Sur l'e instable, il y a deux points de vue principaux. L'un est que l'e instable doit etre considere comme situe hors du systeme phonologique et que par consequent on ne peut pas le considerer systematiquement. L'autre est qu'il doit etre considere dans le systeme phonologique et qu'on doit lui donner un statut propre. Dans cette etude, basee sur ce dernier point de vue, l'auteur considere In relation entre l'e instable et les autres unites - notamment [ce], [φ], [ε], [e] - dans le systeme vocalique. Et puis, s'inspirant de la grammaire stratificationnelle, il etudie non seulement la relation entre les unites au meme niveau, mais aussi celle entre les unites aux niveaux differents. (ex. Lexon, Morphon, Phoneme etc.) A cause de la complexite du probleme, la description complete nest faite qu'a propos des phenomenes observes a la finale du mot, mais, en poussant encore ces recherches, l'auteur espere que les autres phenomenes pourront aussi etre decrits et expliques de la meme maniere.

Evidence that Homers two epics "Odyssey" and "Iliad" each consisting from 24 songs have 12 themes, each song another theme and those 12 are all taken up for the second time in the same order, can be seen in my monographs in the "Otsuma Journal of Comparative" No. 1 and No. 2. Homeric themes with the way of description come to life again in Shakespeares plays and Goethes novel. For example five Homeric themes man can find out in "Hamlet" and eight of them in Goethes Hamlets novel "Wilhelm Meisters Lehrjahre" too. Themes in these authors are the same, but their way of description are different from each other, in the case of Homer principally through occasions but in Shakespeares plays through inner life, and in Goethes novel through both. While the themes in Goethes novel are 1) enemy 2) characters 3)hope 4)goddess 5)parent 6)children 7) health and 8) marriages, those in "Hamlet" are 1) parent 2)children 3)health 4)marriages and 5) death. Four of those are the same as those in Goethe except the last one. This is one of 12 themes from Homer too. Therefore it is reasonable to suppose that themes in Shakespeare and Goethe come from Homer. Shakespeares plays consist of five acts without exception. Based on my examination each act of Shakespeares play has one of Homeric themes and the order of each 5 themes in five acts is the same as in Homer. In concluding, I should emphasize, that Shakespeares 39 plays all can be divided into groups according to the themes. To take an example "Hamlet" comes under the same groups "Lear", "The Merchant of Venice", etc.

This study aimed to establish culture conditions which are able to give the differentiation of induced pluripotent (iPS) cells to the hepatocytes. To this end, we examined the usefulness of culture medium containing the components involved in the intermediary metabolism in the liver. More specifically, we examined the effect of the 'modified L-15 medium' containing galactose, phenylalanine and ornitine, but deprived of glucose, tyrosine, arginine and pyruvic acid. The medium was altered according to changes in the expression of enzymes that participate in liver-specific pathways. After 25 days of differentiation, the differentiated cells expressed hepatocyte markers and drug-metabolizing enzymes. These expression levels were increased using modified L-15 medium. The survival of human fetal liver cells and the death of human fibroblasts were observed during culture in modified L-15 medium. Most of the cells that differentiated from human iPS cells using modified L-15 medium were stained by anti-human albumin antibody. These results suggest that iPS cells can be converted to high purity-differentiated hepatocytes by cultivating them in modified L-15 medium.

ここでは、グローバル化するスポーツが途上国の人々に与える影響について、メラネシア地域を事例に検討した。スポーツ社会学において近年、スポーツのグローバリゼーションに対する関心が高まっているが、そうした研究の多くは途上国の存在を見過ごしてきた。スポーツ社会学者が、多様化へ向かう現在のスポーツの姿情を強調していくなかで、いったん途上国に目を向けてみると、そこでは異なったグローバリゼーションの実相が展開されていることがわかる。先進諸国を中心に「楽しさ」を主眼においたニュー・スポーツや市場経済を基盤としたレジャー活動が台頭しているのに対し、ヴァヌアツ共和国のような小さな島嶼国では、IOCやIFを中核とした組織化へ向かう動きが、いまだ活発に展開されている。このように、グローバル化するスポーツといえども様々な位相があり、そこには一義的には語ってならない異質な層が重なり合っている。本稿においては、スポーツにおけるグローバリゼーションを包括的な言説で一括りにしてしまうのではなく、様々な論理が絡み合う空間に身を置きながら、その交錯関係から出発して考えていくことの重要性を指摘し、そうしたエスノグラフィックな調査の積み重ねが、今後スポーツのグローバリゼーションについて考えていく際に重要であることを示唆した。

「家」とは, 世代を超えて永続し, 直系親族により単独相続され, 家業や家産が維持され, 構造的には直系家族世帯を形成するものと定義される。しかし, 庶民層で「家」が一般化した時期については未だ定説が確立していない。本稿では「家」に不可欠な要素である永続性に着目し, 実態としての世帯に永続性が備わっているのかどうかを, 歴史人口学的方法を用いて検討した。その結果, 永続性は不変的に存在したのではなく19世紀以降に一般化したこと, さらに永続性が一般化する前は永続性規範も希薄であったとの仮説を得た。これらの知見は, 17世紀初頭から「家」が存在したとする従来の家族社会学的家変動論や近代になりようやく「家」が成立したとする法制史的家変動論に再考を迫るものであり, 近世から近代への連続性において家の変動を捉える枠組みを提示するものである。

