LUCA, the last universal common ancestor, is the hypothetical most recent common ancestor of the three domains of life which share the universal genes (UG). It seems interesting to evaluate whether the UG phylogeny has had an impact on current Human gene constraints. A list of human homologs of UG was retrieved from the eggNOG database. We analyzed this LUCA gene (LG) group, and a random sample of 500 genes from the gnomAD database (RG group). Gene constraint metrics were retrieved from gnomAD and associations with Mendelian diseases and modes of inheritance were retrieved from OMIM. The LG group consisted of 277 genes and the RG group, 492 (8 genes were in LG group). 38.6% of the genes in the LG group and 25.2% of the genes in the RG group were associated with a Mendelian disease (p < 0.0001). The mode of inheritance was more often autosomal recessive (69.0 vs. 50.5%), and less often autosomal dominant (19.0 vs. 31.3%), or mixed (6.0 vs. 12.1%) for those associated with the LG group (p = 0.048). The LG group was significantly more constrained for missense variants (MOEUF, 0.919 vs. 0.997, p < 0.0001) and was borderline significantly more constrained for loss-of-function variants (LOEUF, 0.872 vs. 0.947, p = 0.051). These results suggest that the UG in humans differs from the rest of the genome in terms of constraints and associated Mendelian diseases. It suggests that phylogenic data can explain some of the characteristics of human genes and could help in interpreting variants.

本稿は、中国現代演劇、現代文学の双方を代表する劇作家である曹禺が劇作の処女作であり代表作の一つである『雷雨』を 24 歳で発表するまでの劇作家としての成長過程を、彼が中学時代(日本の中学、高校双方を含む)に参加した南開新劇団での活動を中心に考察したものである。1.はじめに、2.曹禺の家庭環境、2.曹禺幼少年期の文化環境、4.南開学校と南開新劇団、5.南開学校での曹禺、その文学的成長、その文学的成長、6.曹禺と南開新劇団、7.『争強』を巡って、8.南開新劇団の活動が曹禺に与えた影響、の 8 項目に分けて記述した。特に、 曹禺の文化素養の重層性とイプセンやゴールズワージの影響を強調した。CAO Yu is a playwright who represents both modern Chinese drama and literature. CAO Yu announced his work, Thunderstorm, by the age of 24. Thunderstorm is the debut work of his career and one of his masterpieces. This paper considers his growth as a playwright, and focuses on the activities at Nankai New Drama Company, where he participated during his junior high and high school days. The paper is organized in the following way: 1. Introduction; 2. CAO’s family background; 2. CAO’s caltural background; 4. Nankai school and Nankai New Drama Company; 5. The influence of CAO’s activities at Nankai school on his literary growth; 6. CAO Yu and the Nankai New Drama Company; 7. around Strife; 8. The influence of Nankai New Drama Company on CAO Yu. In particular, the multi-layered nature of CAO’s culture and Ibsen and Galsworthy's influence on his work are emphasized.

新自由主義の自助努力重視の路線に対して、社会福祉拡充の根拠を探ってみたい。社会福祉の意義としては、第1に、最低生活を維持する権利を保障するための制度という点、第2に、階級対立を緩和しようとした国による保護という点、第3は、政府が支える公助としての社会福祉という点に意義がある。社会福祉の必要性の第1は、産業化の進展に伴う社会の機能的な空白を埋めるということである。第2は、人権保障上の配慮をするために必要となる。第3は、事業者側に注目し、医療や心理と連携した福祉のモデルなどを普及・定着させるためには、政策的に補助金等によって誘導することが必要である。第4の必要性として、労働力確保のために女性の就労率を高めることが挙げられる。社会福祉の第1の役割として、権利保障を挙げる。第2の役割として、政府の方針に沿った方向として補完性原理の実践をあげる。第3の役割は社会福祉法の理念の実現である。
