In this report, we deal with statistical analysis for resistance of high speed ship forms in still water.Ship forms are classified into two types, i. e. naked hull with bow dome and without bow dome.Multiple regression equations for residual resistance are obtained by regression analysis on results of resistance test. And also, multiple regression equations for wetted surface area are obtained.Using these formulae, it will be able to estimate easily effective horse power over a wide range of speed.Estimation formulae are very available when designed, and in the future there is a possibility of finding the direction to improve ship forms.

欧州を中心に発展してきた, いわゆる短縮歯列を治療のゴールとする考え方 (Shortened dental arch concept) に関し, 患者を用いた臨床研究の文献考察を行った.研究対象となった短縮歯列患者の多くは機能的, 審美的に満足のいくもので, 経年的な研究でもその咬合状態は安定しており, 治療のゴールの1つの選択肢となり得るものであった.しかし, これまでの研究は特定の患者群 (大学病院への来院患者) における, ある一定のパターンの歯列が対象であるため, 今後より大きなサンプルを扱った, 多施設共同臨床研究での長期にわたる研究が待たれる.

"Jichitai-shi" are histories edited by local governments. After the Second World War, most local governments have edited their own local histories and have built up skill in this area. Nonetheless, from the 1970s onward there was criticism that citizens were absent from the local histories and that they represented only the interests of the local bureaucracy. Histories have been debating how citizen participation could be increased and how citizens could be encourage to read these local histories. This paper is a reevaluation of local histories from a sociological standpoint and describes the efforts of historians to increase citizen participation in the creation of local histories.

強迫観念と多幸症とを並べて比べるのはむずかしい。どちらもあまり関係がない症状だからである。しいていえば強迫観念の訴えには悲観的の気分がただよつているし,多幸症は楽観そのものだから,その点で全く対比的であるといえばいえるであろう。しかし,強迫観念は神経症だけにみられるに反し,多幸症はいろいろの精神病に際してあらわれる症状であり,そのあらわれかたや処置のしかたもちがうし,すべての点で比較できない様な相違がある。これらの症状をのべて,その取扱いかたにふれてみよう。
