In this paper, we extend our investigation of the reasonable number of sanitary fixtures in schools which we had mentioned in our previous paper. The contents are as follows : 1. Investigating the children's behaviour using lavatories in a kindergarten and an elementary school, we analysed the distributions of using-times, using-frequencies and simultaneous uses of sanitary fixtures. 2. Simulation method was applied for the calculation of the number of sanitary fixtures, therefore we analysed several arrival distributions at the lavatories in recesses of ten minutes between lessons, and suggested one of the arrival distribution models. 3. In addition to the above-mentioned arrival distribution, we suggested several conditions for the calculation which included not only the using-times and the using-frequencies but also the three levels of maximum waiting time as the evaluating index for the decision of the reasonable number. 4. As the results of the calculation, we showed the reasonable number of urinal for male and that of closet for female in elementary, junior high and senior high schools in each of three levels.

成人を対象として,トイレ利用に関する意識調査を実施し,職場のトイレまでの距離に対する考え,トイレでの待ち行動,トイレに対する要望および好ましい便器などのトイレに対する種々の事項を明らかにした.また,同時に実施した15分間隔の生活調査により,トイレ利用に関連する生活行為と排せつ行為の1日の経時変化を示した.そして,これらの結果を用いてトイレ利用を考察し,"基本要因(起床・昼休み・就寝)","時間帯","場所","習慣"および今後考慮すべき質的な内容である"清潔"をトイレ利用の要因として選定した.

This paper proposes the cleanliness check system which is constructed by the evaluation of students for the purpose of efficient cleaning management. This system was applied to a certain university as a case study. First the viewpoints and judgment conditions on which the cleanliness of campus were evaluated were extracted by the hearing investigations to the students. Then, some items for the cleanliness check were decided based on these results. Furthermore, importance level to the check items and user satisfaction to the current conditions were investigated. As a result, the necessary knowledge to improve concretely the cleaning management was obtained.

It is difficult to entrust contractors with daily cleaning services in government offices due to security reasons. Therefore, the quality of cleanness in those rooms is ensured by room users' self-cleaning works. In order to study how to improve the quality of cleanness in those rooms where daily cleaning services are not provided by any contractor, such as "Office work room", "Meeting room" and so on, we assessed the actual situation of room users' self-cleaning works in this study. In detail, room users' self-cleaning works were classified under 4 categories according to the type of cleaning works, "Floor sweeping", "Floor wiping", "Desktop cleaning" and "Trash & ashtray cleaning". And the frequency of cleaning works as well as the number of room users who performed it in respective categories was surveyed. Further, it was analyzed that the relativity between the room users' actual cleaning performance and the result of self-evaluation on the degree of their practice. Also, our study assessed factors which affect the self-evaluation on the frequency of their self-cleaning works such as "Frequently", "Occasionally" and "Hardly".

1年間にわたり測定した複合商業施設内飲食店舗における使用水量データをもとに,経時的な使用水量の変動傾向を解析し,各店舗の水使用実態を明らかにした。得られた結果をもとに水使用モデルを作成し,モンテカルロ・シミュレーション手法を用いて給水負荷の算定を行った。はじめに,1分間隔で測定した使用水量データの時系列的な取り扱いについて検討を行った。また,時間使用水量と来客者数の関係について,1日の来客状況調査を実施し,両者の関連について考察した。さらに,年間休日の時間平均使用水量の変動パターンを用い,店舗の水使用パターンの類型化を行った。最後に,各種店舗の厨房内における水使用モデルとして,吐水時間,吐水流量,水使用頻度からなる負荷算定モデルを作成し,全店舗を合計した時系列的給水負荷の算定を行った。

本研究は,各種建物の使用水量を精度よく推定するため,幾つかの水使用要因を考慮した多元的な予測式の導出を目的としており,その第2報として,ホテル・旅館を対象に論述している.すなわち前報と同様に,全国の主要9都市で実施した水使用アンケート調査を基に,建物の諸特性・使用水量の関連分析により得た回帰式および建物管理者の水使用意識・節水対策の実状を示すとともに,建物特性・水使用意識・使用水量をアイテム・カテゴリーにとり,数量化理論第III類によって相互の関連を分析している.使用水量の予測は重回帰分析によって検討し,延べ床面積・従業員・宿泊可能人員あたりの使用水量を3〜4個の変数で説明する重回帰式を提案した.

