要旨:長野県動物愛護センター(以下ハローアニマルとする)は、動物について学び、ふれあいを通して命の大切さや相手を思いやる気持ちを育み、人にも動物にも優しい社会を築くことを目的として、動物を介在した様々な事業を行っている。特に、子供達を対象とした取り組みについては、教育・医療・福祉関係機関と協働し子供達のより良い成長と発達のための支援を実施している。今回、医療と協働し動物介在療法(アニマルアシステッドセラピー)(以下AAT とする)による不登校児童生徒支援事業「ハローアニマル子どもサポート(以下子どもサポートとする)」を実施したので報告する。

[便]を対象に個別語の使用増加が複数の字音を持つ漢字の字音と意味の関係に与える影響について考察する。現代日本語における[便]はビンが<通信手段>に,ベンが<都合>に集中した用例を持つ。<都合>はビン/ベンに共通するが,ベンに傾いている。このような使用様相は明治期における「郵便」「便利」などの個別語の使用拡大により形成されたと思われる。<たより>に連なる<通信手段>は「郵便」のような「-ビン」構造の語が通信・運輸において使用されたことにより定着する。<都合>は「便利」「不便」「便」のような<都合>に近い語義を持つベンの例の使用拡大によりベンに傾く。

Canine distemper virus (CDV) is an infectious agent that can cause canine distemper (CD), a lethal disease. Immunization is an effective method to control the infection; however, some cases of failed immunization are observed in animal hospitals every year. Therefore, in this study, we conducted phylogenetic analysis of the H gene of isolated CDVs. We first constructed a modified MDCK cell line, which constitutively expressed signaling lymphocyte activation molecule (SLAM), a specific receptor for CDV. The modified cell line was more suitable for propagation of CDV than the original MDCK cell line. Next, 9 CDVs were successfully isolated from 20 dogs with suspected CD-associated diseases. Of these CDV isolates, three were from vaccinated dogs. The analysis indicated that the H gene sequences of these 9 viruses were highly similar. The present study further supported the finding that the majority of CDV in China belonged to the genotype Asia-1, which was different from vaccine strains (America-1 and America-2). Although the clinical application of the vaccine suggested that it is effective against CDV infection, it remains an open question whether a novel vaccine based on the genotype of the Asia-1 strain would be more suitable for protection of dogs against Asia-1 CDVs infection.

A large abdominal mass was found in a dog. Histopathologically, the surface of the mass was covered with compressed adrenal gland tissue. The neoplastic cells showed typical features of malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor (MPNST), including Antoni type A and type B pattern, and nuclear palisading. Immunohistochemically, these cells were positive for S100 protein, nerve growth factor receptor, nestin and claudin-1. The dog was euthanized because of the developing multiple metastatic lesions. The metastatic cells showed quite similar histopathological and immunohistochemical features as those in the original tumor. Although MPNST can develop at many body sites, this is the first report of MPNST originating from the adrenal gland in a dog.

A 2.5-year-old male French Bulldog was evaluated for seizures. Cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suggested a glioma in the left piriform area. Radiation therapy (RT) and continuous chemotherapy were administered. Although the lesion had regressed significantly 2 months after RT, a follow-up MRI revealed meningeal enhancement in the left piriform area, which expanded further, with hydrocephalus, by day 310 (8 months after RT). Because of the poor prognosis, the dog was euthanized on day 356 and necropsy was performed. Histopathological examination confirmed anaplastic oligodendroglioma with leptomeningeal dissemination. This case suggests that the possibility of leptomeningeal dissemination and hydrocephalus should be considered even after RT and chemotherapy for anaplastic oligodendroglioma.

