母集団から無作為抽出した確率標本に対して,各種の測定法を適用する標本調査は,社会・世論・市場などに関する知識を得る方法として広く利用されているが,調査の信頼性の指標である回収率の低下が著しい.確率標本を得るための抽出枠である住民基本台帳の閲覧を制限する法改正も進み,社会全体が調査の信頼性を低下させる方向に進んでいる.実践的立場から調査の現状について問題点を示し,全誤差を考察する.

Mobility as a means of transportation is undergoing a drastic change due to popularization and in-novation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Autonomous car driving technologies is cur-rently under development. Among them, the concept of Mobility as a Service (MaaS) has been established, and it is an opportunity to recapture the whole Mobility as a Service. In this article, we discuss MaaS that should be used in the tourism field and attempt to design a service related to mobility from the technical innovation and regulations.

National Statistics Center has started the initiative in promoting statistical literacy with a framework including a series of 3 activities since 2018. These activities are developing and disseminating SSDSE (Standardized Statistical Data Set for Education), preparing educational materials using the SSDSE, and holding an annual data analysis competition which also uses the SSDSE. This framework has potential to promote the use of official statistics, to make chances discovering interests in data analysis, and to rise positive attitudes to learn.

日本で対象者が最も多いであろう企業に勤めるサラリーマンの昇進について、早生まれの効果の存在の有無を検証することにした。戦後、サラリーマンは急増し、過半数を超える日本人がサラリーマンである。ある人はもの作りの専門家として、またある人は作られた製品を売買する営業マンとして企業に就職し、多くの場合、同じ会社でサラリーマンとしての人生を終える。順調に昇進をして、役員、あるいは、社長になることがサラリーマン人生のゴールのひとつとしたら、そのゴールにおいて、早生まれは不利になっているだろうか。幼少年期の劣等感が悪影響を及ぼしている可能性はあるのだろうか。この点を明らかにするために日本の上場企業における役員、社長の生まれ月から検証する。

The gender gap in the STEM fields is a global phenomenon and a social problem that should not be overlooked. One of the factors is the existence of sexism in the educational setting of the STEM fields. In particular, the impact of Ambivalent Sexism has become clearer through a few insightful studies within the U.S. context. This article aims to introduce those key researches and discuss possible implications and suggestions for the educational setting in Japan.

光の波長よりもやや小さい周期を持つサブ波長領域の回折光学素子は、通常の回折格子とは異なった特徴的な機能を持つことが知られている。本研究では、複合的な機能を持つ回折光学素子を設計することを目的として、光を電磁波として扱いマクスウェル方程式を直接解く時間領域差分(FDTD)法によって電磁界シミュレーションをおこなった。

人間は顔に対する認識能力が優れているため、現実の顔だけでなく顔イラストに対しても、その個性を認識し、描かれている表情を感じ取ることが出来る。本研究では、イラストで描かれた顔に対する人間の評価を元にして表情を定量的にモデル化し、それを任意の顔イラストに適用することで、元の顔の特徴を保持したまま表情のみを変化させられるシステムを構築した。

都市環境や建造物に対して防災やバリアフリーの観点から「安全」を規定する法律はあるが、「安心」を実現するための法的な規制は未だない。本研究の目的はバーチャルリアリティを利用して、社会的弱者が安心して暮らせるために必要な「生活空間の条件」を明確にし、安心空間のガイドラインの策定に寄与することである。今回はまず、バーチャル環境から得られる印象と実環境から得られる印象との差異について検討した。

Interfaces for people with severe motor impairments that enables them to interact with a healthy person and manipulates a wheelchair by extending the body motion ability through information equipment recently has been put to practical use. It is well known that tongue and gaze motion can remain even in much serious stage. It is a problem to assure the electric insulation of the device in oral cavity. In this research, we propose a pointing I/F using the intraoral image taken by a small camera for the endoscope available at low cost. Since the individual movement of the tongue is largely different according to disease condition and it may changes over time, a learning signal to the CNN is dynamically generated and adapted to ensure the invariant operative output range.

The current artificial intelligence is good at object recognition with high accuracy and high speed. However, it is still difficult to perceive things in the same way as the perception of human beings through touching things and feel from them because artificial intelligence does not have a body or sensory organs. However, “kan-sei” cannot be ignored in order to get close to people, strongly support people. Through this presentation, we think about what “artificial intelligence” is about “kansei” and what can be done and what is not likely to be expected to see in coming super smart society.

This document describes that the study of economic efficiency has focused too much on demand estimation, not sufficiently examined the possibility of procuring human resources, which is a key success factor of business, and also explains the usefulness of mesh data for social issues caused by the uneven distribution and concentration of human resource demand and supply.

ウェブによる全国規模の選好調査データを用いて、負債保有が双曲割引(現在バイアス)やせっかちさ(imaptience)の程度と正の相関をもち、符号効果(割引に関する利得損失の非対称性)と負の相関をもつことを示す。双曲割引との相関は、とくに単純な(ナイーブな)回答者に有意に検出され、深慮者(ソフィスティケイテッドな人)サンプルでは高々非有意な相関しか見られない。クレジットカード負債の保有や消費者金融の利用経験、債務不履行経験などの過剰債務傾向にも、双曲割引や忍耐力のなさと同様の相関が見られる。

ITのカーバ領域がグローバル化した企業の全領域を包み、為替レートの変動が企業活動の底辺からを揺すぶる時代の迅速な意思決定支援システムに対処するには、経営管理の根底から見直し全面的に従来とは異なるベースが必要である。そのためには、複雑さを克服し、マクロ視点とミクロ視点の整合性を備え、参画者が言語の壁を越えて、連鎖する仕組みを共有できる必要がある。筆者等はこのベースとして構造マトリクスを長年追求してきた。さらにもう一点の壁は、事務系と技術系の接点境界となってきた原価システムである。筆者等は、構造マトリクスの上でActivityとUnit Cost をPairで提供する世界を先達の努力を引き継いできたが、今回、Activity、Unit Costと個別Total Costの三者(Triplet Costing)を提供し、その比率、共有比等を提供し、ここを核とする意思決定も可能と考えるに到った。 これらの概要を紹介したい。(注) 構造マトリクスを一言で言えば、産業連関表の各要素をベクトル、あるいはマトリクスとして扱い、複雑な大規模な因果連関を明確に表す手法で、ヨーロッパ、韓国等の財閥企業の意思決定で深く適用されてきた技法で、更なる進化が期待できる。
