In budou, effective hit is chiefly judged to the opponent by umpire's eyes. The shock speed of the tool going up as athlete's skill improved and judging only by umpire's eyes became difficult. As a result, the possibility of causing the misjudgment has risen. If the judging standard can be quantified, and there is a system that can easily judge effective hit, it can use not only the misjudgment prevention but also to practice shock, and is useful for a further improvement of the skill. The judgment method of assuming sports chanbara to be an example in the main discourse and using the gyro sensor and the system that had achieved it were constructed. Moreover, the validity of the effective hit judgment system that achieved it was verified by the experiment.

We are facing to the problem how to meet with the increasing energy supply demand, but also the decreasing greenhouse gases. The take off the renewable energy is necessary to satisfy the both requirements. Wind energy and ocean energy is useful energy in development. The drive train of the power take off should be improved. The conventional drive train is usually mechanical transmission. Hydrostatic drive system is a useful power take off system. In this paper some references and the development of hydrostatic drive system are introduced.

The colonoscope is widely employed for cure of a large intestinal disease. However, the medical accidents such as large intestines perforation by an immature doctor is still increase, because insertion operation of the colonoscope is highly skillful. To solve this problem, We think that development of a training device is effective. We aim to verify whether the porcine large intestines are able to become substitute as the human large intestines. The tensile experiment and the punch experiment were conducted on 243 samples of 14 pigs. The tensile experiment showed that stress at break was 0.20±0.08MPa, and strain at break was 0.51±0.24, and Young's modulus was 0.42±0.22MPa, and the poisson ratio was 0.71±0.22. Imitative endoscope extended the porcine large intestines forward perpendicular direction from the surface. The results showed the porcine large intestines were perforated by 11.9±2.8N. All results showed that porcine large intestines were able to become substitute of human large intestines.

In movable bodies, such as vehicles, grounding cannot be taken outside during movement. For the reason, it was difficult to carry out short-distance communication using the car itself, or to detect electric field change which occurs between a road surface and a car. In this research, by making them act geometrically using two or more electrodes, a possibility that virtual standard potential would be generable on a movable body was found out, the standard potential device named the "smart reference" was made as an experiment, and the principle check was carried out.

The small flight robot which made a flapping of wings the model is manufactured. Some kinds of mechanisms of a flapping of wings are examined, wings area is changed, and lift is measured. Furthermore, paying attention to the size and form of a lattice of wings, it analyzes using finite element method using the piece model of an examination manufactured by 3DCAD about lateral bending, longitudinal bending, and torsional.

In this paper, we present prototype robot to replicate features of dragonfly flight. We have observed and revealed characteristics of dragonfly flight in lifting, cruising, and hovering. With flapping fore and hind wings out of phase, we have achieved sustained flight with our dragonfly prototype. We present overview of observation, flapping mechanism, experimental setups, and experimental results.

Recently, solving vibration problems in the prediction step is strongly required to shorten the development time. The purpose of this research is to clarify and improve vibration characteristics of products such as sporting goods by experiment and calculation. A familiar tennis racket was chosen and its vibration characteristics were investigated by actual impact test and experimental modal analysis. It was clarified that the largest vibration was generated at the first mode. Structural optimization of the simplified plate could diminish the peak by shifting the node of the mode to the excitation response point. Design variables were the masses given to the circumference or the thickness of elements.

We have simultaneously measured both the explicit movement of palms and the implicit movement of the whole body in the hand contact improvisation. And, we also have compared and analyzed the difference of the measurements between the time when the sympathetic embodied awareness is being generated and when it is not. We have obtained the following results from the comparison and the analysis under the condition that the self-other inseparable relationship is being created through the sympathetic embodied awareness between two persons. First, the implicit movement comes before that of the explicit. Second, the time when those movements occur corresponds between the two persons. Furthermore, chaos attractor is generated within the movements of hands, and there exists a rhythm of a cycle variation for a few to ten seconds. These results suggest that the space-time structure of the inner self changes through the bodily expression. It is expected that this will be an important clue to clarify the dynamics of "Ba" in the co-creative expression.

A redundantly actuated 3 degree of freedom (xyθ) planar parallel link mechanism (PLM) with back-flip motion is proposed. The back-flip means that the end plate of the PLM has working area of 180 degrees or more. It aims at the table mechanism of multi-axes machine tools. In this paper, the condition and the working area to do the back-flip are defined. In addition, singular configuration and stiffness are analyzed by using the kinematics of the PLM. By applying numerical analyses, it has been revealed that the back-flip motion can be achieved stably (not singularity) over the working area excluding the upper limit.

<p>Some of handmade Japanese paper in a unique process to a state the wet paper before the drying process , high value-added Danshi is manufactured. Currently, Danshi in Ehime Prefecture, has accounted for more than half of the Danshi production volume of the whole country. However, on the verge of successor shortage also coupled survive. Therefore, we focused on the brush of judgment in Danshi production that is currently handed down in Shuso district of Ehime Prefecture, the operation of skilled person is going to unconsciously ie tacit knowledge, the difference of the physical behavior of the non-expert and, do the interviews about them, this time, focusing on the movement of the wrist of a brush of judgment to make a "clean grain" of the skilled person, an attempt was made to clarify the knack. As a result, the angle of the wrist that eventually converge to 155 [deg], the wrist is the load that the wet paper in which the amplitude at 10 [Hz] and disconnect the power to the vibration of the 20 [deg] since revealed, such as it is doing a brush of judgment is not applied, to report.</p>

It is necessary to understand the vibratory properties of a track and a wheel in order to evaluate the rolling noise. In this paper, focusing on the vibration of a wheel, we measured the accelerance of the corrugated wheel by the impact test. Then accelerometers were temporarily placed on the tire and web of the wheel of a vehicle which runs on a narrow gauge, we have measured the acceleration of the rolling wheel. In addition, we reported the vibratory properties of a wheel with a wheel flat and passing a turnout.

<p>These days, the number of traffic accidents due to drivers' sudden diseases is increasing. Therefore, it is desired to detect sudden diseases by making use of drivers' biological signals measured while driving. To detect such diseases, we need to know how biological signals change with the disorders. However, it is difficult to measure physiological signals at sudden diseases and propose the method for detecting such conditions. In this study, we construct a cardiovascular model which can reproduce mechanism of a cardiovascular system, and calculate biological signals by assuming sudden diseases in the model. In the cardiovascular model, stroke volume, the blood volume pumped by a heart per beat, is determined based on the operating conditions of the system. Besides, we considered positions of baroreceptors and pressure sensors of a cardiac system in blood vessels. Then, we succeed to construct detection method for sudden diseases based on the calculated biological signals. We use K-nearest method and LOF method for a detection algorithm and found that combination of systolic blood pressure and heartbeat interval is adequate for detection, and LOF method is useful for the discrimination of disease.</p>
