ウェブサイト開設に関して、今や、ネットワークには、道具も情報も十分に提供されているにもかかわらず、組織の方針としてトップダウン方向で推進されない限り、まだまだ、敷居を高く感じさせる面が多くある。本稿では、サイト立ち上げに伴う問題解決の視点や手順を、具体例から幾つか紹介した。先ず、現状調査に始まり、ウェブサイト構成の検討、CMSの機能検討、開発ツールの選択、運用体制の検討の必要性を示した。続く制作では、動画ファイルや、PowerPointファイルの取り扱い方、ページ遷移をせずに多くの情報を盛り込む工夫(jQueryの活用)、統合開発環境のソフトで利用できる便利ツール、翻訳サービスによる国際対応と翻訳の改善手段、SEO対策ツール、サイト内検索ボックスに至るまで、一般によく目にする機能の実現に際してヒントとなるように、実施手段の選択時の視点を紹介した。

The problem with distributed representations generated by neural networks is that the meaning of the features is difficult to understand. We propose a new method that gives a specific meaning to each node of a hidden layer by introducing a manually created word semantic vector dictionary into the initial weights and by using paragraph vector models. We conducted experiments to test the hypotheses using a single domain benchmark for Japanese Twitter sentiment analysis and then evaluated the expandability of the method using a diverse and large-scale benchmark. Moreover, we tested the domain-independence of the method using a Wikipedia corpus. Our experimental results demonstrated that the learned vector is better than the performance of the existing paragraph vector in the evaluation of the Twitter sentiment analysis task using the single domain benchmark. Also, we determined the readability of document embeddings, which means distributed representations of documents, in a user test. The definition of readability in this paper is that people can understand the meaning of large weighted features of distributed representations. A total of 52.4% of the top five weighted hidden nodes were related to tweets where one of the paragraph vector models learned the document embeddings. For the expandability evaluation of the method, we improved the dictionary based on the results of the hypothesis test and examined the relationship of the readability of learned word vectors and the task accuracy of Twitter sentiment analysis using the diverse and large-scale benchmark. We also conducted a word similarity task using the Wikipedia corpus to test the domain-independence of the method. We found the expandability results of the method are better than or comparable to the performance of the paragraph vector. Also, the objective and subjective evaluation support each hidden node maintaining a specific meaning. Thus, the proposed method succeeded in improving readability.

The Apparel Industry in Gifu has been developing after World War. It became one of the three biggest apparel production districts, which are Tokyo, Osaka and Gifu. But recently the existence of local production districts has been unstable because of changing overseas into production and import of enormous quantity of apparel products. First in this research I stated the developing process of apparel industry in Gifu with industrial statistics from 1955 to 1999. Next the developing process of major apparel enterprises from 1984 to 2001. In addition, the new wave of apparel industry. I made it clear the new indications were born and began.

A 4-year-old female toy poodle was admitted with signs of unconsciousness, left head tilt, nystagmus of the left eye, paralysis of the limbs and severe salivation due to falling downstairs. Medical therapy including dexamethasone, diazepam administration was started just after the admission, and then radiography and a CT-scan were performed under xylazine sedation. As a result, the left articular process of the occipital bone was fractured and the bone fragment seemed to compress the cervical spinal cord. The patient received the surgery under GOP anesthesia. The ventral aspect of the occipito-atlantal joint was incised and a few bone fragments around the spinal cord were removed. On the 2nd day of postoperation, the light reflex of the both eyes appeared and the patient recovered consciousness on the 3rd day. On the 7th day, the patient showed a good appetite, and anal reflex and postural reflexes of the right forelimb reversed. On the 14th day, the postural reflexes of all the hindlimbs appeared and the patient could show voluntary walking. At the 8th month of postoperation, the gait and other behaviors were almost normal.

An earthquake, Tohoku region Pacific Coast earthquake, occurred on the 11th of March, 2011, and subsequent Fukushima nuclear power plant accidents have been stirring natural radiation around the author's office in Fukushima Medical University (FMU). FMU is located in Fukushima city, and is 57 km (35 miles) away from northwest of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. This paper presents three types of radiation survey undertaken through the unprecedented accidents at the campus and the hospital of FMU. First, a group of interested people immediately began radiation surveillance; the group members were assembled from the faculty members of “ Life Sciences and Social Medicine” and “ Human and Natural Sciences.” Second, the present author, regardless of the earthquake, had serially observed natural radiations such as gamma radiation in air with NaI scintillation counter, atmospheric radon with Lucas cell, and second cosmic rays with NaI scintillation. Gamma radiation indicated most drastic change, i.e., peak value (9.3 times usual level) appeared on March 16, and decreased to 1.7 times usual level after two months. A nonlinear least squares regression to this decreasing data gave short half-life of 3.6 days and long half-life of 181 days. These two apparent half-lives are attributed to two groups of radioisotopes, i.e., short half-life one of I-131 and long half-life ones of Cs-134, Cs-137 and Sr-90. Also, atmospheric radon concentration became high since a stop of ventilation, while second cosmic rays did not show any response. Third, late April, 2011, a team of radiation dosimetry under the direct control of Dean, School of Medicine, was established for the continuation of radiation survey in the campus and the hospital of Fukushima Medical University.
