Venom samples were corrected from several poisonous snakes, such as Bungarus multicinctus, Trimeresurus mucrosquamatus, T. gramineus, T. flavoviridis, and Agkistrodon acutus, and stored in a desiccator at room temperature for 25 to 31 years. Then they were compared with fresh venoms as to their biological activities. The characteristic local symptoms produced by the bite of venomous snakes of Crotalidae and Viperidae are hemorrhage, necrosis and muscular degeneration. Hemorrhagic toxins were purified from Trimeresurus mucrosquamatus, Crotalus ruber ruber, Vipera aspis aspis, and Agkistrodon acutus venoms and their biological, biochemical, and pathological properties were investigated. Arginine ester hydrolases are present in the venoms of Crotalidae and Viperidae, but are not found in the venoms of Elapidae and Hydrophiidae. In this paper we describe the enzymatic and biological activities of arginine ester hydrolases from a Trimeresurus mucrosquamatus venom.

Usually practitioner of KJ method utilizes paper labels and four-colored ball-point pens to externalize their thoughts and ideas during the process. The similar approach and method are taken in group KJ lessons. However the conventional way restricts effective capturing and sharing of outcomes due to the large paper size. Considering merits of the conventional paper-and-pen approach and the demand for quick sharing of outcomes after the session, we have designed and implemented a system to digitize the group KJ session not only the outcomes but also detailed creative work processes. We employ digital pens to capture position and orientation of labels as well as the contents written on the labels during the session. We confirmed the efficiency of our system from several KJ sessions.

本稿では, キャンパスレベルを想定したP2Pネットワークにおいて, そのネットワークに参加する各ユーザが分散して提供するサービスや共有ドキュメントを有効活用するための新たな情報検索方式を提案する.具体的には, ピアの評価, 関連キーワードの学習, ドキュメントのスコア化とそれに伴うスコア制御機能を備えることで, 各ユーザの趣向にそった情報検索を可能にする.そして, 実装したシステムを利用使用した予備実験結果を示し, 提案システムの有効性について議論する.

Human-computer interactionに関連した研究でジェスチャの認識があるが、本稿は, その中でもPCへのマウスやキーボード以外の入力手段としてのジェスチャ認識について研究したものである.このシステムは実時間処理が要求されるが, 本稿では先行研究に比べより実時間処理に適した手法を用い, さらにその手法に対して認識率を上げるための改良も行った.そして結果として, 先行研究よりも計算コストを減らし, かつ認識率を上げることが出来た.また、実際に実装することによって, このシステムがPCと安価なUSBカメラのみで容易に実現可能であることも実証できた.
