レビューは評価を目的とするため、評価・判断に関わる表現の意味・評価値を獲得するのは重要である。本研究ではオンラインカスタマーレビューを対象に評価表現の一種としてのオノマトペに着目して、それらを収集しどのような特徴が見られるかを考察する。その上で、ユーザの嗜好を感覚的に捉えてレコメンデーションに応用する手法を検討する。

本研究ではマルチエージェントシステム(MAS)の機能を向上させる手法として、実時間タスクプランニングに着目している。実時間タスクプランニングとは時々刻々と変化する環境に適応するように必要なタスク列を導出する推論技術であり、時間制約があるミッションを行うエージェントへの応用が期待される。我々は簡単なレスキュー問題についてシミュレーションを行い、MASにおける実時間タスクプランニングの有用性を示した。

近年,不正アクセスによる被害が増加傾向にある.そこで,本研究では,エッジルータ(企業や大学などの組織のネットワークとインターネットの境界に位置するルータ)を通過するパケットに対して攻撃者情報の書き込み及びそのダイジェストの保持を行うパケット監視エージェントをそのエッジルータ内に組み込み,パケット監視エージェント同士で協調し合うことで攻撃の発信源の特定に結びつくことができるシステムを構築した.

Current music recommender systems only use basic information for recommending music to its listeners. These usually include artist, album, genre, tempo and other song information. Online recommender systems would include ratings and annotation tags by other people as well. We propose a recommender system that recommends music depending on how the listener wants to feel while listening to the music. The user-specific model we use is derived by analyzing brainwaves of the subject while he was actively listening to emotion-inducing music. The brainwaves are analyzed in order to derive the emotional state of the listener for different segments of the music. Using a motif discovery algorithm, we discover pairs of similar subsequences from the emotion data and find correlations with music and audio features from the song. Similar patterns are clustered and used for recommending music that invoke a similar emotional response from the listener.

This paper first introduce a unique approach to convey meanings of culturally-specific concepts (CSCs) existing in one culture to a person coming from another culture via English as an intermediate language. The core algorithm employed is the Bayesian Model of Generalization (Tenenbaum & Griffiths, 2001). This model enables one to not only link cross-cultural CSCs but also estimate probabilities of how an information receiver generalizes a source concept in question from a given stimulus. The application of this model requires highly appropriate datasets consisting of concepts and their definitional features. In (Glückstad & Mørup, under review), an empirical study was performed with datasets obtained from a semi-automatic ontology construction method known as Terminological Ontology (TO) proposed by (Madsen et al. 2004). The results from that study indicated that particularly strict rules for constructing TOs may risk causing the elimination of important features. It means that the original TO-approach may require a more flexible taxonomic organization of feature structures. Hence in this work, we investigate how the Infinite Relational Model (Kemp et al., 2006), a novel unsupervised machine learning method, is applied for generating more flexible feature structures and combined with the aforementioned algorithm, Bayesian Model of Generalization.

As more and more information find their way to the internet, people are able to do more at their own desk than ever before, all in the comfort of a private environment. But as more activities, especially learning, are able to be done through the personal desktop space, the question is then raised of whether or not one is really engaged and/or learning and not being distracted by other things that the internet offer. For this, we propose a model that will associate various sitting postures with a person's level of engagement and/or learning. Said model will know what kind of postures usually indicate a state of engagement to a person's work and learning, and which postures indicate a falling out from that state. We apply machine learning techniques to a database of silhouette images, captured using a Microsoft Kinect, in order to extrapolate patterns that would help link a user's postures to his learning state. Our model can be used to assist users regain learning postures and suggest for a change of activity if prolonged periods of non-learning are detected so that users will gain the most out of their time.

移動を伴う複数人会話の分析のために,会話場面を三次元記録し閲覧できるシステムを構築した.複数のRGB・深度カメラで撮影した会話参加者の動きを,データごとの信頼性を計算し統合することで三次元モデルと骨格座標データを推定する.3m四方程度の領域で相談しながら物の飾り付けを行うような会話場面に対して,会話参加者や物による映像の遮蔽を補完し,環境自体の三次元復元と合わせて会話場面全体の復元ができる.

