In what way SANO Tunetami, founder of "HAKUAISHA(Association of Philanthropy)"and the Japanese Red Cross, began to form a "philanthropic spirit"? The primary purpose of this paper is to investigate the backgrounds that lead Sano to HAKUAISHA and the Japanese Red Cross Society by follwowing his career. The first attempt was to consider the influence of such as the experience in his childhood, Confucianism, the Dutch and Western studies, and overseas travel. Those experiences clarified the background of Sano who had headed to HAKUAISHA and Red Cross Action towards the modernization of Japan. Next, the aspects, where acts and ideas of Sano are entangled in relationship with "Figure" and "Ground" in the new structure for the modernization of Meiji, were considered. Also, the concept "HAKUAI", which was employed to introduce Western idea of Red Cross activities into Japanese society by SANO, was investigated. Conclusively, I can point out that the action and thought of Sano was strongly influenced by Confucianism, and Sano himself continued to be a Confucian through his life.

本研究では、現在、修学を継続している生活保護世帯の定時制高校生へのインタビュー調査の内容について、質的研究の手法を用いて、全日制高等学校に比べて中途退学率の高い定時制高等学校への修学を継続していくためには何が必要かその構造を明らかにした。分析の結果、まず、生活保護世帯の定時制高校生が現在順調に修学を継続している要因として、[自分のことを思ってくれる人の存在]、[環境の変化]、[学習内容の理解]、[就職への意欲]、[自己管理能力の修得]の5項目に整理し、その構造を明らかにした。次に、これらの修学継続要因を促進する支援者のかかわり方から、肯定的または否定しない態度、傾聴の姿勢に基づくパートナーシップ、エコロジカル視点に基づく個別化によるエンパワメント支援、自己肯定感の醸成へとつながるストレングス視点、自己選択・自己決定というソーシャルワーク視点を考察するとともに、それらの視点をふまえて、定時制高校生の修学継続を促進させている家庭、学校、福祉事務所(公的機関)、社会資源から形成されるネットワークモデルを提示した。A qualitative study was conducted to identify what factors evening high school students need in order to keep attending a school with a higher dropout rate as compared to a full-time high school and to reveal the mechanisms of these factors, using the results of interview-based research on evening school students on welfare. As a result of the analysis, five factors that help students who are successfully attending school at present were identified : the existence of a person who cares about the student, environmental change, understanding of the content of school lessons, eagerness to find employment, and acquisition of self-management skills. The mechanism of how these factors work was also defined. Considering the ways in which the supporters who facilitate these factors are involved with the students, the following aspects of support were discussed: a partnership based on a non-judgmental attitude and attentive listening, empowerment support through individualization based on the environment, the perspective of strength that leads to fostering of the sense of selfaffirmation, and the perspective of social work, such as self-choice and self-determination. The network model, comprising the family, school, welfare office (public agency), and social resource, is presented to show how these aspects facilitate the attendance of evening high school students.

This Article describes the Mobilization of the 42nd infantry regiment from Yamaguchi. This regiment was mobilized to Siberia in August, 1919, The WWI came to an end. Confusion surrounded Intervention in Siberia. In Yamaguchi, soldiers were mobilized immediately following an event celebrating the end of WWI. In this article, the author will explain the system of Mobilization in the region at that time.

This article is an analysis of articles about Japan's Intervention in Siberia as reported in Japanese Newspapers. At the time of Japan's Intervention in Siberia, local newspapers in Yamaguchi Prefecture contained many articles about legions dispatched from Yamaguchi. Many of the articles were letters written by soldiers and officers in Siberia. In these letters, the soldiers and officers wrote about the battles with Russia and the peoples living in Siberia. The letters from Siberia had a certain reality about them, but they introduced biased views about Russia and Russian Peoples. In Japanese Newspapers, there were many articles praising those who died in the war. These articles were of a stereotypical pattern. The author analyses this problem.

