿では,組織活動におけるインセンティブの効果と役割を明らかにすることを目的としたマルチエージェント・シミュレーションについて報告する.具体的には,インセンティブの構成モデルを提案し,チームプレイを対象としたシミュレーションを行い,エージェントの価値観の違いにより作業効率に大きな差が出ることを確認した.

This paper aims to propose a risk assessment method on countermeasure against infectious disease with high fatality rate using social simulation. We constructed a novel model which are able to visualize social vulnerability against outbreak of infectious disease such as smallpox. In this model, disease state transition of smallpox, infection process, social structure, human activity, social countermeasure, simulation condition that include parameters, and simulation results are described. We evaluate the social protection policies by an agent-based model using Spot Oriented Agent Role Simulator (SOARS). This model is able to visualize the risk of social vulnerability against smallpox and social vulnerability is different among generations.

This paper proposes a remote control method for a linear system with pointwise-in-time state and/or control constraints. Our technique guarantees achievement of tracking performance and constraint fulfillment under simultaneous occurrence of some phenomena over communication links, such as arbitrary and unforeseeable delays and lots of packet losses. Our ideas are to feedback information about not a state but a state-existing area and to share maximal output admissible sets with reference governor and switching control strategy that consist of the proposed technique. Through numerical and experimental examples, we demonstrate effectiveness of the proposed method. <br>

In this paper, we propose automatic hair detection and tracking system at video-rate by using Kinect to capture color and depth information. Our system has the following three ideas simultaneously: 1) Simple and high-speed system is built by the general technique using distance information. 2) Using a 6D feature vector to describe both the 3D color feature and 3D geometric feature of each pixel uniformly. Classifying pixels in images into foreground (e.g. hair) and background with K-means clustering algorithm. 3) Automatic learning and updating the cluster centers of foreground and background before and during hair tracking. This ability makes our system can track hairs robustly, which does not depend on its hair color and style, and even before a background with similar color of hair. Our system becomes a robust head tracking system if the face and hair are set as foreground.

In pervious psychological studies, human visual distance perception has been investigated minutely. However, the problem of human visual and tactual distance perception is still in controversy. In this study, human visual and tactual characteristics of spatial distance perception are measured. The results of experiment suggest that the human perceptive distance is larger than the actual distance if with tactile information, while the human perceptive distance is smaller than the actual distance if without tactile information. In order to analyze the results of experiment quantitatively, we propose a model of visual and tactual distance perception, while can explain the experimental results in a satisfactory manner.