気仙沼市における復興支援型の研究プロジェクトにおける、コミュニティ参加型アプローチの事例を紹介する。コミュニティ参加型のアプローチにより、生活現場を内部観察として把握、データ収集することによって、コミュニティにおけるシステムダイナミクスをモデル化することが可能になる。本発表では日常生活を計算モデル化することを目指した研究を実践する方法論としての重要な性質を議論する。

様々なキーワード・場所に関する検索を行う地理情報検索の研究がこれまで行われてきた。しかし、地理情報検索を実際に利用するためには、キーワードと場所の両方を指定しなければならなかった。そこで、クエリの入力を支援する仕組みとして、指定した場所に特徴的な語の提示を行うことにより、場所の指定だけでキーワードを想起させることが必要であると考えた。本稿では、この特徴的な語の提示の手法および評価について述べる。

インターネットの普及により、ネット上での評価情報(口コミ、レビューなど)は消費者の消費行動に大きく影響を及ぼすようになっている。しかし、消費者への正確な評価情報の推薦、評価の正当性など、未だに多くの課題が存在している。こうした背景に基づき、本研究では評価情報中のコメント文に着目し、消費者、提供者、評価者に対して、それぞれの立場や目的に応じた評価情報の有効的な利用について提案する。

In this paper, we are introducing a new method to improve search engine capabilities by user preference achieved with the help of community's proxy logs. The goal is focused to build a custom search engine that providing community-specific results. To achieve such search engine, we use proxy server logs from Network Operation Center of EEPIS-ITS and fetch the url and user field as a base for our work. Then, we use tf-idf algorithm to convert those textual data into a machine friendly numerical data. To find topics based on those url, we cluster it into 10 or more preferable clusters using k-means algorithm. Getting the result of that method, then we crawl the title and meta information from all of the clustered url to find the actual topic. Those result, finally would be our base to create the search engine. Lastly, we use vector space model to provide a search result from user's query.

本研究では,調停や交渉等の議論における行き詰まり時の特徴を,議論のテキストログから抽出し,行き詰まりを検出し,これを解消するためのリフレーミング発言を支援するシステムを開発する.行き詰まりは,近接した発言が指す話題が一定に定まらない等の特徴により検出する.そこでまずは,発言と話題の関連づけ等を用いた行き詰まりの検出と,話題遷移を視覚的に表現し,リフレーミング支援の基盤となるUIの開発を行う.

仲裁や交渉における議論を解析するためには,論点の関係や議論構造を把握することが重要である. 本稿では,言語情報だけでなく非言語情報まで用いて議論を解析し,議論構造を詳細に把握する手法を提案する. まず,発言に出現する単語の共起性に着目し,話題の推移を検出する.そして,推移のきっかけとなった発言と,その発言と同時に表出された身振りなどの非言語情報を統合的に利用し,発言の意味づけを分析する.

機械学習等を用いたトレード手法やポートフォリオ構成手法が研究されている。我々は、より長期にわたる運用に主眼をおき、下落相場(2000~2003)およびリーマンショックのような劇的な下落に十分に耐えられる手法が必要不可欠であると考える。米国市場を対象に、日足データのみを用い、機械学習や統計的な手法を用いたポートフォリオ構成手法を提案するものである。

金融市場において,国債や企業向け貸出のヘッジ手段としてCDSが幅広く用いられるようになってきたが,依然として,アジアを中心にCDSマーケットのない国や企業が存在する.これに対し,状況が似ている他の国や企業のCDSを用いてヘッジするプロキシヘッジの取組がなされているが,その際において,最適なヘッジ比率設定が課題となっている.本論文では,複利型強化学習を用いて最適ヘッジ比率を学習する手法を提案する.
