本論文では日本語の句構造文法JPSGとそのパーサについて述べる.JPSGは最新の句構造文法理論であるGPSGやHPSGの基本的な考え方を用い,更に日本語特有の言語現象を扱うために独自の原則を導入した日本語の文法記述体系である.特に統語範疇の集合を値とする下位範疇化素性(SUBCAT)により語順の任意性やコントロール現象が扱い易くなり,句構造規則の一般化が可能である.またJPSGはユニフィケーションを基本操作とする句構造文法であるため,計算効率の面からも有用な文法体系であり,その特徴を自然な形で記述できる論理型言語でパーサを開発中である.

戦間期ハンガリーの「生産的社会政策」を地域社会、道徳規範、人種排除という観点から検討するとともに、この社会政策による支援可否の選別基準を明らかにした。その結果、この政策が地域社会におけるパターナリスティクな権力関係を維持する機能を果たしたこと、同時にこの政策を通じて地域社会が国家による道徳規範の教化と人種的排除を支えていたこと、この相補性は被支援家族の「生産性」や返済能力によって導かれる、支援に値する/しないという選別基準によって可能になっていた、あるいは強化されていたことが明らかになった。

Rashid Rida (1865-1935) is famous as a leader of Salafiyya Movement and the editor of his journal, al-Manar. In this paper, I have attempted to elucidate his view on jama'a. Ride expected Muslim's group called jama'a as true leaders of Islamic Community (umma). Jama'a is defined by him as ulu al-amr (possesors of authority), ahl al-hall wa'l-'aqd (electors of caliph) and ahl al-ijma' al-muta' (people whose consensus is considered as compulsive to umma).Then I examined Ride's efforts to form organizations for his Islamic Reform Movement. These efforts are represented in his plans for Jam'iyya al-da'wa wa'l-irshad (Society of Propaganda and Guidance) and Hizb al-islah al-islami al-mu'tadil (Moderate Islamic Reform Party).

7月17日の山鉾巡行で名高い京都の祇園祭は、日本三大祭の筆頭として、前日より内外から多数の人達がどっと繰り出す。その様は、絢爛で雅な面が強調され、今日では観光イベントとしての印象を与える。しかし、単なる祭というより794年の平安京以降、従来からの渡来文化も取り入れての日本文化の情報発信という歴史的役割を担っており時代の変遷とともに集大成したものと考えられる。-この日本特有の文化を、私は3年前の全国大会で、「日米情報文化比較」にて、『玉ネギのような文化』という表現を借りたのであるが、京都祇園祭は、まさにその見本と考えてよいと思う。ところで、昨今、「八坂神社と祇園祭は、関係がないように受け取られる観光パンフレットがあるようだ。」と聞き及んだ。それが事実でない事は、平安京、八坂神社(祇園社)との関わりを検証していくことで明らかになるが、今回は、「京都祇園祭」が、いかなる時代背景でもって継承されてきたのかを探り、その上で「伝統文化」として将来に向けてどのような形態で受け継がれるのか、あるいは、受け継ぐことができるのかを、甚だ力不足で大胆とは思うが情報文化の視点より試みてみたい。諸先生方より、御教示賜ればまことに幸いに存じます。

One of the characteristic analytical methods in Econophysics is observation of distribution function of an economic phenomenon. By comparing the distribution function with a normal distribution, we can find the correlation structure hiding in the phenomenon through Lindeberg’s central limit theorem and the generalized (stable distribution) central limit theorem. We introduce some examples of research which used the distribution function for the phenomena of financial markets, real estate markets, an online product market, and a retail market.

Persistent left cranial vena cava (PLCVC) is an uncommon congenital thoracic venous anomaly in dogs. This study examines the clinical and CT findings of dogs diagnosed with PLCVC incidentally. In this study, complete type of PLCVC was diagnosed in 26 dogs with CT angiography. Shih tzu (17 cases) and Pekingese dogs (3 cases) were overrepresented. There was no gender predisposition, and the average age at presentation was 10.3 years. Of 26 dogs, one dog had a bridging vein connecting right and left cranial vena cavae, and another dog showed azygos vein terminating PLCVC. On the thoracic CT images in the third dog, the right cranial vena cava was absent so that right brachiocephalic vein ended to PLCVC. However, the right costocervical vein drained another vein coursing caudally to the right atrium with azygos vein. In conclusion, CT angiography is a very useful method to diagnose PLCVC and variations of related thoracic vein anomalies in dogs.
