本研究は、マッチングアプリの利用経験とリスクのある性交経験との関連を検討することと、マッチングアプリ利用の心理的背景を検討することを目的としたWebパネル調査を行った。調査対象は、18 - 29 歳の484 名(男性239名、女性245名)であった。分析の結果、男女ともに恋人がいる人との性交、恋人以外の人との性交、見知らぬ人との性交の経験といったリスクのある性交経験は、アプリ利用経験がある場合に多かった。また、男性では金銭を支払った性交が、女性では既婚者との性交、首締めなどの危険な性交、金銭を受け取った性交、性病の感染経験が、アプリ利用経験がある場合に多かった。心理特性については、アプリ利用経験がある人は、賞賛獲得欲求やぬくもり希求の得点が高かった。これらの結果から、マッチングアプリの利用経験とリスクのある性交との関連について議論した。

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between attachment needs toward an ex-partner and transition of stage of relationship dissolution. People who experienced relationship dissolution within the previous year that was initiated by their ex-partner were eligible for this study. Based on the results of the latent rank theory, the participants were divided into three ranks. Results of the multiple logit model suggested that the selective probability of rank 3 to rank 2 was associated among attachment needs toward ex-partner, attachment anxiety, remorsefully attitude of ex-partner, and selective probability of rank 2 to rank 1 was associated with attachment needs toward the ex-partner and a sincere attitude of the ex-partner. These results showed that attachment needs toward an ex-partner is an important factor for the transition to stage of romantic dissolution similar to attachment style.

The purpose of this study was to determine the causal relationship between Attachment Anxiety and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). Several studies have showed that Attachment Anxiety increases IPV, but most of them were cross-sectional studies. Therefore, it is unclear whether Attachment Anxiety or IPV is an antecedent factor. Thus, we conducted two longitudinal studies of couples in romantic and marital relationships. In Study 1, a 6-month longitudinal survey was conducted on 392 young adults who were currently involved in a romantic relationship. In Study 2, a 2-year longitudinal survey was conducted on 412 married young and middle-aged adults. The results of structural equation modeling with a cross-lagged effect model showed that Attachment Anxiety predicted increases of later IPV in both types of relationships. These results are discussed in terms of adult attachment theory and IPV prevention.

This study was conducted to reveal the commonalities and differences between the effects of attachment anxiety and narcissism on adjustment. Therefore, the hypothetical models in which both attachment anxiety and narcissism affect intrapersonal and interpersonal adjustment through senses of acceptance and rejection by other people and partners were examined. Participants were 580 undergraduates in Study 1 and 582 couples aged between their twenties and their fifties in Study 2. The results showed that both attachment anxiety and narcissism increased aggression toward other people and partners as low interpersonal adjustment, and these effects toward aggression were mediated by senses of acceptance by other people and partners. In addition, attachment anxiety increased depression as low intrapersonal adjustment, but narcissism inhibited depression, and these effects were mediated by senses of acceptance by other people and partners.

本研究は,大学生がアルバイトを行うことによって精神的健康と修学にどのような影響を受けるのかについて検討した。研究1では,大学生284名を対象に,アルバイト就労と抑うつとの関連を検討した。決定木分析の結果,心理的負荷のかかる出来事(職場での人間関係のトラブルやサポート源の消失)の方が深夜勤務よりも抑うつへのリスクが高いことが示された。研究2では,大学生324名を対象に,アルバイト就労と修学との関連について検討した。決定木分析の結果,アルバイト就労による授業等の欠席および期末試験期間中のアルバイト就労が修学困難に対するリスク要因となることが明らかとなった。本研究の結果から,大学生が修学に支障を来すにいたるまでのプロセスには,(a)アルバイト中に心理的負荷のかかる出来事を経験することで精神的不調になり修学困難に至る,(b)深夜勤務による睡眠不足や疲労の蓄積が大学への出席に支障を来すことで修学困難に至るという2つの存在が示唆された。

本研究では,恋愛関係への接近・回避コミットメントが恋愛関係における感情経験に与える影響を検討した。異性愛カップル91組を対象とした質問紙調査によって得られたペアデータを用い,個人内過程,個人間過程,パートナー調整効果を検討するため,行為者-パートナー相互依存性調整モデル(actor-partner interdependence moderation model: APIMoM)による分析を行った。その結果,個人内過程において,男女ともに,個人の接近コミットメントが感情バランスをポジティブにした。また,接近コミットメントが弱い場合に,回避コミットメントが感情経験をネガティブにした。個人間過程では,男性の接近コミットメントが女性の感情経験をポジティブにした。さらに,パートナー調整効果については,男性の接近コミットメント×女性の回避コミットメントが男性の感情経験と関連し,女性の接近コミットメント×男性の回避コミットメントが女性の感情経験と関連した。これらの結果について,接近・回避コミットメントが促進しうる行動や相互作用の観点から考察を行った。

本研究の目的は,新型コロナウイルス感染症(COVID-19)の流行によって,夫婦の相互依存性がどのように変化したかを検討することであった。分析対象は,2017年2月から2020年10月までの7時点縦断調査に回答した夫婦289組であった。スプライン成長モデルによる分析の結果,関係満足度や接近コミットメントは,夫婦ともにCOVID-19の流行までは減少していたが,COVID-19の流行後に妻では増加傾向を示し,夫では変化しなくなった。一方,回避コミットメントは,夫婦ともに,COVID-19の流行までは増加しており,COVID-19の流行後にさらに増加していた。また,COVID-19後の傾きと世帯収入や在宅時間の増加との関連を検討したものの,これらの間に関連は示されなかった。以上の結果から,COVID-19の流行は,収入やCOVID-19の流行による生活の変化に関わらず,夫婦の相互依存を強める機会になったことが示唆された。

The purpose of this study was to translate the Experience of Close Relationship-Relationship Structure (ECRRS) and evaluate its validity. In study 1 (N = 982), evidence based internal structure (factor structure, internal consistency, and correlation among sub-scales) and evidence based relations to other variables (depression, reassurance seeking and self-esteem) were confirmed. In study 2 (N = 563), evidence based on internal structure was reconfirmed, and evidence based relations to other variables (IWMS, RQ, and ECR-GO) were confirmed. In study 3 (N = 342), evidence based internal structure (test-retest reliability) was confirmed. Based on these results, we concluded that ECR-RS was valid for measuring adult attachment style.

