In this paper the authors investigated the fundamental data which were necessary for estimation of the optimum number of the fixtures in a lavatory of the multipurpose stadium. The sanitary fixture usage of soccer audiences in N-stadium of Gifu Pref. were surveyed actually by means of the electric methods. Then, the following results were obtained. 1) In the case of a lavatory for male, the waiting line generated in the half-break time. But in it for female, because the number of water closets was insufficient, the waiting line existed continually through the game. The length of moving line between the different sanitary fixtures was according to the lavatory layout. 2) The European style water closet for female was sometimes avoided. The occupated period of wash basin for female of soccer audience was longer than the other sports audience, in order to make up before and after games. 3) The ratio of female of audience was important to estimate the number of fixtures in a lavatory of stadium.

In this paper the authors investigated the fundamental data which were necessary for estimation of the optimum number of the fixtures in a lavatory of the single-purpose soccer stadium. The sanitary fixture usage of the audience of a pro-soccer game at a stadium-K were surveyed actually by means of the electric methods. The results are as follows. The number of men was same to female in audience. The waiting line of lavatory during the intermission had been left after the second half of the game had started, therefore some of audience had been disturbed to watch the game. Lack of the sanitary fixture in the female lavatory had caused waiting line during this investigation period. But the occupated period on each fixture was similar to the result of the previous investigation.

本報は,当学会で作成した"給水・給湯設備の計測システム指針"に基づき,男子独身寮における水・湯の使用量の実態調査を行った結果に関する調査研究報告である.約80名を収容する男子寮を対象として,給水4系統(建物全体・洗濯室・厨房および大浴場),給湯1系統(大浴場)の使用状況について,約1週間にわたり連続自動計測を実施している.同様の計測を冬期および夏期に実施し,それらの結果を比較・分析してその傾向を把握した.

成人を対象として,トイレ利用に関する意識調査を実施し,職場のトイレまでの距離に対する考え,トイレでの待ち行動,トイレに対する要望および好ましい便器などのトイレに対する種々の事項を明らかにした.また,同時に実施した15分間隔の生活調査により,トイレ利用に関連する生活行為と排せつ行為の1日の経時変化を示した.そして,これらの結果を用いてトイレ利用を考察し,"基本要因(起床・昼休み・就寝)","時間帯","場所","習慣"および今後考慮すべき質的な内容である"清潔"をトイレ利用の要因として選定した.

快適なシャワ設備の設計用資料を得ることを目的とした,シャワヘッドをハンガに掛けた状態でのシャワ実験と,入浴時の洗体を想定したハンドシャワでの適温・適流量を求めるとともに,その時の浴槽内の適温を探る実験を行った.また,近年の自動ふろがま(風呂釜)の普及にともない出現した追いだきの方式から,強制循環・半強制循環・高温差し湯の三つを選定して種々の条件で運転し,入浴時追いだきの快適条件を探る実験を行った.これら3種類の実験で得られた結果から,適温・適流量および湯温・湯流量の許容変動幅に関する第一段階の設計目標値を提案するとともに,入浴しながら追いだきを行った場合の,現状機器での問題点を明らかにした.

This paper describes the calculation results of the potential quantity of available water resources in each prefecture. At present, there is only the data of the potential quantity of available water resources which is divided into 14 areas in Japan. It is inadequate discussion about the water resources with a viewpoint from prefecture level, so the authors adopt new calculation method. The authors focus on the regional characteristics of potential quantity of available water resources from stochastic method analysis, coefficient of variation and rate of water resources use. Kagawa, Osaka and Saitama have small amount of the potential quantity of available water resources, large coefficient of variation and high rate of water resources use. So the authors estimate that the possibility of water shortage is high in these prefectures.

Many research works were carried out for the estimation of the number of fixtures. However, the method on t:he layout of the sanitary fixtures have not been clear theoretically. The results of the investigations for 6 buildings have shown that the frequency of usage of the sanitary fixtures were changed by the types of the layout. The results are shown as follows ; 1. There are many cases that the water closet and urinals are installed in the depth direction from the entrance. And the fixtures being near the entrance are generally used more than the others. 2. There are few difference of the frequency of usage for the fixtures being same distance from the entrance. 3. The case of the wash basin are installed in the same plane with the water closet and urinals, the wash basin being near those fixtures are used more than the others. 4. The case of the wash basin are installed in the rectangular or counter position of the water closet and urinals, there are a few difference of the frequency of usage, and the fixtures being near the exit are used some more than the others. Finally the authors discussed that those results infulenced for not only the layout of the fixtures but also planning of piping and maintenance.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between spatial organization and means of transportation of large commercial buildings in the metropolitan suburbs. Firstly, we compared the commercial characteristic with means of transportation in Tokyo Metropolitan Area, using person trip survey and census of commerce. Based on the result, we chose the target area and performed an on-the-spot survey. The result shows that from 1998 through 2008, the share of car users increased, and the spatial organization of the commercial buildings is greatly influenced by the distance from the nearest station and scale of the station.
