本稿は,イタリア中・北部における産業遺産の保存と活用,およびそれらを展開軸とする都市再生に関する筆者の見聞録である。産業遺産の意義は文化遺産や自然遺産,および労働文化との複合的な文脈の中に位置づけられるが,その保存と活用の仕方は次のように3分類できる。1.産業遺産の保存とその博物館としての再利用による地域貢献。2.旧重工業地域における産業遺産の保存と都市再開発によるランドスケープの形成。3.産業遺産である「カンパニィタウン」の保存による地方都市の開発,産業観光化の試み。こうして呼び起こされた「産業の記憶 industrial memory」は,地域のアイデンティティを再生し新たな活力を生み出す契機となることを期待されている。その方向性は,成熟社会における新たな産業の創出,とりわけ文化的観光を射程に入れたものと思われる。

グローバル経済化の進展によって,地方の公共交通は危機に瀕している。規制緩和政策の下,交通事業者の撤退をはばむものはなく,国民の交通権を守るべき国は後景に退き,その役割は,地方自治体に重くのしかかっている。地方自治体には,地域住民の交通権を守るべく,地域特性に応じた対応策をたてることが期待される。しかし,地方自治体には,地域交通政策の立案・実施に必要な権限も財源もないのである。このような状況下において,鉄道の活用を地域交通政策の柱として位置づけたのが,北勢線沿線自治体である。本稿では,近鉄による北勢線廃止の申し出から地方自治体による存続決定に至る過程を検証することによって,グローバル経済下における地方自治体の地域交通政策の課題を整理した。

<p>日本の医療は,治療の質は世界でもトップクラスだと言われて久しい.しかし,入院中の患者・家族のケアは欧米に比べ不十分だと言われている.小児がんや難病の子ども達と家族の精神的ケアを目的に,認定特定非営利活動法人シャイン・オン・キッズでは,ハンドラーと呼ばれる臨床経験のある看護師と,ファシリティドッグのチームを病院に派遣している.</p><p>ファシリティドッグとは,特定の施設に常勤し,職員として勤務する犬のことである.癒しを目的とする触れ合い活動に留まらず,より治療に関わる仕事をしている.ファシリティドッグが介在することにより,採血の時に泣き叫ぶ子どもが落ち着いて実施することができたり,手術室まで同行すると落ち着いて入室することができる.</p><p>闘病中だからと我慢するのではなく,闘病中であっても,楽しいこと・笑顔になれることは重要である.</p><p>小児医療では,患者家族のケアも必要であるが,ファシリティドッグの存在により,不安やストレスを軽減することができると言う家族も多く,また,同じハンドラーとファシリティドッグが頻回に訪問してくるため信頼関係が築かれ,医療スタッフには言えない本音を出せる家族もいる.</p><p>多忙な業務の中で,ファシリティドッグに会うと気持ちが和らぐと言う医療スタッフも多く,ファシリティドッグは,子ども達と家族を笑顔にするだけでなく,医療スタッフを含め病院全体を笑顔にしている.</p>

The cycle of Sts. George, Jerome and Tryphon for the Scuola Dalmata was executed by Vittore Carpaccio in ca. 1502-1511. The Vision of St. Augustine of the cycle is based on the apocryphal letters. Compared with the examples of same subject and the representations of the other study, it reveals that this work is different from the traditional iconography. The setting of study and chapel focused on both the contemplative life and the daily work of bishop. It finds also the details which demonstrate a kind of collectionism. These become the factors which remind anyone's portrait. When we concern on this problem, it's important to see it in the patronal context. The production of the cycle has been inspired by the donation of the relic by Paolo Vallaresso, and it's also important to remember that Maffeo Vallaresso is the archbishop of Zara. He is the humanist-ecclesiastic, interested with the art, which recorded in his letters. On considering these factors, the setting of study and art-conscious details, in the contemporary context, so it can say that the St. Augustine's study is intended to allude the intellectual and ecclesiastical figure of Maffeo Vallaresso.

精神科病院の入院患者を対象として,看護支援における動物を用いたアプローチの有用性を検討した。動物とのふれあいの効果を検討したところ,このアプローチを必要としている患者の傾向と,アプローチによる患者の気分の変化が明らかとなった。患者の入院生活支援を24時間している看護師において,環境整備は重要な看護援助のひとつであり,動物が好きな患者において「動物がいる入院環境を整えること」は,情緒の安定,意欲の向上,環境の適応などに繋がる可能性が考えられた。

規制緩和と地方分権の推進,環境問題の深刻化と少子・高齢社会の到来を契機として,交通政策はパラダイム転換を求められている。その渦中に投じられた地方自治体は,一方では,コミュニティバスを中心とする交通手段の現物供給によってシビルミニマムを確保し,他方では,敬老パスというシビルミニマムの現金支給形態において,高齢者のアクセシビリティを保障している。本稿においては,高齢者をとりまく交通環境の現状と交通バリアフリー法によるアクセシビリティ改善状況などを検討した上で,高齢者に対する交通権保障という視点から必要であるのは,交通分野内部におけるパラダイム転換ではなく,交通政策の底流をなすべき政治哲学の転換もしくは確立であることについて問題提起した。