The term sociosexuality is used to describe individual differences in people’s willingness to engage in uncommitted sexual relationships. The authors developed the revised Sociosexual Orientation Inventory in Japanese (SOI-J) to assess sociosexuality. In addition, we examined the effect of sociosexuality on flirting behaviors. In study 1 and study 2, we translated the revised Sociosexual Orientation Inventory into Japanese and confirmed its reliability and validity. The results of study 3 showed that male sociosexuality had an effect on male and female flirting behaviors. On the other hand, the results showed that female sociosexuality had no effect on male and female flirting behaviors. These results suggest that relationship initiation is controlled by females.

This study focuses on perceived functions of studying for the high school entrance examination and investigates the effect of these functions on individual differences in academic performance and depressive mood. In the prestudy, 325 potential items concerning the functions were obtained from 93 students (35 boys, 58 girls) in the 9th grade during the high school examination period. In the primary study, 311 students (163 boys, 148 girls) in the 9th grade participated in the questionnaire survey. The result of factor analysis revealed five potential functions: improving academic behaviors, enhancing a sense of competitiveness, analyzing one’s level of understanding, considering a career goal, and enhancing a sense of time constraint. The results of the multiple regression analysis indicated that the function of the analyzing one’s level of understanding and enhancing a sense of competitiveness were positively correlated, and the considering a career goal was negatively correlated with academic performance. The results also showed that the enhancing a sense of time constraint was positively correlated and the improving academic behaviors were negatively correlated with depressive mood.

本研究の目的は,マッチングアプリ利用の心理的背景を検討することであった。調査対象は,インターネットパネルから抽出された390名であった。男女別に人口統計学的変数(恋人の有無,職業の有無)や心理変数(自尊心,賞賛獲得欲求,拒否回避欲求,孤独感,ぬくもり希求)が,リスクのある性行為への願望と関連し,アプリ利用と関連するという過程を想定し,構造方程式モデリングによる分析を実施した。その結果,3つの主たる結果が得られた。第1に,男女ともに,恋人がいない人や有職者のアプリ利用経験が多かった。第2に,男性において,自尊心や賞賛獲得欲求,拒否回避欲求はリスクのある性行為願望と関連するが,アプリ利用との直接的な関連は示さなかった。これらの心理変数の中でも,賞賛獲得欲求については,リスクのある性行為への願望と関連し,アプリ利用と関連する有意な媒介効果が示された。第3に,女性において,拒否回避欲求の低さやぬくもり希求の高さは,アプリ利用と直接的な関連を示した。以上の結果から,男女ともに,主に社会人が異性との出会いの場としてマッチングアプリを利用していることや,男女でアプリ利用の背景が異なる可能性が示された。

This study investigated posttraumatic stress symptoms and posttraumatic growth among 534 fire fighters who were dispatched to the disaster area following the Great East Japan Earthquake. Specifically, we investigated the effect of acute stress symptoms and social support from peers and family on posttraumatic stress symptoms, depression, and posttraumatic growth one year after being dispatched. We found that dispatched fire fighters experienced posttraumatic growth as well as posttraumatic stress symptoms following disaster work. Moreover, social support from peers was positively associated with professional growth as a disaster worker, whereas social support from family positively associated with gratitude. These results imply that it is useful to take into consideration supporting the posttraumatic growth of fire fighters as an opportunity for professional growth with respect to stress management programs as well as relieving posttraumatic symptoms with early intervention.

離婚後の単独親権の日本で、離婚後、共同養育を実現するために,1日本の家族意識調査、2日本の面会交流の実態調査、3離婚の共同養育、離婚観などに対する国際比較調査(日本・米国・韓国)を実施した。以上の調査から、日本の伝統的な家族意識や離婚に対する偏見意識が共同養育への意識に否定的影響を与えること、面会交流は両親の紛争により中断されやすいこと、共同養育に対する否定的意識は韓国、日本、アメリカの順に高いことなどが明らかになった。これらの結果に基づいて、米国の離婚後の親教育プログラムを改訂し行政と連携して実施した。

本研究の目的は,恋愛関係における接近コミットメントと回避コミットメントを測定する尺度を作成し,その信頼性と妥当性を検討することであった。接近コミットメントは“関係継続によって生じる報酬への接近目標”と定義され,回避コミットメントは“関係崩壊によって生じる罰からの回避目標”と定義された。サンプル1では133名,サンプル2では136名の恋人のいる調査参加者を対象に調査を行った。探索的因子分析では接近コミットメントと回避コミットメントの2因子が抽出され,十分な内的一貫性が確認された。確認的因子分析では,一因子構造よりも二因子構造の適合度が高かった。さらに,投資モデル尺度,BIS・BAS尺度,ECR-GO, IOSとの関連を検討した結果,接近・回避コミットメント尺度はそれぞれの尺度との間に理論的に予測される関連を示した。これらの結果から,接近・回避コミットメント尺度には一定の妥当性があることが確認された。
