It is important that we associate with those who are not intimate with us. To clarify where contacts with these people take place, we paid attention to acquaintances of different generation for children and youth. The purpose of this article is to clarify where children and youth contact with acquaintances of different generation. The survey of this article is questionnaire to university students. This article clarified following things. Many people whom children and youth contact are considered to be "hosts of the place", who are always at the place, who cherish the place, and who play some role there. Because "hosts of the place" are always at particular place, if children and youth want to meet them, they can go there. And even if children and youth don't intend to meet them, they meet them inevitably when they go there. And many contacts with acquaintances of different generation take place not at public places but at semi-public places.

This article studies the openness of Community-Cafes by means of analysis of the narratives described by 3 masters. In this article, the openness of the place is defined as follows: It is a place where people can enter freely, but also can be and interact with other people if they want. This article clarifies 10 aspects of the openness of Community-Cafe. 3 managers have their own thought about the management, relationship and interaction. But there are many common aspects in their thought. And the relationships that the manager has formed with people enable some aspects of the openness to appear.

公開データ利用促進の任務を担う情報・システム研究機構データサイエンス共同利用基盤施設のプロジェクトの一部として,2018 年3 月13 日「第2 回人間・社会データ構造化シンポジウム」が開催された.特に,社会調査データの公開における個人情報保護等の法的規制と倫理的指針について,同施設の社会データ構造化センターの法律アドバイザーである牧野二郎弁護士により,一般公開の特別講義が行われた.講演に先立ち,同センターの研究者たちとの協議を経て,牧野総合法律事務所により講演資料が用意された.本稿は,筆者らがその資料を改稿し,シンポジウムでの討議や,2018 年5 月よりEU で施行されているGeneral Data Protection Regulation(一般データ保護規則)など関連資料やその後の推移の確認などを含め,官民学の社会調査関係者向けに概説したものである. 現実の法律の執行は,各研究者の解釈や意図とは必ずしも完全には一致しないこともあり得るが,本稿は実証的データに基づく人文社会科学の発展や政策立案を促進するための参考としてまとめた.

The new fuel cell train “Series FV-E991” is under development by JR East, and equipped with a hybrid system using the hydrogen fuel cell and storage battery as power sources. It is going to be the world’s first fuel cell train using 70MPa high-pressure hydrogen enabling longer distance running which is not possible with 35MPa hydrogen.We plan to start demonstration tests of Series FV-E991 on commercial lines from 2021FY. In these tests, we will collect data toward practical use, such as the optimization of the fuel cell technology and the investigation of the technical development items related to ground facilities.We aim at the early commercialization of high-performance and safe fuel cell train that meets the stringent standards of Japan’s railways which are principally operated in densely populated areas.

The authors carried out temperature measurement of the ground surface at the Nakadake Crater of Asosan, used an infrared radiation thermometer, and compared the twice observation results at the calm period and the eruption time of the volcano. High temperature zones in the crater bottom and the crater wall were situated at the north half part of the Nakadake Crater, and anomalous high temperature zones at the eruption time extended about ten times as large as that of the calm period. Furthermore, these anomalous high temperature values at the eruption time were 10℃ to 15℃ higher than that of the calm period. These suggest that some thermally anomalous areas in the crater may change their thermal characteristics before or at the future eruptions. The thermal infrared surveys are very useful to volcano observation for the monitoring of some potentially hazardous crater, and these surveys can be done with safety and quickness.

生産ロボットの減速機が故障すると生産ラインが長時間停止し、会社へのインパクトが大きい。これを防ぐため、減速機のセンサ値に対して閾値を用いて異常診断する方法がある。しかし誤報が多く発生するため、現場での運用が難しいという課題があった。本報告では、現場での運用できる減速機の故障予知について報告する。

The purpose of this article is to clarify residents' attitudes toward social relationships in condominiums. We conducted questionnaire to residents who live in large scale condominiums, and clarified the following things. About 75 percent of respondents seek some relationships with other residents. The respondents who have children are more satisfied with their present relationships than those who don't have children. The respondents who don't seek relationships and who regard intimate relationships as important, tend to be satisfied with their present relationships. Social relationships in the large scale condominiums are not weak, but it doesn't spread into all residents.

This article studies the formation of the purpose at Shimoshinjo-Sakuraen. A method of this article is interview to master of this Community-Cafe. This article clarified following things. The purpose of Shimoshinjo-Sakuraen is offering an opportunity of social contact to people. Participating in activity was thought to be important at this Community-Cafe at first. Now, Shimoshinjo-Sakuraen is the place where people can spend without participating in activity. This means various type of the social contact come to be permitted there and means the substance of the purpose has been formed through management of Shimoshinjo-Sakuraen.
