科学調査は、東京理科大学・中井泉教授、吉備国際大学・下山進教授らが中心に担当し、型の技法は重要無形文化財保持者・森口邦彦氏、鈴田滋人氏、室瀬和美氏が伝統工芸技術から技法解明を実施した。科学調査の結果は、金地は金泥でなく、金箔とする第1次調査の結果を覆すものであった。有機色料は、波の部分に藍の存在は認められず、青墨の可能性が指摘された。伝統工芸の技法の調査は、金地と流水の境界の輪郭線は、縁蓋(型地紙)を用いた可能性が高いが、流水は型では表現できず、防染剤で描いたものと考えられる。文化財の研究は自然科学のみの調査に頼るのではなく、歴史と伝統の中で蓄積された技術や経験を踏まえることが極めて重要であった。

An energy regenerative active vibration control method using piezoelectric actuators, class D drivers, output filters and sliding mode controllers is proposed by the authors. DC voltage sources are used as power sources in the previous study and capacitors which can store regenerated energy also can be used as power sources. Class D drivers and output filters consist of switches and passive electric elements. Therefore, systems using capacitors as power sources can be considered as semi-active systems. Voltages of capacitors used as power sources are not constant because the capacitors are charged and discharged in control processes. An advantage of the proposed method is that characteristics of closed-loop systems are independent from voltages of power sources when systems are in sliding mode conditions. The advantage is suitable for systems using capacitors as power sources. The validity of the semi-active control method based on the proposed method is shown by numerical simulations of a SDOF model.

メカトロニクスのサーボ系において, 位相の遅れた速度信号を用いてフィードバック制御した場合, 制御ゲインを高く設定することができず, 応答が遅くなるという問題がある. 我々は, 数サンプリング先までの速度信号を予測し, 位相遅れを補償した速度予測方式を開発し, 高速・高精度位置決め応答を実現した. 本論文では, 速度予測方式の原理, シミュレーションおよび1軸スライダの位置決め応答結果を報告する.

Zucker fattyラットを用いて、インスリン抵抗性に対する和漢薬の効果を検討した。その結果、八味地黄丸に高インスリン血症改善作用、黄連解毒湯、桂枝茯苓丸、大柴胡湯、八味地黄丸、防已黄耆湯に脂質代謝を是正する作用が認められ、これらの作用によりインスリン抵抗性に好影響を与える可能性を示唆する知見が得られた。さらに、八味地黄丸ならびに防已黄耆湯投与後の脂肪組織における遺伝子発現をDNAマイクロアレイにより網羅的に解析した結果、和漢薬の投与により遺伝子発現が異なっており、これらの変化がインスリン抵抗性における作用発現の相違に関与している可能性が示唆された。

Streptococcus infantariusによる感染性心内膜炎(infective endocarditis; IE)が冠動脈閉塞を引き起こした一例を経験した。症例は84歳男性。4年前に大動脈弁置換術の既往があり,胸痛を主訴に救急搬送された。緊急心臓カテーテル検査において冠動脈の左前下行枝から塞栓物が吸引されたが,来院時発熱はなくIEは疑われていなかった。塞栓物は病理組織検査にて微生物感染疑いと診断されたことから,血液培養や経食道心エコー検査などIEの精査が施行された。血液培養は翌日2セットすべてのボトルが陽性となり,また経食道心エコー検査にて大動脈弁に疣腫を認めたことから,IEによる冠動脈塞栓症と診断され,抗菌薬治療が開始された。弁置換術既往などIEのハイリスク患者は,症状や臨床検査値が軽度でもIEを疑い,早期精査施行が望ましい。IEの原因菌は16S rRNA塩基配列の解析によりS. infantariusと決定された。本菌を含むbovis groupの菌種は,IEや髄膜炎,消化管悪性腫瘍など重篤な疾患との関連性が高く,正確な菌種同定が求められる。しかし,Streptococcus属菌種は,生化学的同定法では鑑別困難な場合が多いため,同定困難な場合は専門施設へ解析が依頼できるよう,日頃から体制を整えておく必要がある。

A semi-active vibration control technique using piezoelectric actuators with switched inductance shunts has been studied. This technique can be used for not only vibration suppression but also energy harvesting. In order to design semi-active vibration control systems and energy harvesters using this technique efficiently, it is necessary to analyze and understand the effects of design parameters on the performance of these systems. Responses of these systems to harmonic disturbance forces can be used for performance evaluation and previous studies analyze periodic responses of semi-active vibration control systems by assuming sinusoidal displacement responses and using method of harmonic balance. However, this control technique induces rectangular control forces and the displacement responses are distorted. Enhancing the control forces leads to stronger distortion of the responses and the validity of the assumption of the previous studies becomes lost. In order to overcome this problem, the authors have proposed to use shooting method which is a numerical method to calculate periodic solutions of non-linear systems without assuming certain forms of responses. This paper presents periodic responses obtained by shooting method with an improved non-dimensional model and the periodic responses are compared with ones obtained by method of harmonic balance. Furthermore, this paper considers not only the periodic responses but also non-periodic chaotic responses obtained by long term simulations with the non-dimensional model.

冷泉家時雨亭文庫の蔵書のうち冷泉家時雨亭叢書(朝日新聞社刊)未収録のもの約500点を詳細に調査した。そのうち77点については『新古今和歌集 打曇表紙本 風雅和歌集 春夏』をはじめとする16巻に分けて刊行した(現在も刊行中)。また、特に注目される擬定家本私家集(定家書写本の様式をまねて作成された写本群)については、和歌文学会関西例会においてシンポジウムを催した。これは、鎌倉時代中期から後期にかけての歌書が、どのように作成されていったのかを克明に研究する方法とその意義とを明確にする画期的なシンポジウムとなった。
