The legend of Sakura-Sōgorō, a farmer hero in the early Edo Period, is made into numerous stories which can be classified into the two series called “Sōdōki” and “Jizōdō.” Each of the series is further divided into three subgroups. Sakura-kajitsu-monogatari belongs to the subgroup C of the “Sōdōki” series. The little known text is pivotal in the development of the legend because of its humanistic treatment of the hero. Indeed Shōtei-Kinsui wrote his “yomihon” novel Chūyū-asakura-nikki under its inspiration. The article will draw a whole constellation of stories created from the legend and then explore its influence on popular fiction in the Edo Period.

The purpose of this study was to examine how well-being is associated with self-compassion and self-esteem, mediated by coping styles. Two hundred and forty-seven undergraduate students (mean age=19.37 years, SD=1.12) completed questionnaires comprised of scales measuring self-compassion, self-esteem, coping styles, and subjective well-being. Covariance structure analysis showed that (a) self-compassion was positively related to positive interpretations, and resulted in good well-being; (b) self-compassion was associated with planning positively; (c) self-esteem was positively related to well-being directly; (d) self-esteem was associated with abandonment and avoidance of responsibility negatively and catharsis positively. Finally, we discussed the different relationships between self-compassion and self-esteem with well-being.

This study examined the semantic organization of positive emotions among university and graduate students in Japan. A total of 100 participants individually sorted 132 positive-emotion words into categories using flash cards. Hierarchical cluster analysis of the sorted terms yielded a comprehensive map of the concept. We found, at the highest level of abstraction, two large distinctions: “other-oriented positive emotions” and “self-oriented positive emotions.” The former included (a) aijo (love), (b) kantan (wonder), and (c) ikei/sonkei (awe/respect), while the latter included (d) nagomi/yorokobi (peacefulness/joy), (e) ikigomi (enthusiasm), and (f) hokori (pride) at the basic level. Further, these basic categories contained 11 subordinate categories. These findings suggest that in semantic organization, positive emotions are generally classified according to the self–other dimension and that 11 subordinate categories have different features.

目的:プロ野球投手を対象にメディカルチェックを実施し,疼痛再現性評価での疼痛に関与する理学所見について検討した.対象:2004年から2016年の13年間のシーズン後に,メディカルチェックを実施した,投球時痛を訴えていないプロ野球投手191名を対象とした.方法:調査項目として,当院で利用している野球肩理学所見11項目を評価した.疼痛再現性評価のImpingement testまたはHyper external rotation test(以下HERT)にて,疼痛の再現を認めたものを疼痛群,疼痛の再現を認めなかったものを非疼痛群とし,各項目の異常率を2群間で比較,検討した.結果:疼痛群の異常率が非疼痛群と比較し,有意に高値を示した項目は,関節不安定性評価(以下LOOSE),肩甲帯機能評価のElbow extension test (以下EET),Elbow push test(以下EPT),腱板機能評価の下垂位外旋筋力(以下ER),初期外転筋力(以下SSP)であった.また,肩関節可動域評価のCombined abduction test(以下CAT),Horizontal flexion test(以下HFT)の異常率は,両群ともに高値を示し有意差は示さなかった.考察:プロ野球投手において,肩関節可動域制限は疼痛再現性評価での疼痛の有無に関わらず高頻度で認め,疼痛再現所見は肩関節可動域制限を基盤に,関節不安定性,肩甲帯機能低下,腱板機能低下といった所見が増加することで発生すると考えられた.

【序 論】 Mental rotation (以下, MR) とは, 3次元空間で自由に回転する図形が何であるのかを照合する心的活動である. リハビリテーション領域においても治療的介入手段として, MRの基礎研究・臨床応用が進められている. 身体部位を用いた回転画像を提示した時の反応時間は, 回転角度の増加に伴い遅延すると報告している. 反応時間は, 加齢やスポーツ実施などによる影響があると報告されている. このように年齢や表示角度に関するMRの関連については報告がみられているが, 視覚情報の入力に関与すると思われる眼機能 (利き目) とMRとの関係を報告した論文は少ない. したがって, 本研究では身体部位である手の回転画像を用いて, これまでに報告されてきたMR反応時間と性差, 利き手との関連に加え, 利き目の属性との関連を検討することを目的とした. 【方 法】 本研究は群馬大学倫理審査委員会により承認された. 対象は103名の健常大学生 (平均年齢20.9±2.2歳, 男性51名, 女性52名, 右利き目者59名, 左利き目者44名) であった. 課題は両手の画像が0°, 90°, 180°, 270°回転してある32枚の写真によって構成され, それらの写真がランダムにPCの画面に表示された. 被験者は画像を見て, それが右手なのか左手なのかをPCのキーを押すことで回答し, MR反応時間と回答が記録された. 統計解析は一元配置分散分析, 独立したt検定を行った . 解析には統計ソフトIBM SPSS Statistics 20を使用し, 有意水準を5%とした. 【結 果】 MR反応時間は, 回転角度の180°と0°, 90°, 270°間で有意差がみられた (p<0.05). 利き目では有意差がみられたが (p<0.05), 性別, 利き手では有意差はなかった. 【考 察】 MR反応時間は性別, 利き手ではなく利き目と関連があることが示唆された. すなわちMRに関連する情報処理過程は利き目によって異なることが示唆された.

