There are two methods for rice crop drying in Japan, on bars and on ground. The drying method on ground, called Jiboshi in Japan, is universal in all Southeast Asia area, and the drying method on bars, called Inekake, is original in Japan.Distribution of types and local names of Inekake in Japan is made clear in this paper, which suggests the propagation process of Inekake method.It originated in Kinki district and spread to east and west. In the snowy land on the Japan Sea side, it transformed to higher one. In northeastern Japan, a new type, pile method called Kuiboshi, was invented.In Kyushu the Inekake is spreading slowly, but climatical condition and traditional tendency permit to resist the penetration of Inekake.

The Clothoid is a curve which has linearly changing curvature in relation to the length of the curve. By choosing the curve as the interpolating curve between freely given 2-dimensional point series, we can obtain a smooth free curve. In this report a practical method of Clothoidal interpolation, called "tangent method", is mentioned. The algorithm of the method is derived and some examples are shown.

【背景】血液型がO型の患者は第 VIII 凝固因子, von Willebrand Factorが低値で, 術中出血の多い可能性が報告されている. 当院手術患者の過去10年間の傾向を調べた.【方法】麻酔データベースから症例を抽出し, 年齢, 性別, 身長, 体重, 手術時間のほか, 非O型あるいはO型かで多変量解析を実施した. また, 下位解析として, 幽門側胃切除, 単純子宮全摘術, 股関節人工関節置換術, 帝王切開術の症例を抽出し, 出血量の差異を検討した.【結果】15,857例について検討したところ, 年齢 (回帰係数: -0.63g/yr) , 性別 (女性で回帰係数+62g/sex) , 体重 (+2.1g/kg) , 手術時間 (+85g/hr) が有意な寄与因子として選択された. 血液型は下位解析を含めたいずれの検討においても有意な説明変量とはならなかった.【結論】O型でも出血量は臨床的に差異がないと考えられた.

When a robot is used for doing work such as laser processing or water-jet processing, not only the trajectory of the end-effector but also its velocity is very important from the viewpoint of the processing accuracy. On the other hand, several curve-interpolation methods have been suggested, but it is cannot be said with certainty that the correct velocity control of the trajectory is possible. In this study, in order to solve this problem, a method using the clothoidal curve is introduced, and this method enables the velocity control with high accuracy for any trajectory.

It is important to eliminate the backlash and to reduce inertia for high accuracy linear motion system. For this reason, the trochoid cam rack has been developed. The profile undercut must be avoided to satisfy the required performance. So this rack profile is ground using trochoid curve loci. In this report, the motion principle has been analyzed, and it becomes clear that there is the optimal value of rack profile offset factor which affects on pressure angle and radius of curvature. Also, roller diameter and tooth height affects on those characteristics. The optimal cam rack without profile undercut is designed using the selected each design factor. The prototype cam rack system using optimal design value is made and tested. It is proved that the system has high positioning accuracy without backlash.

カム輪郭の最小曲率半径は使用するカム曲線, ストローク比, その他の因子によって微妙に変化する.与えられた条件のもとでの最小曲率半径の値を, 簡単な式によって, できるだけ正確に推定することが必要である.本報においては, 直動従節および揺動従節の直進カムおよび円筒カムについて最大曲率あるいは最小曲率半径の値を推定する近似式をいくつか提示した.これらの式による近似値の精度は各種のカム曲線について, 実用的な条件の範囲内で, 真値の80〜110%であることが確かめられた.特別な係数Ccを導入することによって, この精度は更に高められ, 真値の±5%となる.ここに示した方法は使用法が簡単であり, 他の方法のように莫大な量の図表を必要としない.

A newly developed Cycloid Ball Reducer is introduced and analyzed. The fundamental element of the reducer consists of three components ; two surface-grooved discs and a train of balls. One of the discs has an epicycloidal-wave groove on one side of its surface, while the other disc has a hypocycloidal-wave groove. The two grooves face each other, and between them balls are arranged in a uniform angular pitch. The balls transmit torque between the two discs. A proper amount of thrust force is applied axially to eliminate backlash. This Cycloid Ball Reducer is suitable for application to servo mechanisms and robots. It is compact and easy to build in a unit, and has a large torque capacity. In this report, the principle of the reducer is analyzed using polar complex vectors. It is proved that the reducer has linear characteristics in principle. The reduction ratio can be chosen a wide range.
