Recently, fast car ferries of catamaran type have become larger and larger. In beam waves, motion of catamaran is relatively severe because of its large stability. Therefore, in beam waves, tilt or turn over of cars is concerned for such catamarans. If relationship between wave height and tilt of cars is clarified, safety voyage without lashing will be able to judge before sailing from port.A method of judgment of tilt of cars on deck was proposed by Kuwano. In this method, however, only rolling motion is taken into account. It is necessary to take other motions into account for higher precision of the judgment of tilt of cars on deck. A new method considering heave, sway and pitch as well as roll motion is developed in the present paper. Model experiments to check out the relevance of the new method and the effect of motions except rolling on behavior of vehicles on decks are carried out.The method is applied to a 112m wave piercing catamaran, and criteria of wave height for tilt of vehicles on decks are predicted.The predicted results demonstrate the effects of other motions except rolling are significant in some cases. It is confirmed that the most critical wave period of tilt of vehicles on decks of the wave piercing catamaran is about 6.0 to 8.0 seconds.

An experimental investigation on the transverse porpoising instability of a planning craft in drifting motion at high advance speeds in calm water is carried out. Some types of transverse porpoising are observed in measuring motions in oblique towing tests under heave, pitch and roll free condition. In order to clarify the influence of hydrodynamic forces on the transverse porpoising, captive model tests in oblique towing condition are carried out. The experiments are carried out by systematically changing trim angle, drift angle, towing speed and draft. From the measured hydrodynamic forces, the restoring forces and moments of heave, roll and pitch are calculated. The results show that the coupling restoring coefficients between heave and pitch have the different sign each other(∂F_z/∂θ>0, ∂M_y/∂z<0)and the coupling restoring coefficients between heave and roll also have the different sign each other (∂F_z/∂ψ>0, ∂M_x/∂z<0)at large drift angle. The results suggest that the transverse porpoising considering in the present paper may be a self-excited phenomena in a coupling motion among roll, pitch and heave.

平安末期または鎌倉初期に,『源氏物語』愛読者により,「夢の浮橋」の巻後日譚として創作されたのが,「山路の露」である。文章は至って流麗。『源氏物語』に精通した読者の筆になる作品であって,近時「世尊寺伊行」の女「建礼門院右京大夫」を,その作者とする説が提出されている。本注釈は流布本(『続群書類従』物語部所収)を底本にし,「補記」の頂にいささか重みを置いた。本稿に収めた各段の梗概は次ぎのごとくである。髪をおろした浮舟を前に,乳母子の右近は胸のうちを涙ながらに語り,いかなる折にも,決して姫君に遅れまいと心にきめていたものをと,尽きることのない深い悲しみに泣きくずれるのであった(二十八 五重)。右近から薫の愛情の深さに聞くにつけ,浮舟は薫・匂宮という二人の男性の間をゆれ動いたわが心のうちを思い見,これも前世からの報いであったのだと,しみじみ悟るのである(二十九 人目)。いよいよ下山するに至って,浮舟の母は娘を都に連れて帰ろうと言う。だが,浮舟は今更の思いがして帰京の話にのって来ない(三十 客人)。

In the design process of a passenger ship, ship owners try to improve the seakeeping quality of a ship by changing ship hull shape and size, or by installing additional anti-motion apparatuses, like a fin stabilizer, an anti-rolling tank, a ride control system or an anti-pitching fin. Such improvements usually coat the ship owners. They consider the merit and the demerit of each choice carefully, and then decide which way is the best one from the point of view of operation and economics. In this paper, an evaluation method of seakeeping quality from the economical point of view is proposed. The method is divided into three parts ; prediction of ship motions in waves, prediction of vomiting ratio of MSI(Motion Sickness Incidence)of passengers on the ship, and prediction of increases of share of demand for the ship due to improvement of the vomiting ratio. The evaluation method is applied to two domestic routes in Japan.

本研究では、子どもたちの豊かな発想を生かしながら、「深い学び」や「創造的な学び」を導く社会科授業の実現を目指し、歴史授業の実践事例を対象として、学習過程にデザイン思考を取り入れることの有効性と課題について検討した。実践事例の分析から、追究活動・交流活動やジグソー学習を組み込んだ授業において、それらの学習構造にダブルダイヤモンド・モデルの発散と収束の要素が見られることを確認した。

先天性副腎過形成による副腎性器症候群は女性においては男性化徴候と卵巣機能不全による不妊症とを特徴とする疾患である.<br>最近われわれは原発性無月経, 外性器異常などを主訴とする症例に内分泌学的検索をはじめとする諸検索を行ないC-21-OH・lase障害による先天性副腎過形成と診断した.<br>形成的に陰核部分切除術を施行後, glucocorticoid療法をprednisolonc 20 mg perdayにて開始した. 治療開始後3週間で整調排卵性周期が確立し, 2ヵ月後には妊娠に成功した. しかし初回妊娠は17週で自然流産に終った.<br>3年後再び妊娠し順調な経過ののち経膣的に正常女児を得た. 本疾患における妊娠分娩例, 特に経膣分娩例は稀なため報告する.

The Nagoya District Public Prosecutor's Office has decided not to indict four employees of China Airlines who were suspected of professional negligence in the 1994 crash at Nagoya Airport that claimed 246 lives. Prosecutors said that they believe successive operational mistakes by pilot A, 42, and copilot B, 26, led to the disaster. Both A and B were killed in the crash of the Airbus A300-600R on April 26, 1994. Prosecutors allege that the pilot and copilot made successive operational errors over eight stages, including mistakenly aborting a landing approach and then manually forcing a landing while the autopilot was in the abort-landing mode. The pilot's manual warns that attempts to interfere with the autopilot during a landing could result in a sudden steep ascent of the aircraft and dangerous loss of speed. "If the pilot and copilot had had basic operational skills, they could have avoided" the crash by correcting the aircraft's position during one of the eight stages, prosecutors said. "There is insufficient evidence to file charges against the four officials as the airline's crew training and qualification system was not inferior to those of other airlines", prosecutors said. In September 1996, police sent to prosecutors their investigation reports on the six CAL employees, including a former vice president of CAL who was in charge of safety measures at the time. In this article, the author introduces and analyzes a new type of administrative and supervisory negligent liability.

パワーデバイスにおける半導体チップと絶縁基板の電気的配線は、現在アルミワイヤーによる ワイヤーボンディングが主流であるが、半導体パッケージの小型化,薄型化,大容量化にともなう 電流密度及び熱密度の増大により、新たな配線方法が必要になってきている。我々は、ワイヤーボンディングに代わる新たな配線方法としてリードフレーム配線を用い、その放熱効果を温度実測と電気-熱連成解析により検討を行ったので報告する。