本稿では,ラカトシュの可謬主義の見地から,数学の発展を弁証法的に解釈することの意義と課題について考察した.また,算数・数学教育において弁証法的発展を志向した授業を構想することが如何なる教育的意義を持ちうるか,前述の議論を踏まえながら検討した.そこでは,今日の算数・数学教育で重視される「数学的な考え方」の一側面や,教育課題についても触れながら,教育的意義として,先行研究で指摘されているものに加えて,⑴ 子どもの統合的な考察を促す,⑵ 教師の数学観の変容の二点を指摘した.また,具体的な学習場面についての検討から,弁証法的発展を志向した授業の構想が可能であることを示した一方で,弁証法的解釈の限界として弁証法的トリアーデでは捉えられない授業の局所的な側面があることについて指摘した.

Mixed emotions are defined as the co-occurrence of positive and negative emotions. In recent years, research has often focused on individual differences in the experience of mixed emotions. In this study, we conducted two studies to develop the Japanese version of the Trait Mixed Emotions Scale (TMES) which can assess the tendency to experience mixed emotions in daily life. Study 1 revealed that the Japanese version of TMES has certain level of internal consistency and that the pattern of correlational relationships of the Japanese version of TMES with explicit variables are consistent with previous studies and theoretical assumptions. Furthermore, Study 1 suggested that the TMES can be interpreted with three subscales. Study 2 revealed that the Japanese version of TMES has acceptable test-retest reliability and that the factor structure of TMES in Study 1 was replicated. Finally, some issues and prospects for future research on mixed emotions were discussed.

This article chronologically traces the development of the true stories of Ōshio-Heihachirō from the Edo Period to the Meiji Period to see their whole aspect in a new perspective. The stories can be classified into the following five groups; the “Naniwa-hikki” series (Naniwa-hikki, Kyōran-taihei-ki, Naniwazu-ashi-no-hanashi, and Miyo-taihei-ki), Taihei-kagami, Tenpō-naniwa-hanashi, Tenpō-taihei-ki, Shinpen-tenpō-taihei-ki. In Tenpō-naniwa-hanashi, Tenpō-taihei-ki, and Shinpen-tenpō-taihei-ki there appeared an additional episode of Heihachirō’s younger days. The narrative theme came to be more centered on the character than the rebellion. In this way Tenpō-naniwa-hanashi and Tenpō-taihei-ki became a narrative model for the modern version of Ōshio-Heihachirō stories such as Naniwa-no-ume-ōshio-banashi and Tenma-suiko-den.

The purpose of this study was to examine the direct and indirect associations of self-compassion, social support in the workplace, and job stressors with the tendency to burnout among early career physical and occupational therapists. A total of 124 physical therapists and 63 occupational therapists, who were all within their first five years of employment, participated in a web-based survey. Covariance structure analysis was used to examine the associations between the variables controlled by type of occupation. The following findings were revealed: (a) self-compassion was negatively associated with the tendency to burnout, both directly and mediated by job stressors, (b) supervisory support showed a direct negative association with depersonalization and a negative association with the tendency to burnout mediated by job stressors, and (c) support from colleagues showed a negative association with diminished personal accomplishment. We discuss that the potential for self-compassion and social support in the workplace can work effectively in preventing burnout among early career physical and occupational therapists.

Les premiers vers de Mallarme sont ceux d'un garcon qui remplit ses cahiers en revant qu'un jour il sera un poete fecond et rivalisera avec ses maitres romantiques. Sans doute connait-il ensuite Baudelaire, Poe et Banville et eprouve-t-il des crises intenses qui bouleversent sa vie litteraire et spirituelle ; il n'oublie pourtant jamais le destin et le devoir dont le romantisme charge les poetes. N'est-ce pas cette mission epique qui l'incite plus tard a pratiquer a sa facon l'interaction de l'ecriture et du siecle ou celle-ci est posee? Ce petit essai tente d'apporter une contribution a la recherche de cette lignee au moins inavouee sinon cachee : nous situons Mallarme dans la descendance de Hugo, qui l'a tant charme dans sa jeunesse et dont la mort lui a donne le sentiment que venait de s'ouvrir un <<interregne>>poetique. Partons du vers initial du poeme <<Les Fleurs>>, qui est un de ses premiers poemes publies : <<Des avalanches d'or du vieil azur [...]>>. Hugo avait ecrit un vers fort semblable dans La Legende des siecles : <<Des avalanches d'or s'ecroulaient dans l'azur>>. Ressemblance assez connue que nous reexaminerons a notre tour, en recourant aux concepts de fecondite et de sterilite. Cependant, notre intention n'est pas de reprocher a Mallarme un plagiat quelconque, mais de voir au debut de sa carriere une experience de sterilite, experiencce negative qui prepare pourtant la <<rarete>>de sa propre poesie. Nous determinerons ainsi le point qui separe non seulement les deux poetes mais aussi la poesie romantique et celle qui lui succede. Il nous sera necessaire d'etudier aussi le cas de Baudelaire, qui a approfondi l'imaginaire de la sterilite et l'a instaure au coeur meme de la poesie francaise moderne.
