The chemical constituents of <i>Aconitum yesoense</i> var. <i>macroyesoense</i> and <i>Aconitum japonicum</i> were examined using high-resolution spectral analysis. Twelve novel alkaloids were isolated from <i>A. yesoense</i> var. <i>macroyesoense</i> together with 20 known alkaloids. Eight novel alkaloids were isolated from <i>A. japonicum</i> together with 15 known alkaloids. An HPLC-atmospheric pressure chemical ionization-mass spectrometry (HPLC-APCI-MS) method was useful for the simultaneous determination of 21 <i>Aconitum</i> alkaloids found in <i>A. yesoense</i> var. <i>macroyesoense</i> and A. <i>japonicum</i>. These compounds were fairly stable under the conditions used, and the protonated molecules or fragment ions characteristic of the molecule appeared as base peaks in the mass spectra and were used for selected ion monitoring. HPLC-APCI-MS is a very promising approach for structural investigations of positional isomers and stereoisomers. This method was applied successfully to stereoisomeric <i>Aconitum</i> alkaloids differing in configuration at C-1, -6, or -12. Comparison of the APCI spectra showed that the abundance of fragment ions was significantly higher for the C-1, -6, or -12 β-form alkaloid than for C-1, -6, or -12 α-form alkaloid. The main alkaloid constituents in the root of <i>A. yesoense</i> var. <i>macroyesoense</i>, <i>Aconitum</i> alkaloids of the C<sub>20</sub>-diterpenoid type, kobusine and pseudokobusine, and their acyl derivatives were examined for their peripheral vasoactivities by measuring laser-flowmetrically the cutaneous blood flow in the hind foot of mice after intravenous administration. It is thought that the hydroxyl groups of alkaloids, especially a free OH group of pseudokobusine at C-6, were important for action on the peripheral vasculature leading to dilatation, and the results indicated that esterification of the hydroxyl group at C-15 with either anisoate, veratroate, or <i>p</i>-nitrobenzoate may contribute to enhancement of the activity of the parent alkaloids.<br>

We developed a system that is a combination of sound information and picture. We studied the estimation of the direction of incidental plane waves with a small sized electric generator outdoor experimentally. As average numbers of the cross spectrum increase, sound source points are concentrated in a place, in the case that the sound source is random noise. We studied the visualization of sound insulation by this svstem in the anechoic room and outdoors. We confirmed the result and we were able to visualize the diffraction by setting the wall.

背景:脈絡膜破裂を伴った外傷性黄斑円孔に対し硝子体手術を行った一例を経験したので報告する.症例と所見:26歳女性,うちあげ花火が直接右眼にあたり鈍的外傷となった.初診時の矯正視力は0.01であり,白内障,前房出血,黄斑円孔,脈絡膜破裂に伴う黄斑下出血と網膜浮腫がみられた.3週間後黄斑円孔は拡大した.6週後の蛍光眼底造影にて黄斑部に及ぶ網膜循環障害を認めた.受傷6週間後にインドシアニングリーンを用いた内境界膜剥離術を行った.黄斑下手術は行わなかった.結果:術後黄斑円孔は閉鎖し,視力は0.5に改善した.重篤な術後合併症は見られなかった.結論:脈絡膜破裂のある外傷性黄斑円孔に対しても硝子体手術は有効であると考えられた.

本研究は、西洋中心の文明史観から生まれたオリンピズムの日本的な解釈を、その源流に焦点を当てて論じる。主な成果として、1)オリンピズムの日本的受容を書誌学的に整理したこと、2)ピエール・ド・クーベルタンの日本に関する言説のオリンピズムへの影響について検討したこと、3)IOC委員として嘉納治五郎をクーベルタンに推薦したオーギュスト・ジェラールのオリンピズム理解について考察したこと、が挙げられる。

The spectral characteristics of pearls produced by the different species of marine and freshwater bivalved molluscs were examined by Jewel Color Duble-beam Spectrophotometer. The color of pearls appeared to arise from (1) the interference of the light reflected at the external face of pearls and also at each of the boundaries between the crystal layers consisting of the nacre, (2) the absorbing material of light in the nacre, and (3) the dark organic material contained in pearls. The interference color observed in pearls is variable according to the size, shape, orientation and ordering of crystallites in the crystal layers and exhibits the characteristic iridescence of silver white to pink. The spectrophotometric reflectances of the iridescence were similar to each other between the pearls produced by Pinctada maxima, Pinctada margaritifera and Pteria penguin. We will notice that the major absorbing material is the pigment secreted by the epithelial cells of the pearl sac derived from the mantle epithelium. The color impression of pearls was closely connected with the characteristic pigment in the different species of bivalves, e. g. yellow for Pinctada fucata and P. maxima, black for P. margaritifera, brown for P. penguin, orange pink for Hyriopsis schlegeli, and violet pink for Anodonta calypigos. In the black pearls of P. margaritifera and the brown pearls of P. penguin, the reflection curves had respectively the special absorption bands, probably caused by the characteristic pigment contained in each pearl. The color impression of pearls including the dark organic material was dark and pale blue, and did not differ between the different species of bivalves in the spectrophotometric reflectance. The organic material seems to be composed of anomalous secretions and debris of cells.
