This paper reports the evaluation method of the waterproofing system for underground structure applied on earth retaining walls prior to concrete casting. The most important part for evaluating waterproofing properties of this system is a penetrated part through waterproofing, or a damaged part of waterproofing. For the penetrated part, the specimen of this system should be made of concrete casting vertically. For the damaged part, the specimen should be made of concrete using tall frame and casting vertically, or using small frame and rotating to accelerate bleeding. Then waterproofing property of this system is evaluated by pressurizing permeability test.

A SrZrO3 thin film with yttrium (Y) concentration of 20 at % (SZYO) was successfully deposited by the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) technique. The laser power of PLD affected Y-concentration significantly even though it used the same PLD target. On contrary, the laser reputation frequency and the deposition temperature did not significantly affect the composition. The SZYO film deposited at the optimized conditions was well crystallized and showed no secondary phase and showed (111) and (110) orientations when they were deposited on (111)Pt/SiOx/Si and on (111)Pd/(111)Pt/SiOx/Si substrates, respectively. This SZYO film is expected to use as an electrode of our proposed novel solid oxide fuel cells.

This paper is described about the failures of waterproofing membranes for underground structures applied on earth retaining walls prior to wall concreting. In this waterproofing system the quality of waterproofing work may become worse and failures increase because waterproofing membrane is applied to irregular surface of the earth retaining wall, waterproofing work is complicated with demolition work of earth retaining wall and concreting work. So it must be recognized the note of this system and needs to make standard of this system. Before standardizing, we researched the failures of this method and classified.