In this paper, the energy consumption of the electrified housing located in Hiroshima area was grasped, and the relationships between the energy consumption by hot water supply system and the housing attributes of residents were examined. To predict the annual and monthly energy consumption, the Quantity Theory Cluster I was applied. Based on the analysis, the factors affecting to the energy consumption were clarified, and the influence of energy consumption was compared among the factors.As for the predictive equations for energy consumption, the multiple correlation coefficients of annual value and monthly values were explained with 0.852 and 0.740-0.827 respectively. Also, it was clarified that “types of water heater” had major influence on energy consumption throughout a year, and “number of frequency for filling hot water into a bathtub in winter” and “age of the first child of the family” had influence in winter season.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the techniques for evaluating river environment. Therefore, this paper is presented a technique based on people's opinions and sense as the first installment of this study. The questionnaires on living and river environment were executed to the dwellers at the 21 districts in Hiroshima City, the lower reach in the Ota. On these results, the structures of evaluation on living and river environment are clarified by using the factor analysis, and the 21 districts and river spaces are classified on the properties of evaluation of environment. Analysing the relation between the comprehensive and the conservative evaluation on living and river environment, the importance of the existence of river environment, especially as scenic and natural resources, is pointed out for the amenity of living environment in urban areas. As to the relation between evaluation and indexes composing the environment, the multiple regression models are described, and we find that the properties of evaluation are affected by the surrounding environment indexes.

In this study, the river environment was chosen as the subject to consider comfortable water enviornment in region. And we have the aim to clarify the relation between the properties of river environment and people's opinions. This paper which is analysed the evaluation of living environment on the basis of questionnaire executed to the regional dwellers is the first installment of this study. The contents are as follows : 1) The Nagara, the Chikugo and the Shimanto basins were chosen as the subject to the study. We showed the properties of the three rivers and regional indexs of 9 municipalities in the upper, the middle and the lower reaches. 2) We showed the people's opinions in each region with 45 items for each evaluation of components of living environment. 3) Selecting 6 factors by the factor analysis with 45 items, we clarified the trends of evaluation with the average factor scores in each region. 4) Using 5 items for comprehensive evaluation of living environment, we showed the results of the people's opinions in each region. And we analysed the relation between comprehensive and each evaluation, using the Quantity theory cluster II and III. 5) We analysed the relation between comprehensive evaluation of living environment and properties of answerers of questionnaire, using the Quantity theory cluster III. 6) Using the average factor scores and the average scores of comprehensive evaluation in each region, we showed the correlation matrix on the 6 factors and 5 items above mentioned. Furthermore, we showed the relation between the average factor scores and the selected regional indexes.

We considered the structure of the evaluation of river environment by the people's opinions and sense based on the questionnaires executed in 9 municipalities on the basins of the Nagara, the Chikugo and the Shimanto, and mainly analysed the conservation of river environment and the accessibility to river. Now, the Part 1 on this study analysed the evaluation of living environment in the same regions. The contents of this paper are as follows. 1) We showed the properties of river environment in the 9 regions of the upper reaches, the middle reaches and the lower reaches. 2) We analysed the people's behaviours of recreation in and around the rivers. 3) As to the conservation of river environment and the accessibility to river, we analysed the people's evaluation concerning the nature of river, landscape, artificiality and playing area with water. 4) Using the factor analysis, we selected 3 and 2 common factors from the results of the people's evaluation on the conservation and the accessibility. And we evaluated the regions with the average factor scores in each factor. 5) Using 3 items for comprehensive evaluation of river enviornment, we showed the results of the people's opinions in each region. And we analysed the relation between the comprehensive, conservative evaluation and the people's properties, using the Quantity Theory Cluster III. 6) We clarified the river images by the Semantic Differential Technique using the 30 pairs of adjectives. Using the factor analysis, we selected 4 common factors from these results, and evaluated the regions with the average factor scores in each factor. 7) As to the above mentioned contents on each evaluation, we showed the correlation matrix, and showed the relation between the scores of evaluation and the selected indexes of river environment.
