幾何学的不変量を用いた3次元点の測定法について述べている. 一平面上の4点を2組用意し, 各平面において幾何学的不変量を用いて5点目を算出し, 算出した点から直線を出している. 左右画像からそれぞれ直線が計算され, 交点から測定点が計算されている. 幾何学的不変量はアフィン不変量, 射影不変量が用いられ, 実験によって, 射影不変量を用いた場合カメラキャリブレーションを行った場合と同程度の測定精度で測定できることが分かった.

Manufacturing technology for stainless steel double skin panels using laser spot welding was developed and some static strength properties were carried out. And this panel has been examined for the feasibility of practical utilization. The results obtained are summarized as follows;(1) Manufacturing technology was established on which there are invisible welding marks and the corrosion resistance and appearance are equivalent to original metal surface.(2) Calculate method of the moment of inertia of area of this panel is established.(3) This panel is approximately 75% lighter than the bulk material in equivalent flexural rigidity.(4) Any laser spot welded site is not broken in region of below maximum load as well as localized buckling in mechanical tests.(5) In application of this panel to vessels and vehicles, simulation model of stiffness and strength of this structures life prediction of this panel based on fatigue strength analysis for panel reliability prediction technology is required.

This paper analyzes a fishing tackle consisting of bar float, line, sinker, hook line, subsinkers, and hook. Three arrangements of the subsinkers attached to the hook line are considered: 1) free design without sub-sinkers, 2) equal design with a pair of identical subsinkers, and 3) unequal design with a light sinker followed by a heavy one. Fluid-dynamic coefficients are identified to calculate, for instance, bar float drag and friction, and fishing tackle simulations are carried out using a multi-link model proposed by the authors. It turned out, among other things, that the free design can create a good float response to a weak fish bite.

This paper describes the elucidation about influence of dilute NaCl electrolyzed water on character of Al-Mg alloy cutting surface. First, the immersing experiment was conducted for cutting sample of Al-Mg alloy A5056B on the electrolyzed reduced water and electrolyzed oxidized water of 0.10wt% NaCl. Next, checked whether discoloration had occurred on sample surface, and analyzed the element distribution and chemical bond state on cutting surface by ASE (Auger Electron Spectroscopy) and ESCA (Electron Spectroscopy for Chemical Analysis). As results of the study, following could be identified. (1) Dilute NaCl electrolyzed water can be applied to processes, such as machining and surface treatment of Al-Mg alloy. (2) The element distribution of the Al-Mg alloy on cutting surface is controllable by dilute NaCl electrolyzed water. (3) The chemical bond state of aluminum element on Al-Mg alloy cutting surface is controllable by dilute NaCl electrolyzed water.

A bio-chemical treatment system was developed to reutilize the spent water-soluble coolant as a diluent of renewal coolant. The bio-chemical treatment using oil-decomposing microorganisms and a biological activated carbon filtration method showed a high recovery rate of water resource from an emulsion-type coolant. The water-soluble coolant can form the uniform micelle colloid in the recovered water and showed no quality change during the nine months standing at ambient temperature. The processing cost, around 35 yen/L, was equal to or less than current disposal cost. No difference was shown in the chisel and flank wear of machine tool after 100 holes drilling between the water-soluble coolants diluted with recovered water and service water. These facts indicated that the proposed treatment system must be an effective way to reutilize the water-soluble coolant as the diluent of renewal coolant.

本研究は, 硬脆材料の仕上げ加工において研磨加工と同等以上の創成面品位が得られる研削砥石の開発を目的とする. 開発のヒントを古来より人類が使用してきた天然砥石に求めることにした. 本報では天然砥石の基本的な特徴を構造解析・元素分析によって明らかにした. さらに天然砥石の構造を模した砥石を作製し, その有効性を研削実験により確認した.

メカトロニクスのサーボ系において, 位相の遅れた速度信号を用いてフィードバック制御した場合, 制御ゲインを高く設定することができず, 応答が遅くなるという問題がある. 我々は, 数サンプリング先までの速度信号を予測し, 位相遅れを補償した速度予測方式を開発し, 高速・高精度位置決め応答を実現した. 本論文では, 速度予測方式の原理, シミュレーションおよび1軸スライダの位置決め応答結果を報告する.