A pair of 20-year simulations by two different versions of MIROC (Model for Interdisciplinary Research on Climate) was examined by using a standardized set of Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO) diagnostics. One of the major differences between version 4 (MIROC4) and version 5 (MIROC5) of MIROC is the cumulus parameterization scheme. MIROC4 uses a prognostic Arakawa-Schubert scheme, whereas MIROC5 uses the Chikira scheme. MIROC5 reproduced the MJO better than MIROC4: a stronger signal in the wavenumber-frequency diagram, a slower and more noticeable eastward movement in the lag-correlation plot, and a better phase relationship between outgoing longwave radiation and zonal winds.To investigate the impact of mid-tropospheric humidity on cumulus development in MIROC5, the atmosphere-only version of MIROC5 was used for a series of sensitivity runs, each with different entrainment parameter values. The entrainment parameter settings significantly influenced the simulated MJO. Large-scale cloud systems tended to move westward with smaller entrainment parameter values, accompanied by a pair of rotations with quasi-symmetry about the equator in the lower troposphere, whereas eastward movements were faster, with larger entrainment parameter values.

一般に気質とは内在的な生来性素質に関する名称であつて性格とは生来性の要素と環境との輻輳によつて獲得されたものとの結合組織化されたものであると言われている。然し吾々が日常観察する児童生徒は, どこまでが気質で, どこまでが性格だと峻別することは甚だ困難である。従つて一括して気質性格として取扱うことが妥当である。若しそのように考えないとしたならば性格陶冶とか性格教育と言われているものを否認することになる。それであるから気質性格は内在的な要因の発達や外力によつて変化するものであると言う立場から意志気質検査を 10才から14才に至る5力年間実施してその結果を要因の上から吟味したのである。<BR>(1) 要因の上から概括的に言うならば年少時では思慮を現わす要因が支配的であるのに対して運動の速度, 決断速度の要因は比較的消極的である。12才~19才頃ではどのような要因が気質性格において支配的であるかは容易に捉えることができない。従つてそれ以後の年令になつて始めて明確なものとなつてくると考えられる。<BR>(12) 類型上からは, 同一型を終始維持している場合は極めて僅少で, このTable8を算出する前に検査の各項目について整理を行つて変動を見たのであるが一定の型に嵌つたような場合は大して見られなかつたが然し低学年では比較的運動速度能力を現わす項目において変動の幅が広く, 精密細心を現わす場合が幅が小さい傾向がうかがわれ, その他拡張, 自信等では幅広い変化が見られた。また男女差を見たのであるが殆んど一致して特に著しく目立つた場合は発見されなかつた。総体的には (±0~±3) の範囲の変動が最も多く全体の75%を示している。そして (±4) の範囲より急に減少している。してみると気質性格は例え変化するとしても逐年的には幅の狭い範囲で変化するもののようである。V要約一般に気質とは内在的な生来性素質に関する名称であつて性格とは生来性の要素と環境との輻輳によつて獲得されたものとの結合組織化されたものであると言われている。然し吾々が日常観察する児童生徒は, どこまでが気質で, どこまでが性格だと峻別することは甚だ困難である。従つて一括して気質性格として取扱うことが妥当その他は各人各様で複雑である。<BR>(3)段階点の変動は (±0~±3) の範囲の場合が多数で, 従つて気質性格は狭い範囲で変化するのであつて, その小範囲の変化の累積によつて人格の或る一部を形成するものであると思われる。

通常、理科の授業方法は、客観的な知識をいかに教えられるかという視点、すなわち教師の側の視点から検討されている。しかし、そのような観点から検討するだけでは、理科における多様な学びの可能性を狭めてしまう。本稿では、視点を変え、われわれがどのようにものごとを学んでいるのかについて示唆を与えてくれる佐伯(1978)の「擬人約認職論」をたよりに、身体性を伴った理科学習について考察する。取り上げるのは、身体を使って理科を学ぶことを目的とし、ダンサーがワークシヨップ形式の授業を行う「ダンスで、理科を学ぼう」という実践における、小5「流れる水のはたらき」の授業である。考察からは、身体性を伴った理科学習について、ひとつひとつの事例にそくし、丁寧に考察してゆく必要があることと、通常の形式の授業で行ってきたことを、身体性を伴った学習でいかに覆すことができるかという発想からではなく、身体性と理科の概念がどのように関連しているのかという発想から事例研究を重ねる必要があることが明らかとなった。

近年の大型並列計算機の発展とともに分子シミュレーションと電子状態計算を統合した第一原理シミュレーションが普及し,国際標準になりつつある.これを用いて,従来では扱えなかった複雑な化学反応動力学や,光吸収や電磁場応答のような電子状態由来の物性などを対象に,さまざまな応用研究が広まっている.本稿では,電子状態理論の基礎をなすHartree-Fock 法について,分子シミュレーションとの接点を少し意識しながら再考したい.

木造建物の全壊といった建物の大きな被害と対応した震度を迅速に計算するために,計測震度の算定に用いるフィルタの周波数特性を修正することを試みた.具体的には,過去に発生した地震動の観測点周辺の木造建物全壊率と対応するようにフィルタの周波数特性を修正した.その結果,フィルタの周波数特性を修正することにより,木造建物の全壊率と対応した震度を迅速に計算できることがわかった.

Once, Niigata was the Canal City. The canals covered the town and rowboats were coming and going. However, these canals were filled in at the time of the rapid economic growth of the Showa 30s. Although the reclamation of the canals and the Shinano River have an important meaning in Niigata's city formation, there is no detailed research, studies nor data on this process. In this research, the process in which the canals are lost from Niigata is clarified toward the revitalization of the canals expected in the future.
