The present study investigated how first-year seminars should be designed to support the academic achievements of freshmen. Case examples of course design for first-year seminars were collected from six teachers. On the basis of the results of qualitative arrangement, seven categories were generated and three main principles were discovered: building membership among students in their class, mutual or reciprocal learning among peers and teacher’s facilitation of peer learning, and individualized coaching in addition to teaching groups of students. Examples of course design were consolidated into a scale, and the scale was positively correlated with a safe class climate and the attainment of seminar targets. The relationships among course design, the attainment target of the seminar and a safe class climate were analyzed, and the findings suggested that course design had a greater influence on academic achievement than a safe class climate, and that a safe class climate had a greater influence than instructional design for becoming accustomed the to new college life through the seminar.

After the end of the Cambodian civil war prolonged for more than twenty years, there can be seen progress of the studies on Cambodian Buddhism in English. However, documents preserved at the National Archives of Cambodia are not fully utilized in these works. This paper, therefore, scrutinizes new documents and tries to delineate the policies of the French colonial administration and the royal government toward Buddhism, and to describe the responses of the Buddhist monks, particularly those who claimed to reform the religious practices according to Tripitaka. Since the middle of the 19th century, Cambodian Buddhism had been under the ced learning of the Pali language were provided. In order to interrupt such a stream, the colonial authorities tried to issue identity cards of the monks and novices, and to found Pali schools from the 1900s. These policies finally took root among the Khmer monks in the late 1910s. Instead of the Siamese temples, the Ecole Française d'Extrême-Orinent played an important role in cultivating a new "reformation" led by the two young Francophone monks named Chuon Nath and Huot Tath. They devoted themselves to the activities of the Royal Library and Buddhist Institute, both of which were reorganized or established by the Ecole, and they advocated the "reformation" of the Mohanikay sect. Their influences upon the alumni of the Ecole supérieure de Pali caused conflicts with senior monks, which spread to the monasteries in the cities from the 1920s and those in the local villages through the 1950s and 1960s. After the fall of Pol Pot regime, under which religion had been entirely prohibited, most of the temples began to follow the path of the "reformation." Thus Chuon Nath and Huot Tath became considered to be the leading figures in Cambodian Buddhist history.

This paper summarizes several robot programming approaches and presents a direct teaching method for robot programming of manipulators. A human operator wearing a head-mounted display and hand-held controllers manipulates a spherical marker in the computational space to determine a desired position of the manipulator. A depth camera attached to the manipulator acquires a point cloud of the surroundings of the manipulator to construct the scanned map in the computational space. The desired posture of the manipulator can be found by solving an inverse kinematics problem.

本研究の目的は、統合失調症への動作法に関する研究を概観し、今後の研究課題について検討することである。収集した18文献を基に、発表論文数の推移および形式的側面(①医療機関の種別と治療形態、②対象、③目的、④治療者と実施形態、⑤治療構造、⑥評価方法、⑦掲載誌、の7点により分類)から、統合失調症への動作法に関する研究を概観し、考察を行った。これらを踏まえて、今後の課題としては、急性期や外来患者への動作法の活用、効果研究のあり方の検討(量的研究やプロセス研究の導入等)、心理臨床における動作法の展開、が挙げられた。
