企業サービスの多様化によりユーザからのサポートセンターへの問い合わせが増加している.ユーザ対応に時間がかかり,迅速かつ正確に対応することは困難であり,サポートセンターが人手で行う作業の自動化が求められている.本論文では,文書間の参照構造を利用するアルゴリズムを利用し,ユーザの質問に対して精度の高い回答を提示するシステムを実装する.また,本システム有用性を既存システムと比較して評価する.

Nucleotide sequences of 2 hypervariable regions (HV1, HV2) within the control region of human mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) were analyzed from 55 unrelated Japanese. About 700 nucleotides were sequenced by using the nested PCR and the solid-phase direct sequencing methods. Comparison of these sequences with Anderson's reference sequence revealed 97 mutation types within 93 positions, and 11 positions of them were novel. Fifty five samples analyzed were classified into 52 different sequences, while 3 pairs have shown the same sequences. Comparison of the Japanese sequences to those reported from other populations indicated many differences in such a point that the substitutions at 16,223 and 73 in Japanese were more frequent than those in Caucasian, while the substitutions at 16,126 and 16,311 in Japanese were less frequent than those in Caucasian. Twenty one of 55 samples analyzed showed a T-to-C transition at the position 16,189 of the C-stretch region in the HV1 region. This replacement caused the blurred bands on the sequence image, which resulted in the ambiguity of exact number of cytosine in the C-stretch region of HV1. For this ambiguity, the number of cytosine in the C-stretch region should not be currently taken into account in forensic practices of individualization of evidence samples. Regardless of such problem, the polymorphisms of HV1 and HV2 regions are highly useful for individual identification.

政策の改正・廃止は,既存の政策を正し資源を有効活用するための重要なステップであり,欠陥を伴う政策の改廃遅延は,物質的なものであれ理念的なものであれ,利益よりは弊害を拡大する。政策の改廃が妥当か否かは主として科学的合理性という観点から評価されるが,非合理と判断され問題視される事例は数多い。こうした科学と健康政策の齟齬に起因する問題は,現行の社会制度・政策過程において古今普遍的な現象と考えられる。本稿は,科学と健康政策との齟齬が生れる要因を科学技術論ならびに政策科学の知見から整理し,それらに基づいて保健医療政策分野における現行の対応と将来にわたる課題について論ずる。

Policy science provides the analytical frameworks to examine (1) the process of policy formation and implementation (Issue definition, Agenda setting, Alternative development, Decision and implementation, and Appraisal); (2) the initial and final shapes of policy content (Temporal and spacial distribution of costs and benefits, Selection of administrative organizations, and Choice of instruments to secure policy compliance); and (3) the effects and efficiencies of policy (Expected and unexpected effects of policy, beneficial and adverse ones). These three aspects are closely associated, and determine the functions of policy in society. Overseas, the application of policy science framework to health issues has thus far produced substantive knowledge which helps to improve both the policy making and policy designs, and at the same time, has provided good opportunities on which the workings of health and policy, both at the social and individual levels, are explored.The paper first outlines the themes and frameworks of political science, and then, introduces their application to the field of health. Issues associated with human life and health have special characteristics that distinguish them from those of other market commodities: special values placed on life and health, information inequality between service providers and consumers, and externalities, leading to a variety of moral hazards and market failures. Furthermore, there are some conflicts in values and technical opinions in society, regarding both the ends and means of health policies. In addition to the main topics in the field, empirical studies, from Japan or from other countries, are also summarized. Finally, future research needs and expectations are addressed.

The three-dimensional temperature measurement was carried out using the background schlieren method in combination with the tomographic image reconstruction technique. This technique allows a non-invasive optical measurement is applied to the temperature measurement around of a heating thin wire. The maximum temperature in the measurement agrees closely with that of the theoretical estimate and the thermocouple measurement.

2010年7月にIASBから公表されたED『保険契約』では,保険負債の測定および表示について重要な提案がなされている。本稿は2007年5月に公表されたDP『保険契約に関する予備的見解』からEDに至るまでのIASBにおける保険負債の測定および表示についての検討を跡付け,保険負債の測定において初期利益を認めるべきではないこと,保険負債の測定に際し不履行リスクを含めて考えるべきではないこと,OCIを活用して保険負債の変動を2つの利益に分けて表示すべきこと等を考察するものである。

本研究は、健康リスクへの対処に関わる政策、特にリスクの受容と忌避や政策選択に係るリスクコミュニケーションのあり方、特にマスメディアが政策議論に果たす機能について実態調査を行い、国際的な比較実証分析を意図した。本研究では、食の安全・リスクに関わる問題としてBSEと輸入食品問題への対処を検討課題として取り上げ、日本、米国、韓国の主要日刊紙における報道・社説・論説記事の抽出、分類、さらにこれらの比較分析を行った。

心臓における自律神経調節の主体は、交感神経受容体と連動してcAMP産生を担うアデニル酸シクラーゼである。cAMPは下流酵素を活性化し、細胞内分子のリン酸化を起こし、その主要な標的がカルシウムチャネルであり、細胞内カルシウム+の流入を増加させて心筋の収縮性を制御する。カルシウム流入は心筋の拍動ごとに変化するから、アデニル酸シクラーゼとカルシウムチャネル活性は、拍動に応じた時間的位相差をもって変化すると予測される。我々はこれらの前提に基づいて両者の分子の制御メカニズムを検討し、双方向性の活性調節が時間的かつ空間的因子によって制御されることを見出し、不整脈の予測変化に役立つことを見出した。

本研究「英国ドキュメンタリー映画の伝統とブリティッシュ・ニュー・ウェーヴの総合的研究」は、イギリスのリアリズム映画の表象が、1930年代から1960年代にかけて、どのように変容してきたのかを時代ごとに総合的に検証し、20世紀のイギリス映画史を把握するための一つのパースペクティヴを提唱するものである。本研究の成果は、『ブリティッシュ・ニュー・ウェイヴの映像学--イギリス映画と社会的リアリズムの系譜学』(ミネルヴァ書房、2012年)に結実した。

約1OGHz以上の周波数帯を用いた無線通信方式においては, 降雨減衰による伝送品質の劣化が大きな問題であり, その定量的評価か必要である. そのためには1分間降雨強度分布を知る必要があるが, 一般には長い積分時間でしか測定されておらず, 従って, 実際に測定されているn分間降雨強度分布から1分間降雨強度分布を推定する方法を確立する必要がある. 日本においては, M分布を用いると60分間降雨強度分布から1分間降雨強度分布を精度良く推定できることが示されている. 本論文は, この推定法を世界的に適用する可能性を検討したものである. さらに, 各地の気象パラメータを用いることによって, 1分間降雨強度分布の推定精度を向上させることができることを示している.