近年の成熟した市場環境では, 顧客ニーズを的確に捉え, かつ競合製品とは一線を画した「革新的製品」が求められる. 本論文では, そうした革新的製品の概念設計を系統的に進めるためのIPDPの新たなアプローチを提案する. これは, 既存の製品構造のままでは実現困難な, 明確な差別化につながる目標品質を設定し, それを達成するために製品構造のどこにどのような技術革新を施せばよいかを同定するものである.

The aim of design theory is to investigate the domain-independent natures of artifacts and design activities. The notion of function is important in design theory since design specifications are described in terms of functions, but it is not easy to define functions because the notion is closely related to our subjective intentions. In this report, we shall analyze the paradox of General Design Theory in in order to show the importance of the concept of function in a design theory, and we show that the concept has a correspondence with the notion of meanings of natural language expressions. Then, we give a formulation of the notion of function by using Situation Semantics which corresponds to Simion's definition of an artifact as an interface between its inner and outer environments. These arguments show the relationships between design theory and natural language semantics.

Entity concepts and related definitions and axioms in General Design Theory are analyzed, and the paradoxical phenomena about General Design Theory is explained. Then, by investigating entity concepts in Abstract Design Theory, a mathematical theory of design based on the philosophy of General Design Theory and a mathematical theory of information flow, it is shown that entity concepts in these design theories correspond to noun phrases in Montague Semantics, a formal semantics of natural language. This is an application of linguistics to design theory, and a new phase of correlation of design theory and theoretical computer science through Montague Semantics can be expected from these investigations.

This paper describes the dynamic synchronous accuracy between the axes of translational and rotational in a 5-axis machining center. The 5-axis machining centers are applied to machining complex shapes, such as trurbine blades and impellers. When the 5-axis machining centers are used to machine complex shapes, the velocity of each axis varies greatly. Therefore, the synchronous accuracy of each axis is an important factor to generate high accuracy shapes. In this study, non-uniform 3-axis synchronous motion was investigated in order to estimate the dynamic synchronous accuracy. A dynamic model of the each axis including a rotary axis was developed, and the synchronous motion was simulated. As the results of experiment and simulation, it is verified the developed model can express the experimental results accurately. In addition, a method that can improve the synchronous accuracy is proposed, and its effectiveness is clarified by the developed dynamic model.

製品表面に付けられている微小な凹凸である表面テクスチャは製品の触覚または視覚品位や機械的性質を向上させるための一要因であるが, その作成方法を体系的に研究している例は見当たらない. そこで, 機械加工により表面テクスチャを作成するシステムを開発し, テクスチャリング処理に関する基礎的な研究を行った.

Mesoporous silica materials with self-organized structures that consist of periodic nano-scale pores have been expected to be of great significance in realizing micro-nano systems. The morphological control of the mesostructured materials are demonstrated by varying the concentration ratios of CH_3(CH_2)_<15>N(CH_3)_3Cl(C16TMACl)/(C_2H_5O)_4Si(TEOS) and HCl solution. The increase of the concentration ratios changes the shape and size of the mesostructured materials. Linear hexagonal rods, good example for this application, can be synthesized by the reaction of 7.04g/4.48ml for C16TMACl/TEOS and 70ml/20ml for 5N HCl/H_2O. The most suitable calcination conditions for higher strength are determined by varying the calcination temperature up to 1000℃. The hardness, elastic modulus and fracture load of the mesostructured hexagonal rods are clarified by nano-indentation method.

This paper deals with controlling feed rate for small circular motion on NC machine tools. Recently new machining methods using small circular interpolation with endmills or direct taps have been used for machining cylindrical holes or tapping. Accordingly, contouring accuracy is getting more important in the new method. Decision of feed rate that influences contouring accuracy is the most important and difficult. So far the maximum feed rate for circular motion is decided according to the normal acceleration constant rule. This rule is a good way to restrict errors due to difference of stiffness between two axes because the errors are mainly proportional to normal acceleration. In the case of small circles, the rule is of no service. That is why errors are increasing as angle speed increases even if normal acceleration is constant. Therefore, the new rule to decide feed rate for small circular motion is needed. This paper analyses what is related with the errors in case of small radii and proposes a new rule to decide feed rate for small circular motion.

Because the visually impaired desire to know not only color of the 1 point but also whole color on the object, we developed a color discrimination system by the presentation of the sound which enable the blind to recognize the color and its change. While the blind scans the surface of a target object with this system, it continuously makes sound corresponding to surface colors. The problem is the mapping between color and sound for the blind to learn easily and to get the color condition shortly. In this paper, we propose the Shepard Tone Method (STM) and the Trio Ensemble Method (TEM) as this mapping.
