本論文では,食の差異から,差異の表象が生み出されるプロセスを考察する。いま,「差異の表象」が指示するものは,とくに人種についてである。異なる食習慣は,しばしば異なる<人間>の表象を生み出し,それらは知らずして差別と結びつきやすい。そうした過程を考えるうえで,ここでは,おもにユダヤ人の特異な食事の規定を題材とし,それが反ユダヤ主義とどのように接続されていたかについて焦点を当てる。反ユダヤ主義は,古代から現代まで連綿と続く人種主義のひとつの典型である。これらの考察を通して,根拠のない表象が,なぜわれわれにリアリティをもってしまうのか,ということを考える糸口としたい。

There has been increased emphasis on self-determination for people with disabilities since the Supporting Independence of Disabled People came into operation. As is generally known, the concept of self-determination has become a key part of Disability Studies. This concept allows people with disabilities—who were bound by the idea of economical or physical independence for many years—to see the possibility of autonomy, and led to the formulation of new welfare policies. On the other hand, Disability Studies distinctly reveals the bound of self-determination, which is the possibility of the exclusion of people with the most significant disabilities from the grouping of autonomous subjects. That is, we are faced with the question—does self-determination apply to people with the most significant disabilities, especially those with mental disabilities? This study attempts to answer this question by examining the relationship between autonomy and rationality. Firstly, to show the features of self-determination for people with disabilities, the Independent-living model is surveyed. Secondly, it is argued that this model is based on the premise of rationality, and that this premise necessarily suppresses people with the most significant disabilities. Finally, to avoid this suppression, the idea of "principled autonomy" is claimed. Principled autonomy, an alternative to "individual autonomy," which the Independent-living model depends on, can convert the relationship between autonomy and rationality.

Twelve distributional patterns of fluorescent body parts, including complete non-fluorescence, were found in diverse taxonomic groups of small hydromedusae (≤21 mm in umbrellar diameter) collected in 2008-2010 in Tanabe Bay and a freshwater pond in Tanabe city, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan, and in Suma harbor, Kobe city, Hyogo Prefecture. Only three of the green fluorescence patterns have been described until now. Particular fluorescence patterns may have originated convergently more than once within this taxonomic group. In Liriope tetraphylla the distribution of fluorescence changes during development, and the eggs of Clytia languida also display fluorescence.

In this paper, we proposed a novel serious game for decentralized autonomous electric power network called i-Rene (inter intelligent renewable energy network). Renewable energy sources and micro energy-storages have been attracted in years past. We have proposed a concept which not only improves energy independence but also achieves an optimal allocation of renewables by introducing market mechanisms based on artificial learning multi-agent system. Although such decentralized network would play an important role to install further renewable energy, there is no similar system in this real world today. Many people are unfamiliar with such renewable energy network. It means that the many people are not ready to adopt such decentralized autonomous electric power network. This has been an invisible barrier to install the new electric power network. To solve this problem, we propose to use a serious game. We developed a handon game simulating i-Rene based on serious game concepts. We evaluate the performance of this platform through two experiments.
