In Present-day English, some motion verbs including come and go can be followed by the bare form of another verb, forming so-called “Double Verb Constructions," which have some unique properties like the inflectional restriction, the selectional restriction on their subjects, and the single event interpretation. These properties are argued to be closely related to their development from V and V constructions in infinitive and imperative uses through grammaticalization in Middle and Modern English. It is shown that as a result of grammaticalization, the relevant motion verbs have been reanalyzed into light verbs located in v that take an infinitival VP complement.

研究論文(Article)第二次世界大戦後、村の大半を米軍基地用地として接収された読谷村では、従前の居住地(字)に帰ることが困難な住民が多く発生した。そのため、読谷村の戦後の住民自治組織は、戦前の字へのメンバーシップをもとに属人的に形成された。しかし戦後70年が経過し、基地返還が進むとともに、新住民の流入も増加し、自治組織の見直しが求められている。変容しつつある住民自治組織と活動を自治会長のインタビュー結果から明らかにした。After World War II, almost all area of Yomitan village was used for US Army bases. Many villagers could not come home and live apart from former community members. So, village office regarded it the official local community organaized by former community memmbers. Later Us bases came back to village one by one and new residents as well as former villagers began to live together. That requests the village office to reform the community organization. This article analyze the reformation and possibility of community organizaion in Yomitan village from the interview of community leaders.

Abstract : The implant periapical lesion (IPL), which is a possible cause of implant failure, may occur due to the presence of a pre-existing microbial pathology such as endodontic/periodontal lesions. A 27-year-old female patient underwent the placement of a screw-shaped submergible titanium dental implant in the maxillary anterior region. Six months after implant insertion, the patient visited our hospital and presented with a persistent pain resistant to analgesics. A periapical x-ray showed the presence of a radiolucency at the apical portion of the implant ; this image was confirmed by cone beam CT. Root canal treatment was performed to restore the bone defect in the neighborhood of the fixture. This paper presents a case history related to IPL, which was caused by a pre-existing endodontic lesion.

Miniature eye movement is characterized by it's complex waveform, small amplitude and unconsciousness. Involuntary movement like this may be affected by various psychological and physical states. From a view point of a fractal dimension analysis, the characteristics of miniature eye movements were investigated for estimating our sensitivity of feeling. The correlation dimension was used as a fractal dimension for quantizing complexity of miniature eye movements drift components. Validity of sufficient total calculation data (i. e. 18, 000 points for 12 embedding dimensions using a bandpass filter) were confirmed. And also differences between experimental data and noise of measurement system were simulated using pseudo white noise. And 1/f power spectrum of experimental data was confirmed using Fast Fourier Transform. This suggested that miniature eye movement may be a biological chaos. The applications of this analysis may be not only sensitivity of feeling estimation but also a medical application as a diagnosis of dementia.

The purpose of this study is to clarify the status of learning support for children in residential care, using the interview for workers. It is found that they have a lot of difficulties such as a shortage of workers, lack of supporting time and poor study circumstances. There findings suggest that it necessity for protection of learning rights of the children and skill for living, which is based on relationship between children and workers.

実環境で頑健に動作する情報システムを構築するために, 多岐にわたる情報科学技術の諸分野を融合する必要性が高まっている. 本研究の目的は, 実世界情報並列計算フレームワークを構築し, 異なる種類のデータを扱える新しいシステムを開発することを通じて, 汎用の計算基盤の構築と応用例を示すことである. 具体的には, 情報爆発で開発されているInTrigger上で動作するシステムを開発した. 標準の並列計算用ライブラリMPIは, クラスタには対応していても, 複数のクラスタで構成されるグリッドには必ずしも対応していない. そこで, A02支援班で開発されているグリッド用のMPIライブラリMC-MPI(Multi-cluster MPI Librarv)を用いて,グリッド上で動作するリング状にネットワークした計算ノードでパイプライン処理するシステムや, 異なる条件の計算を同時並列に行い, 結果を集約するシステムを開発した. その上で, 多数の生物学的神経モデルを同時並列に計算し, シミュレーションを行った. また, 任意の実世界情報を扱えるシステムを開発することを目的として, 運動学習支援システムを開発した. 従来ネットワークに対応していなかった運動計測データを扱うソフトウエアをサーバとクライアントに分け, クライアント側にハードウエアを接続し, サーバは任意の計算機上に配置できるように構成した. 運動学習支援システムは, 運動の特徴量をリアルタイムに学習者にフィードバックすることができる. この他, 会話支援システムなどの認知活動支援システム, マルチスケール神経モデルで構成され. 計測装置と接続可能なオープンブレインシミュレータ, 脳活動, 認知活動計測装置などを開発し, 評価実験を行った. 以上を通じ, 汎用の実世界情報並列基盤フレームワークと, それを用いたアプリケーションの開発に成功した.
