宗教は,人類史において私たちと切り離せないものであったと言える。宗教に関する学問は様々あるが,近年西洋圏で急速に発展してきたのが宗教認知科学,すなわち認知科学・進化科学の観点から,なぜ宗教が人間社会に普遍的に見られるのか,また世代を超えて受け継がれるのかを解明しようとする学際的分野である。ただその理論・仮説の文化普遍性は必ずしも検証が十分とは言えない。主に一神教世界の研究者たちが構築してきた理論を,非一神教世界の理解のために無批判に適用してよいのだろうか? そこには一神教的な自然観を前提とした文化的バイアスがかかっていないだろうか? これを問うために本シンポジウムでは,まず日本で宗教認知科学研究を進めてきた研究者に自身の研究を紹介してもらい知見を蓄積する。そして指定討論者には「超常認識」や「想像界の生きもの」の比較文化プロジェクトに携わり「人はなぜモンスターを想像するのか」について多くの論考をお持ちの山中由里子(専門:比較文学比較文化)を迎え,コメントをいただく。この異分野間の対話を通じて,宗教認知科学で問われる宗教的概念・信念の文化的相違点について議論を深めたい。

本研究では,現代の人々において,日本の「伝統的価値観」と「認識」されているものの考え方,感じ方を整理し,それが文化的自己観といかに関係するかを検討する。伝統的価値観は予備調査において取り出すことのできた考えのうち,すでに別領域での研究の多い伝統的性役割観については除いた上で,自分自身の行動指針,行動規範となり得るものに焦点をあてることとした。また,おみくじをひく等の具体的な日常的宗教行為と伝統的価値観がいかに関わるかについても探索する。オンライン調査によって648名(女性430名,男性218名,M=33.94)から得た有効回答を用い,研究1では伝統的価値観尺度,日常的宗教行為尺度を構成し,それぞれ7因子,4因子構造であることと,信頼性・妥当性を確認した。さらに,研究2では文化的自己観との関連を探り,「祟りとばち(a kind of vitalism)」の伝統的価値観が空気信仰を高めることを通して文化的自己観に影響することが確認された。以上の結果から,現代日本においても伝統的価値観が社会的相互作用に対して重要な役割を果たしていることが示された。

Many researchers have historically shied away from psychological experiments with olfactory stimuli on account of their lack of ability to tackle the handling of odor substances. This article introduced various methods of presenting odor-stimuli in psychological experiments. From the highly skillful methods to control the chemical and physical properties of odorants by use of an expensive olfactometer to the simple method of arranging everyday-materials sold in the supermarket, explanations of various methods used in olfactory research were offered. Methods to carry out experiments using olfactometers, odor-jars, odor paper-strips, odor-bags, squeeze bottles and other tools, were described in detail.

This research aims to clarify the characteristics of human behavior while eating meals in co-eating and solitary eating situations. To manipulate eating situations, we observed participants' behaviors (N = 6) under two different experimental settings: a solitary eating condition, in which participants had their meals alone while watching television or using their cellphone, and a co-eating condition, in which participants ate their meals in the course of dyadic conversation with friends. We assessed the participants’ gaze behaviors and eating actions during the meal and compared these between the two eating situations statistically. The results demonstrate that 1) participants in the co-eating condition glanced longer at their own meal compared to participants in the solitary eating condition, 2) participants in the solitary eating condition often stopped their other eating actions while chewing food, and 3) participants in the co-eating condition frequently gathered meal portions using a spoon while looking at their meal. These results suggest that participants in the solitary eating condition enjoyed their meal while watching television or using their cellphone in an informal atmosphere. Meanwhile, participants in the co-eating condition used their meals to coordinate their interactive behaviors with a co-eater. The social functions of co-eating are discussed from a human behavior analysis perspective.

症例は48歳,男性.健康診断の胸部単純X線写真で異常影を指摘され当院を受診した.造影CTで左後縦隔に被膜を有する5.5×5.3×5.0 cmの腫瘤を認めた.良性囊胞性腫瘍を疑い切除術を行った.術中所見で腫瘍は胸腔内迷走神経由来であった.病理検査の結果,高度な囊胞変性を伴ったancient schwannomaと診断した.迷走神経由来の後縦隔ancient schwannomaのまれな1例を経験した.

植物とシアノバクテリアの酸素発生中心について筆者らの考究と理論計算の結果を紹介する.特に酸素発生と水分解は光誘起電荷分離の結果として生じるという観点から,正電荷の担体たる正孔がプロトンに変換される事実を焦点にして酸素発生中心を議論する.酸素発生中心を形作る原子軌道や内外の水素結合ネットワークが如何にして電荷を整流するか,その滲み出しの詳細理解に迫る試みの一端として筆者らの古典分子動力学計算と量子化学計算により得られた骨子を述べる.

In the study of the social security law the process of social service provision under the contract-based system has not been analyzed legally so far apart from the allocation system. This paper analyzes it and discovers ideal systems and rights by extracting relationship between social work, service and benefit, and administrative decision. The standard process of social work consists of 1) intake, 2) assessment, 3) contract, 4) planning, 5) implementation of plans, 6) monitoring and evaluation due to social welfare studies. This paper uses this framework and extracts the stage which has not been clearly indicated in the legislation, particularly social work. It is important to discuss the ideal systems and rights of social work which is wider than the mere planning and different from the service provision.

An idea of systematization to improve a quality of both product and process of each project in university is introduced. The method of project management, which is well known as PMBOK (Project Management Body Of Knowledge) GUIDE, that is practically a world standard used in business world, is applied to improve project activities in this study as a methodology for the processes of projects. In addition, student awareness for completing project activities is also important. To satisfy this requirement, a definition of “Fundamental Competencies for Working Person” defined by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Japan in 2006 is also applied in this study. Utilizing the above standard and definition, formats for project planning and regular report to improve the project activities are introduced. From survey of awareness level on the competency factors of “Fundamental Competencies for Working Person” , students who have experienced project activities aware of the competency factors that are important in the project process to create project outputs. On the other hand, there were some project activities that could not be completed as planned, and it was recognized that management to guide students by teaching staff to complete the outputs are necessary. From research results, a style to improve the projects activities in universities are systematized.

本論の目的は、保健医療社会学におけるエスノメソドロジー・会話分析(EMCA)の特徴を明らかにすることにある。社会学的研究においては、日常的な概念連関について考察する必要がある。その中で、EMCAは、事例がそもそもどのようにそれとして理解可能なのかに着目し、概念使用の実践そのものを明らかにしようとする考え方である。こうした試みは、実践の参加者たちの問いを引き受けながら行われてきた。本論では、「急性期病院における協働実践についてのワークの研究」と「遺伝学的知識と病いの語りに関する概念分析的研究」の2つのプロジェクトを事例として、対象領域とのハイブリッド・スタディーズとしての性格を持つEMCAの方針を明らかにする。
