Photography is trimming of spatiotemporal information of the real world. The clues to know behind the scene of photography will exist in the outside of the photo, such as the surrounding situation, the photographer's motivation, and the process of the shooting. We propose a photo media "Behind the Photo" showing behind the scene of photography. Our proposed method shows photography experience by presenting the frame and the taken photo on the spherical video. We believe that our method will provide a way for photographers to make their content more enjoyable and attractive, and help appreciators to understand the presented photos. In this research, we developed a camera device and a viewer for "Behind the Photo", and evaluated the experiences of photography and appreciation.

「五感情報通信技術」とは,これまで視覚や聴覚に限定されていたコンピュータ・インタフェースをそれ以外の感覚にも拡大すること,五感の感じた情報をコンピュータが取得,処理,表示すること,などを目指した技術である.感覚というキーワードをコンピュータ技術に取り込み,さらに新しい領域を発展させていこうという目的を持つ,新世紀の技術であるといってよいだろう.本稿では VR技術を中心に,五感情報技術の現状とその周辺の話題について紹介する.

Norbert Wiener suggested the interdisciplinary collaboration that was later called cybernetics. Throughout the several meetings he arranged from 1942 to 1945, Wiener gradually changed his views regarding what the key concept of cybernetics should be. In 1943, Wiener emphasized the negative feedback, drawing an analogy between a machine and a human brain. Then, during 1944, the interaction with his collaborator John von Neumann, who built a high-speed computer, led Wiener to focus on control mechanisms. Finally, at the meeting in 1945, Wiener proposed the concept of communication as a common subject of this interdisciplinary research, aiming to connect control engineering with computer engineering.

在来植物のクズ(Pueraria lobata)による景観や防災機能,生態系への悪影響が深刻化している。そのため,特に緑化地においては,本種の完全防除が求められている。本研究では,切土法面を対象に,法面植生の保全や回復性に配慮したクズの根絶手法について3年間にわたり探索した。近畿大学農学部周辺に位置する,造成後30年以上が経過した切土法面に20個の調査方形区を設置し,5つの処理を施した(無処理,イマザピル注入,引き抜き,年2回刈り取り,および遮光(試験1年目のみ年1回刈り取り))。各処理のクズ根絶効果に加え,切土法面植生の組成に及ぼす影響も評価した。その結果,引き抜きと遮光処理でクズの根絶が確認された。引き抜き処理を行うと一時的(一年程度)に裸地化するが,時間とともに法面植生の被度・種数は増加し,各種の生活型特性も多様化した。他方,遮光処理では期間を通じて法面植生は回復しなかった。その他の処理はクズの密度抑制には一定の効果を示すものの,根絶には至らなかった。以上のことから,本研究で選定された処理のうち,クズの根絶と法面植生の回復性の両面に貢献できる効果的な方法は,引き抜き処理である可能性が示唆された。

なぜスウェーデン人は高い税金を徴収されても不満を言わないのか。負担と受益の関係が"見える化"しているという感覚があるからだ。1991年の税制改正によって導入された二元的所得税論は、税制を勤労課税重課、資本課税軽課の体系に変更した。勤労課税の中心は勤労所得税(地方所得税と国所得税)で、その大半は地方所得税である。地方政府の財源は国からの補助金が少しあるが、それ以外はほぼこの地方所得税だけである。低所得者にも重い地方所得税の課税は広範囲に課税するため安定した税収調達機能をもつ。しかし同時に、この地方所得税は社会的保護と教育(高等教育以外)を担うコミューン(市)と、病院経営を担うランスティング(県)の主要な財源となっている。そのため、"見える化"を進展させた。スウェーデンでは、地方政府が現金給付をおこなうことはほとんどない。それは国と高齢者年金基金の業務だからである。また、現金給付は課税給付金と非課税給付金に分かれている。課税給付金は勤労所得とともに獲得所得として勤労課税の対象となる。地方所得税は定率課税だが、国所得税は高い累進課税である。そのため、税による再分配機能もうまく発揮されている。そして、いかなる家族形態においても生活の安全が保障されている。それも、税における"見える化"を進展させている。

A 57-year-old woman experienced pain from foreign bodies in her oral cavity after eating raw squid. Examination of her oral cavity revealed 20-30 small foreign bodies embedded in the mucous membrane. After all the foreign bodies were pulled out, the pain was allayed and the wounds eventually healed. The foreign bodies, 5mm in length, were white and of elongated conical shape. Under microscopy, a large number of sperms was observed in the bodies. These foreign bodies were determined to be sperm-bags of the squid. It is supposed that this woman ate squid with spermatophores, thereafter sperm-bags were discharged from the spermatophores into her oral cavity. Although only a few similar cases heretofore have been found, it might increase among the Japanese who frequently eat raw squid.
