The brilliant blue luster of Morpho butterflies is produced by their scale that does not contain a blue pigment. The origin of the coloration can be attributed to an optical effect on a specific nano-structure, which can explain both of the high reflectivity and the mystery that the blue appears from wide angle despite an interference effect. We have successfully reproduced the Morpho-blue by fabricating nano-structure by extracting the principles of the coloration. The reproduced Morpho-type materials are expected to serve to various industrial applications. However, the process to fabricate the nano-structure spends too much time and cost using conventional lithography. To solve this problem, nano-imprint lithography was applied to fabricate the nano-structure. As a result, Morpho-color was replicated successfully in low cost and short time. Its optical properties were estimated by optical measurements, and found to show the basic characteristics of the original Morpho-blue.

1972~2013年の約40年間にわたる浅海定線調査データをもとに,瀬戸内海における栄養塩濃度などの水質や海洋環境の長期変化傾向を明らかにした.水温は温暖化の影響で上昇しており,特に秋季の上昇率が高かった.透明度は,大阪湾を除く瀬戸内海では1990年代以降,大阪湾では2000年以降に上昇した.瀬戸内海の栄養塩濃度は減少傾向であった.DIN濃度は,大阪湾を除く瀬戸内海では1970年代に急激に低下した後,2000年代以降に再び低下が見られた.大阪湾では,1970年代の低下は見られなかったが,1990年以降に大幅な低下が見られた.DIP 濃度は,1970年代に高かったが1980年頃に低下し,大阪湾を除く瀬戸内海ではその後は横ばい,大阪湾の表層ではその後も低下を続けた.栄養塩濃度の低下については,陸域負荷削減が大きく影響しているが,底泥や外海からの供給量低下や近年の全天日射量の増加も栄養塩濃度の低下に影響を及ぼしていると考えられた.

Conspicuous metallic blue of Morpho butterflies is well known and attract interest because it is a brilliant luster of natural beings. The blue is produced by their proteins, which are almost transparent without pigment. The origin of the coloration with high reflectivity (>~60%) is then attributed to an interference effect based on a periodic structure. However, the interference contradicts the blue that is maintained in too wide angular range (>±40° from the normal). This mystery has recently been explained with a specific multilayer, which is a fine combination of regular and random structures at nanometer scale. We proved this hypothesis successfully by emulating the 3D structures by deposition of multilayer film on a nano-patterned substrate. Such artificial structural color can be applied to various industries, because it makes colors qualitatively impossible by pigment, and resistant to fading due to chemical change over longtime. Also we developed a high throughput nano-patterning process by use of nano-imprinting method, and succeeded in controlling the optical properties both in angular and wavelength distribution.
本年度は引き続きASEANにおける看護・介護人材の調査を中心に進めた。まず、奥島はマレーシア、ブルネイ、インドネシア、ベトナムで現地調査を実施した。本プロジェクト初のマレーシア・ブルネイの調査では、保健省・看護師協会・大学などを訪問し、政策方針、外国人看護師の受け入れ状況、看護教育、卒業後の進路などについてインタビューを行った。両国はインドネシアと同じマレー語圏だが主に受け入れ国であり、しかし近年は現地看護師のシンガポールや中東への流出にも苦しんでいることがわかった。金子はタイ、カンボジアにおいて現地調査を実施し、医療政策や病院経営などについて調査を進めた。また、インドネシアにも奥島の調査に合流し、地方部(東カリマンタン州)における保健医療の現状を探るため、保健所(地域保健センター)、助産院、看護学校、現地民の自宅介護などについて参与観察・インタビューした。地方部では海外就労の機会は少ないが、結婚・出産・育児などのライフステージに合わせて大学や大学院への進学や、昇進にむけたプロモーション(地方勤務)などを行い、長期的な勤務を続けていくことが可能であることがわかった。永井は金子、および研究協力者の河野あゆみ教授(大阪市立大学看護学部)と、タイにおいて共同調査を実施し、医療政策や看護教育のほか、介護制度の普及と自治体の役割について調査した。なお、同教授には次年度の成果論集にて、主に看護教育面に関する報告・執筆などでも協力を依頼する予定である。さらに日本国内では、石川がEPA看護師や所属機関関係者へのインタビュー、池田は多様な保健医療の在り方と今後の動向について講演を行った。
1 0 0 0 OA 東南アジア医療福祉にみる看護・介護人材送出実態の実証研究:対日EPA問題を中心に
本研究は保健医療人材の国際移動に関する学際共同研究であり、日本・東南アジア間で2008年より開始した経済連携協定(EPA)による外国人看護師・介護福祉士候補の送り出し・受け入れを軸として、送出諸国(インドネシア・ベトナムなど)の保健医療・教育・移住労働を先進モデル国であるフィリピンと比較つつ課題を分析した。送出諸国は、1990年代の中東・英米での受け入れ開放政策や2015年末のASEAN経済統合をうけて人材育成・学歴引き上げを急ぐが、受け入れ諸国との疾病構造や医療・教育制度の相違などから必ずしも即戦力にはならず、ポストコロニアル的紐帯が薄い日本では職場適応・定住化にも困難があるとわかった。
