This report describes the results of site inspection of child daycare facilities and interview with the related persons regarding with acoustic design, which were carried out in Munich city region, Germany, where regulations of acoustic design for daycare facilities exist. The purpose of this attempt is to find the situation of acoustic design in daycare facilities in contrast to those in Japan without any standards or regulations. The result revealed that all the rooms in the inspected facilities were equipped with sound absorptive material and personnel were more or less aware of the benefit of good acoustics.

本研究は、音場が歌唱に与える影響に着目し、歌唱時における体性感覚・聴感印象および発声された歌声の音響的特徴に対して音場が及ぼす影響を検証した。その結果、次の3点が示された。1)残響条件によって、異なる聴感的印象の歌声が発声される。2)残響条件によって、歌唱者が異なる体性感覚・異なる聴感的印象を感じながら発声を行う。3)残響条件によって、異なる声帯振動が起こり、異なる音響的特徴の歌声が発声される。

In recent years, it has become known that children with developmental disabilities have hearing-related difficulties in the learning environment. In this study, we investigated the influence of ambient sound as background noise on the performance of four different cognitive tasks by subjects with developmental disability characteristics, and whether this was mitigated by the sound absorption of the room. The results showed that subjects with developmental disability characteristics tended to score relatively higher on some cognitive tasks under conditions where sound-absorbing material was installed. While further investigation is needed, the results suggest a positive effect of sound absorption.

音環境の評価には、量だけでなく意味が関与する。良好な音環境の実現には、文化的視点も必要であり、マネジメント思考も求められている。本研究で得た成果は次の3点である。(1)主観の影響や、居住地・世代による音源の聞き取り頻度の差といった点から、音環境全体の評価に関する成果を得た。(2)ガムラン音楽や商店街の音環境の他、海外(アジア地域)における鉄道騒音や道路騒音のように幅広い音環境に対して、質的な情報と量的な情報の相互作用についてテキスト・マイニングやPAC分析を用いて成果を得た。(3)個人の認識を可視化し、深層面接を行うツールを用い、認知構造の同定手法に関する成果を得た。

熊本とイェーテボリで同一の方法を用いて道路交通騒音に関する社会調査を実施した。道路交通騒音に対する一般的な不快感はイェーテボリの戸建て住宅で最も大きく, イェーテボリの集合住宅で最も小さかった。熊本での反応はその中間に位置し, 住宅タイプ間に有意差はなかった。地域別・住宅タイプ別に道路交通騒音に対する不快感の構造を調べるために, パス解析を適用した。どの場合も共通して排気ガスの効果が最も大きかった。イェーテボリでは庭/バルコニーでの休息妨害の効果, 熊本ではTV/ラジオ聴取妨害の効果が大きかった。このような要因の効果から, 道路交通騒音に対する社会反応の地域間・住宅タイプ間の相違を解釈した。

Recently, the research field of human - sound environment system tends to be diverse including community noise, neighborhood noise and the newly advocated concept of "soundscape". But the study field seem to be confusing for lack of a framework by which studies in the field could be described totally from one viewpoint. With the framework, the direction and significance of each study could become more clear. In this paper we construct a framework for description of human-sound environment system by assembling findings from cognitive psychology. As examples of application of the framework, we make descriptions on some topics of sound environment.
