It has been known that a state equation of a blushless DC motor is a nonlinear one. Recently, new linear state equation and a position and velocity sensorless control system with the full-order observer based on the equation has been proposed. But the pole assignment of the observer has not been presented clearly. In this paper, we propose an adaptive sliding observer for this linear state equation and present clearly the pole assignment of the sliding observer for robust flux estimation with estimated velocity error. The simulation shows that the proposed system is very useful.

The equation of brushless dc motors is nonlinear, to which linear control theories are difficult to apply. In this paper, firstly, a disturbance observer to estimate rotor positions is proposed. By assuming the non-linear term of the e. m. f. as a kind of disturbance, the model of the brushless dc motors becomes a linear one so that the disturbance observer can be applied. Secondly, a velocity estimator using the e. m. f. estimated by the disturbance observer is proposed. The observer and estimator are 2nd-order systems. Thus they are simple and easy for tuning. Their pole assignments and influences of parameter deviations are also discussed. The experimental results show that the proposed method is valid.

Salient-pole permanent magnet synchronous motors have been widely used in industrial applications for their high efficiency. To control these motors, knowledge of rotor position and velocity are necessary and expensive sensors have been used to detect these signals. Although many sensorless control algorithms have been developed for cylindrical permanent magnet motors, they cannot be applied for salient-pole machines without any approximation because of the complicated mathematical model, and this may lead to unstable problems. To solve this problem, new extended electromotive force models for synchronous motors have been proposed in this paper. The proposed models have a simple structure integrating position information both in the magnet and in the inductance into one extended electromotive force term. Using these models, no approximation is necessary. Experimental results show that the proposed model and method are valid.

We have proposed a new modeling method of human's behavior based on the relationship between the change of human's behavior and the situation around human with If-Then-Rules and Hidden Markov Model. In this paper, we study on estimation method of next human's behavior based on the proposed model to support human's driving behavior.

Hybrid Dynamical Systems (HDS), which contain both discrete symbol and continuous signal, are attracting great attention in the field of system control. In this paper, a new symbol based control strategy for a line following control of a two wheeled vehicle is proposed. The vehicle is supposed to have a low-resolution sensor and actuator. The control requirement, however, is specified so as to keep the vehicle as close as possible to the center of the line. The controllability and observability issues are investigated, and a concrete control policy based on the continuous state estimation is proposed. Some experimental results are shown to demonstrate the usefulness of our idea.

ΔΣ変調にもとづくパルス神経回路(DSM-PNN)とそのハードウエア化について述べる.本手法では,パルス信号としてディジタル信号処理分野において注目を集めているΔΣ変調にもとづく1ビットストリーム信号を採用することにより,コンパクトな回路構成を実現することが可能なパルス神経回路の特徴を生かしつつ,ディジタル信号処理の観点から高い精度の演算が実現可能である.この特徴を生かし,特定のモデルや学習アルゴリズムに特化させることなく,各種1ビットストリーム信号の演算器により,様々なモデルや学習アルゴリズムに対応可能な神経回路を構成する.最後に,様々なハードウエア化の実施例の中から,独立成分分析を行うDSM-PNNについて紹介する.

This paper proposes to paste non-magnetic materials on the rotor surface of a cylindrical brushless DC motor and to use the model including the extended e.m.f. for sensorless control. In the proposed method, the inductance changes depending on the rotor position because of eddy currents, which flow on the non-magnetic material at high frequency. The rotor position can be estimated at standstill and at low speeds. The simulation results show that the proposed method is very useful.

近年になり様々な共通鍵暗号が提案されている.それらの中には,差分攻撃や線形攻撃に対しての証明可能安全性をもつものもある.差分攻撃や線形攻撃が成立する確率の上界値を数学的に求め,これらの攻撃が成立する前に鍵を変更することで,運用上の安全性の向上を図る.しかし,暗号システムを運用する場合,鍵の変更のサイクルは長い方がよい.本論文では,証明可能安全な暗号に対し,更なる安全性の向上を図るため,暗号中のS-Boxを鍵で変更する暗号方式を提案する. S-Boxをユーザが更新することで,従来の暗号解析が困難になる.しかしながら,S-Boxをランダムに変更すると,差分攻撃や線形攻撃に対して脆弱なS-Boxが生成されるおそれがある.ここでは,これらの攻撃に対して耐性のあるS-Boxのスケジューリング法の提案をする.提案するS-Boxは,べき乗演算とアフィン変換とにより構成される.アフィン変換部分をユーザが変更することでS-Boxの変更を行う.アフィン変換の変更を行うため,その構成に転置処理と三角行列を利用する.最後に,提案法の安全性評価と計算コスト評価を行い,従来法に比べわずかな計算コストの増加で,安全な暗号になり得ることを確認した.

The deterministic annealing (DA) method for vector quantization can obtain better representative vectors than the LBG, CL, FSCL and SOFM. But it has two problems. One is that quality of the results is sensitive to the reduction of parameter T which is a temperature in an annealing operation. Another is that learning time is relatively long. Recently, the equidistortion principle has been derived and it is shown effective for vector quantization. In this paper, to solve above problems, a new algoritym named DAEP (Deterministic Annealing method with Equidistortion Principle) is proposed. In the DAEP, the idea of equidistortion principle is introduced into the DA method. In the annealing operation, location of representative vectors are forced to move to the global optimum points using the equidistortion principle. Judging from quality of results and learning time, it is shown that the DAEP can obtain better results than the other methods.

Power factor and torque of synchronous reluctance motors with a slit rotor are studied. In there stators, divided teeth made of powder magnetic core are adopted and windings are improved to get high space factor of stator windings and to shorten coil ends. In there rotors, stainless sheets are inserted among soft magnetic metal sheets with adhesive to strengthen the rotors and rotor structure is improved to enlarge the saliency ratio (<i>L<sub>d</sub></i>/<i>L<sub>q</sub></i>). As the result, the power factor 0.78 and 1.6 times torque at same motor size are attained.

This paper concerns a DC-DC converter control. In DC-DC converters, there exist both continuous components such as inductance, conductance and resistance and discrete ones, IGBT and MOSFET as semiconductor switching elements. Such a system can be regarded as a hybrid dynamical system. Thus, this paper presents a dc-dc control technique based on the model predictive control. Specifically, a case in which the load of the dc-dc converter changes from active to sleep is considered. In the case, a control method which makes the output voltage follow to the reference quickly in transition, and the switching frequency be constant in steady state. In addition, in applying the model predictive control to power electronics circuits, the switching characteristic of the device and the restriction condition for protection are also considered. The effectiveness of the proposed method is illustrated by comparing a conventional method through some simulation results.

本稿では, 小規模回路で実現可能なニューラルネットワークのハードウェア化手法を提案する.回路規模を低減するため, 入出力にパルス信号を用いたパルスニューロンとして配線領域を削減するとともに, 結合係数の乗算およびシグモイド関数演算を確率的に演算することで, 乗算回路とシグモイド関数用メモリを不要とした.入力信号値は, 複数の基準パルス列と入力パルス列間の相対遅延時間が正規分布となるようにコーディングする.提案手法をFPGA上にマッピングして提案を見積もった結果, 回路規模を従来の約1/13に小型化できることが明らかになった.
