Phrasal verbs are frequently used in current English, for example, in newspapers and magazines as well as in colloquialism and novels. The main purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze phrasal verbs used in the economic articles of The Japan Times, and to clarify the characteristics on the basis of the investigation. In this study, the present writer investigated the articles related to economy and business in the thirty issues of The Japan Times, which were published in April and June, 2002. As a result, 315 phrasal verbs were picked up as seen in the attached table. Those phrasal verbs are classified under 27 items related to economic activities or phenomena, such as transaction, investment, production, and financial debt. It is evident that there are a remarkable number of phrasal verbs which are peculiar to business and economy in the economic articles in The Japan Times. It is also revealed that a variety of economic activites or phenomena can be expressed more vividly and concretely in current English by using those phrasal verbs.

ソフトウェア開発のプロジェクトにおける混乱状態回避を目的として,プロジェクトに関するメトリクスから混乱するかどうかの診断手法を開発した.実際のソフトウェア開発プロジェクトにおいて収集されたメトリクスデータを利用して,その有効性を示した.

NTTの高度INでは、カスタマの要望に応じた通信サービスを提供するために、SLPを2種類のSLP (SLP(N)とSLP(C))で構成する。この構成において、サービス毎に生成された1つのSLP(N)が、カスタマ毎に生成された複数のSLP(C)と連携して、カスタマに応じた通信サービスを実現する。また、SLP (N)がサービス提供前に生成されるのに対し、SLP(C)はサービスプロビジョニング時に生成される。このためにSLP(N)とSLP(C)間のインタフェースの整合性を保証する手段が必要である。これに対し、最初にSLP(N)-SLP(C)間のインタフェース仕様を規定し、その規定に基づいて各SLPを生成するという方法を提案してきた。本報告では、高度INで提供される通信サービスをモデル化し、そのモデルのもとでSLP(N)-SLP(C)間インタフェース仕様の定義法を明確にする。その結果に基づき、提案するサービス開発の手順及び各SLPの基本構成について示す。

症例は30歳の女性.1991年頃より心窩部痛が出現,腹部超音波・CTにて肝外側区域に約3.5cm大の嚢胞性病変を指摘された.1996年には肝病変は11cm大に増大し,塩酸ミノサイクリン局注療法を施行された.1998年のCTにて再度6.5cm大に増大,嚢胞壁の肥厚および嚢胞内隔壁が出現したため,肝嚢胞腺腫または嚢胞腺癌と診断,肝外側区域切除術を施行した.摘出標本は7.5×6×4cm大の多房性病変で,組織学的には上皮細胞に悪性所見なく,嚢胞壁は紡錘状の卵巣様間質細胞で構成されており,hepatobiliary cystadenoma with mesenchymal stroma(CMS)と診断された.検索しえたCMS本邦報告例は13例で全例女性であった.自験例では卵巣様間質細胞は免疫化学染色でER・PgR陽性であった.CMSは予後良好とされるが,malignant potentialを有する前癌病変であり,癌化例も認めることから積極的な外科的切除が必要と考えられた.

本論文では,家庭内LANでのみ行われていたUPnPやDLNAによるプラグアンドプレイを遠隔の家電やサーバとも行えるようにする,情報家電遠隔連携サービスを提案する.同様のサービスを実現するための関連研究として,VPNトンネリング方式やUPnPプロキシ方式が提案されているが,それらはVPNやプロキシ接続前の認証をPC上でのユーザ情報登録などで行っており,実際に接続する家電端末上での認証方式を検討していなかった.そこで,我々は家電のDLNAクライアントソフトウェアのユーザインタフェースで簡単に行え,かつ外出先のLANから自宅のLANに接続する場合でも携帯電話を使って安全に行える認証方式を明らかにし,それを実装したシステム上で方式の確認を行った.We propose an authentication method that can be used through a content viewing interface such as the DLNA client on home appliances. Services that connect digital home appliances to another home LANs or to the servers over the Internet using VPN or UPnP proxies has recently been proposed, but an user authentication for these services still require users to operate computers to send their identities. Our method does not require users to input any information on the appliances and thus can be easily used over the DLNA client and provides consistent interface for home appliance users. Moreover, since we use a mobile phone to authenticate users, it is safe to be used even in the remote location. We show operations of the method using a simple prototype system.
