Many authors have discussed the eruption time sequence and the mechanism of volcanic eruptions by estimating the ejected velocity of the volcanic blocks, with the aid of other factors of eruptive phenomena. Equations of motion for the volcanic blocks have been proposed by considering the factors, such as the air resistance, the influence of the wind, the inclination of the explosion principal axis and so on. However, the equation of motion and its solution has not been considered that the air resistance power was vector quantity for the flight of volcanic blocks. In this paper a new equation of motion for the ejected volcanic blocks is proposed by considering the air resistance power as vector quantity.

The present authors pointed out, in the last paper, a mistake in the equation of motion for volcanic blocks. Reliable assumption of the air resistance to the blocks is required for accurate estimation of initial velocity of volcanic blocks. However, little attention has been given to the point. This paper organizes the problems about the estimation of the air resistance and proposes a new method of the estimation. Also this paper organizes the effect of factors on the distribution of volcanic blocks. Model calculations revealed the effect of the atmospheric air density cannot be ignored. For the effect of explosion principal axis on the distribution of volcanic blocks, this paper proposes an extended equation which volcanic blocks eject to all the directions around the crater.

本研究では、サハリン島で内耳土鍋(器体内部に環状の取っ手をもつ土器)が出現する時期について検討した。内耳土鍋研究は、北海道・サハリン島・千島列島におけるアイヌ文化の成立過程を考える上で、非常に重要な研究分野である。研究の結果、サハリン島で内耳土鍋が出現した時期は11世紀中頃から13世紀前半であることが判明した。

おやつ昆布の咀嚼機能食品としての特性を明らかにするために,引っ張り試験機による破断測定,官能評価,咀嚼筋筋電位ならびに咀嚼圧計測を行った.今回用いた4種の昆布では,破断応力は変化しないが,厚みが異なるため,破断荷重は異なった.官能評価では,破断に大きな力を要したものが噛みにくいと判断された.筋電位計測では,噛みにくいと判断された試料では,咀嚼時間や咀嚼回数,全咀嚼筋活動量が大きくなった.昆布のように咀嚼圧よりも高い破断応力をもつ試料の力学特性は,ヒトの嚥下までの咀嚼挙動に影響し,破断荷重の高い試料を,ヒトは咀嚼回数を多くし,長時間をかけて咀嚼し,噛みにくいと感じることが示唆された.一方,一回目の咀嚼に要する咀嚼圧や感圧面積等には,試料の力学特性の影響は観られなかった.

サツマイモの表皮色はその市場評価を高めるうえでの重要な品質要因となっている. 表皮の鮮やかな赤色はアントシアニンによるものとされているが, これについての研究はきわめて少なく, その化学構造についても一部が明らかにされているにすぎない. Imbertら(4) は, サツマイモの茎の赤色色素について調査し, その主要成分をジカフェオイル-シアニジン-3-ジグルコシド-5-グルコシドおよびジカフェオイル-ペオニジン-3-ジグルコシド-5-グルコシドと報告している. 一方,塊根内部が紫色のサツマイモは, 一部の品種についてその主要なアントシアニン ('Yen217':カフェオイル-フェルロイル-シアニジン-3-スクロシド-5-キシロシド) が同定されている (9).アントシアニンは, 近年, 天然の着色料として食品への利用が急速に増加しているだけでなく, 抗酸化能などを有する機能性物質としての検討も開始されている (10). そこで著者らは, 高品質なサツマイモの生産,貯蔵に関する研究およびアントシアニンの利用に関する研究の一環として, わが国における青果用サツマイモの主要品種である'紅赤'と'ベニアズマ'の表皮を用い,これらの表皮色を構成している色素であるアントシアニンの構造の同定を試みた. 本報告では, その結果とともに, 紫サツマイモの代表的な品種である'山川紫'と'種子島紫'の塊根のアントシアニン組成についても述べる.

By using an acoustic method, the duration of reverberation of γ′-Ni·Al bronze sintered alloy was compared with those of Cu-10wt%Sn, Fe-10wt%Cu and α-Ni·Al bronze sintered alloys. The relationship between the duration of reverberation and internal friction was discussed. It was found that the duration of reverberation in this γ′-Ni·Al bronze sintered alloy is extremely shorter than those in other alloys, and decreases linearly with increasing internal friction.

It is thought that the Soviet archaeology which continued from 1917 to 1991 is divided into two features. One is the research of local cultural history and another is the research of human social history. In the Soviet archaeology, the most important point is that the historical view of Marcus Leninism dogma existed until the collapse of the Soviet Union. The examination of the history of the Soviet archaeology to which "archaeology" and "national ideology" related serves as the cause which archaeologist itself recognizes about the danger which exists in archaeology. In this paper, the Soviet archaeology in the 1920s and 1930s is divided into three periods: 1) from after a revolution to 1928, 2) 1929-1933, 3) after 1934. And I examine the formation process of Marxism-Leninism in the Soviet archaeology.

クラミジア直腸炎を3例経験した.全例無症状で,便潜血反応陽性の精査の際に直腸の均一な半球状小隆起の集簇像という特徴的な内視鏡所見と直腸擦過診のChlamydia trachomatis抗原検索によって診断された.治療としてazithromycin hydrateを投与した.クラミジア直腸炎は自覚症状の乏しい症例も多く,画像所見から本疾患を疑い,適切な検査で診断・治療することが必要である.

玄ソバについて古くから行われている寒ざらし処理が,ソバ殻を除いた可食部の成分組成に与える影響を検討し,そば切りの品質向上効果にかかわる伝承の実証を試みた.(1) 寒ざらし処理後も,タンパク質,脂質,炭水化物,灰分,無機質,食物繊維およびルチンについては,ほとんど溶出していなかった.(2) 寒ざらし処理により,全ポリフェノール量の低下および遊離アミノ酸組成の変動が認められ,遊離アミノ酸の中ではγ-アミノ酪酸(GABA)が2倍に増加していた.(3) 成分含有量に大きな変化は見られなかったが,ポリフェノール量と遊離アミノ酸組成の変化は,そば切りの品質向上の可能性を示していると考えられた.

本研究では、太陽風中の非平衡な速度分布が磁気流体波によって生成される過程について、数値計算・理論解析を用いた議論を行った。その結果、(1)磁気流体波が存在する場合に現れる「見かけの」非平衡速度分布が磁気流体系の平衡状態に対応していること、(2)太陽コロナから伝搬する磁気流体波が伝搬過程で生じる急峻化の過程で非平衡な速度分布が生成されること、(3)非平衡な速度分布によって励起される短波長の波動によって低周波の磁気流体波の減衰が促進されること、などが明らかになった
