1 0 0 0 OA 科学研究のベンチマーキング2011 -論文分析でみる世界の研究活動の変化と日本の状況-

研究活動結果の公表媒体である学術論文(以下、論文)に着目し、我が国の科学研究のベンチマーキングを行った。個別指標(論文数、Top10%補正論文数、被引用数)と、複合指標(論文数に対するTop10%補正論文数の占める度合、相対被引用度)により、日本の状況を分野ごとに、主要国との比較を行った。また、日本については、部門別・組織区分別での分析を加え、日本内部の論文産出構造の時系列変化を明らかにした。その結果、①日本全体の論文数が伸び悩みの状態であること、②日本国内でみると産業の論文数が低下し、論文に関する大学の役割が拡大しているが、国立大学の論文数は伸び悩んでいること、③研究の国際化に伴い世界で国際共著論文が急増しているが、日本はこの変化に充分対応出来ていないという問題点が浮かび上がった。

A 29-year-old man had been treated for hypertension for 10 years. He suffered from speech disturbance caused by cerebral infarction, and further examinations were performed. Computerized tomography scan and magnetic resonance imaging revealed a left adrenal tumor 6 cm in size. The radioisotope (MIBG) accumulated in the left adrenal gland. The serum noradrenalin levels were high. Thus, the diagnosis of pheochomocytoma in left adrenal tumor was made. He noticed ejaculation disturbance 5 days after starting administration of doxazosin at the dose of 3 mg/day for pre-operative blood pressure control. Sperm was observed in the urine sampling obtained after masturbation, thus his ejaculation disturbance was considered to be retrograde ejaculation. Laparoscopic left adrenalectomy was performed. After the operation, his blood pressure normalized and the administration of doxazosin has not been necessary. He could perform ejaculation without any trouble after stopping doxazosin intake. The bladder neck conditions measured by ultrasonography were the same before and after the administration of doxazosin. The present case is a very rare case of ejaculation disturbance caused by non-selective alpha 1 blocker doxazosin.

We studied about development of putting on socks action performed by a patient with paralytic symptom in rehabilitation of ADL. Our purpose is to reveal what information are available to relearn and improve the action. Especially, it is important how he organized many movement into whole process of action and what patterns of action were used and selected, because we can find in these developmental aspects what information were explored and used to coordinate segments of body. We analyzed 5 videotaped actions over 6 months in these ways : time, number of sub-actions, organization of action process, variation of action patterns. Time decreased gradually, but number of sub-actions didn't correspond to it. Organization of action process and variation of patterns showed that the patient explored posture supporting trunk and manipulation simultaneously and change of such posture varied some kinds of manipulation. These results suggest that putting on socks is based on this basic posture ('simultaneous posture') and it is source of generating new patterns of actions.

A framed knot with an integral coefficient determines a simply-connected 4-manifold by 2-handle attachment. Its boundary is a 3-manifold obtained by Dehn surgery along the framed knot. For a pair of such Dehn surgeries along distinct knots whose results are homeomorphic, it is a natural problem: Determine the closed 4-manifold obtained by pasting the 4-manifolds along their boundaries. We determine the complete list (set) of pairs of integral surgeries along distinct torus knots whose resulting manifolds are orientation preserving/reversing homeomorphic lens spaces, and study the closed 4-manifolds constructed as above. The list consists of five sequences. All framed links and Kirby calculus are indexed by integers. As a bi-product, some sequences of embeddings of lens spaces into the standard 4-manifolds are constructed.