脊椎過敏症とは 背痛あるいは棘突起部の自発痛や圧痛を主訴として受診する患者のなかで,これらの愁訴以外の理学的所見に乏しく,予後も良好であるものが比較的多いことはよく知られている.このような病態は,脊椎過敏症あるいは棘突起痛と呼ばれ,臨床上きわめて頻度の高いものである.一方,種々の脊椎疾患や内臓疾患の場合に,臨床症状の一つとして棘突起部の疼痛(圧痛,叩打痛,運動痛など)をきたすことは多く,これらの疾患と脊椎過敏症とを鑑別することは,腰背痛患者の診断に際して常に念頭におかなければならない. 統計的にみると,本症は20歳代の女子とくに事務労働者や主婦に圧倒的に多く,平背や円背などのなんらかの不良姿勢や背筋の萎縮をもつ場合の多いことが特徴的である.原因としては未だ明らかでない部分も多いが,自律神経失調,内分泌異常,関連痛,いわゆる付着部痛,ヒステリーなどがあげられている.好発年齢その他からみると心因性要因を含めた素因の存在も否定できないが,臨床的な特徴からは,棘突起に付着する筋・腱・靱帯などの張力が発痛と関係が深いと思われる.姿勢異常や背筋のfibrosisは腱・靱帯付着部に持続的なtensionを加え,局所の発痛素因を高めると考えられる.本症の予後は良好であり,数ヵ月ないし数年の間に自然寛解をみるのが普通である.

In this paper, an expert system was developed for initial stage restoration of EHV power system from system blackout. The operations to be done in case of blackout, are usually determined at every electric station by operation rules, and the power system is restored to the prefault state by carrying out the determined operations at each electric station. In case a regular operation should not work well, several supplementary operations are prepared. This method has some merits that it can restore along normal operation state, that its logic is simple, etc. Because of these merits, a part of the operation rules have been automated by automatic restoration equipments, but in case of system blackout, such human judgements as to secure initial power source are required, and operations by commands from a load-dispatching office become dominant. In this paper, an outline of restoration process was firstly clarified through analysis of the operation rules. Next, the operation rules were transformed into production rules, and were put in order at every electric station. An individual knowledge base was prepared for each group of electric stations in construction of the expert system, and a proper order was introduced in choosing a station to be restored, by which vain search of rules was eliminated. The expert system was applied to a model power system, and it was shown that the computation time for generating all restoration operations is about 0.5s, and that the system can deal with cases where there are some damaged equipments.

We study the voltage stiffness effect for cascading tripping and its protection in power systems. This paper describes a new selective method of proper system separating point to prevent from system failure extension to wide area. We define “the voltage stiffness” by short circuit capacity and line impedance, and explain an operation to select proper separation point. In addition, we consider the security after system separations. It is dominated by both increase of reactive power transmission losses and margin of reactive power supply of generator. The basic 4 power system structures are also considered in this paper. The topological analysis of power system can show the best system structure in both power interchange and cascading trip protection. We apply the proposed method to practical power systems and simulate power system faults. Simulation results show that separating system at the selected point can defend cascading tripping.

In recent years, electronic control has become mainstream of pneumatic control systems. But pneumatic positioning systems have advantages such as explosion proof, operable even at power failure, simple structure, easier maintenance, and low price. Therefore, with fusion of mechanical feedback technology and latest technology, it is possible to realize an advanced system required for realize a safe and secure society, and it can be expected to be applied in a wide field in the future. In this study, we aim to develop advanced system incorporating pneumatic positioning systems with mechanical feedback, we propose a model of the pneumatic positioning systems with mechanical feedback, perform characteristic analysis using the model, and evaluate the effectiveness of the model by comparing with the experiment result. In this paper, step response experiments were carried out using three different sizes of cylinders, and the results of the step response experiment and the simulation were compared. As a result, except for high input pressure, the transient characteristics of both were in good agreement. Therefore, it proved that the proposed model is effective for analyzing the transient characteristics of the system incorporating pneumatic positioning systems with mechanical feedback. We also obtained the prospect that the characteristics analyzed using the proposed model can be used for developing new applications.
