This paper considers the transitions in the "Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatmentof GID" , which was created by the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology. By analyzing the text of the guidelines, we observe that the current concept of gender has become less influential in representing a consistent identity model for society today.This is reflected in the following distinctions in the transitions of the guidelines in which there are five issues to be emphasized: First, gender identity is defined as being of multiple forms. Second, the approach to medical treatment is determined not only by an individual' s gender identity but also by his/ her life, world and value system. These factors explain the need for more diversity in medical treatment. Third, it is supposed that gender identity has coherence. Fourth, since diversity of gender is more emphasized, a patient's decision concerning treatment is more highly regarded than ever. And lastly, due to the extended scope of decision-making, the range of patients' self-responsibility for the risk is extended accordingly. It is evident from these guidelines that the concept of gender that has hitherto disciplined people has become weaker.However, this does not necessarily mean that society has become an ideal world.There are still various problems concerning the issue of transgenderism that must beconsidered.

In order to find out how an eco-tour in a primeval forest affects the stress, perceived physical condition and feeling of the participants, the authors organized a tour to Suigenchinomori, a primeval forest in Kawakami Village, Nara Prefecture. Results indicate changes in the participants’ stress, perceived physical condition and feeling during the tour. These three variables were measured at three points on the route. The stress of the participants decreased on average during the tour from the first to the second point, whereas from the second to the third point it increased. At the individual level the stress of two participants increased and that of the other four decreased. From the second to the third point it increased on average. At the individual level it increased with two participants and decreased with three participants, staying the same for one case. The authors plan to improve the research design based on these result, and continue the same kind of tours in order to collect more data, performing not only statistical tests to determine any general effects but also qualitative examinations on individual differences.

報道などで誹謗中傷に関する事例が取り上げられる際、インターネットの持つ 「情報の拡散」 や 「匿名性」 といった特性によって誹謗中傷問題が不特定多数に拡散・増加した、悪質化した、と指摘される傾向がある。しかし、誹謗中傷はインターネット上だけに生じる問題ではなくインターネット以外の実空間に従来から存在している問題であり、この指摘は実空間での問題が顕在化または注目されていないための相対的な評価であるとも考えられる。つまり、指摘される誹謗中傷問題の増加や悪質化が実空間からインターネット上に転移した際に特に着目されただけと考えると、「インターネットが問題」 なのかは不明瞭である。本論ではインターネットとインターネット以外の実空間における誹謗中傷問題の違いについて、情報を流通するメディアの観点から検討を進め、絶対的な指標として誹謗中傷問題の発生件数を調査した。その結果、インターネットだけではなく実空間を含んだ誹謗中傷問題の発生件数自体には増加傾向は見られないことが分かった。その上で、誹謗中傷問題の悪質化に関して、インターネットの特性による変化と実空間への影響について考察する。