Yamaguchi City was formerly the 'western capital city' of the flowering Ouchi culture, whose name was known to Western Europe. The city expanded world trade ranging from the Far East to the South-Eastern Asia on behalf of Japan, amidst the deterioration and rebellion of the aristocratic Muromachi Shogunate from the Middle Ages to the age of civil strife. The reign of the Mori succeeding the Ouchi doesn't have, regrettably enough, culture and prosperity worthy of our notice. However, from this obscure era of reign arose the second brilliance or what we call 'the Meiji Restoration'. Yamaguchi City became its seismic center. A common opinion calls this movement modernization, ascribing the seismic center to the Mori of Hagi, but rather, it should be ascribed to the presence of the times of the Ouchi. The Meiji Restoration was won by the total war involving the Mori clan for which the descendants, local people and peasants, and samurais of the lower class fought. These people of no name once glorified the joys of the Ouchi culture, launched to the world sea with energy. At the earlier stage of the Meiji era, the struggle for the equality of the sexes in law and the civil rights surged up. Thus, the then era was called 'the age of civilization and enlightenment'. However, the Meiji era gradually changed into the time of wealth and military strength. At the middle stage of the Meiji era, the patriarchal Tennoism with the three pillars of the Constitution of the Great Imperial Japan, the Imperial Rescript on Education and ie or family system civil law was integrated, and thus Meiji changed its character drastically. Its effect still persists down to the present day. The two great figures who guided the change in quality of Meiji were Hirofumi Ito and Aritomo Yamagata, local royalists of the Restoration period who held real power, but it is hardly known that at about the same period, Akiyoshi Yamada, another royalist from the same province and Minister of Justice, died an unnatural death. Considering that he followed French example of the civil law, and was loyal to the civil social law, what his death meant was of vast importance. It seems not too much to say that the movement of rebirth of the Ouchi culture in Yamaguchi City is the movement to restore the real quality of the Restoration.

The purpose of this paper is to propose an example of trial practice of Active Learning Methods for teaching Chinese classical verse. The teacher uses presentation software to show the problems and materials to the students. The problems and materials are given in descending order of difficulty. This is the feature of this paper's proposition. The students divide into groups of about 6. Each group works in collaboration to resolve the problems that the teacher gives. The members of each group are seated around a comparatively large table and jot down many ideas for the answer on their whiteboard as far as possible. At that time they must draw some pictures for the following presentation. After that some members of each group show their whiteboard and express their own group's answers to the students of other groups. Meanwhile the students of other groups ask them some questions. Each group uses other groups' answers as a reference to make their own answers better. The advantage of this method is that the students have an active role in the class. Furthermore, this method makes it possible for the students to gradually improve their answers through mutual learning and finally be able to get to the correct answer together as a whole class.这篇文章试着提供一个方案使用积极学习方法(Active Learning Methods)讲授中国古典诗歌。教员使用演示软件(presentation software)而给学生们提示课题和资料。学生们分为六个人左右的班,各班一起解决教员提示的课题。各班的学生们围着一张比较大的桌子而把各种各样的注意写在白板商量和解决课题,然后向其他班的学生们提示自己班的白板(那里写着答案,答案中可以画图)而解释。其他班的学生们对于那个班的答案提问题。其他班也参照那个班的答案而改善自己班的想法。这种方法的优点是学生们不但不被动地上课而且主动地参加课堂教学。还有学生们通过互相听其他班的报告,结果全体能够共享有关于课题的好答案,共同思考剩下的问题等等。教员提示的课题难易程度是渐渐降低,这也是本稿提示方案的特点。

Overseas training programs can provide the students opportunities to go outside of Japan. By looking at Japan and its culture from outside of Japan with global perspectives, students might be able to discover beauties and strengths in their own local communities, or might be able to find the clues to solve various problems. The programs using the Project-Based-Learning(PBL) approach is especially effective to cultivate students' global perspectives and critical thinking skills. This paper reports on an educational oversea program, "Blue-Bird-Project" conducted in Changwon city in Korea from September 16th to September 24th, 2015. The program was carried out with Kyungnam University and Changwon city.

This paper aims to analyze the key issues concerning Central Asia in Russo-Chinese relations after the Cold War. First, it reviews the Russian foreign commitment to Central Asia, which focuses on security items for the border and ex-patriots, which are vital to Russian interests. Second, it pays much attention to the Chinese attitude towards Russian policy on Central Asia, which China has recognized as a sphere of Russian influence. As its future is uncertain, China has supported the Russian presence there. It should keep close and stable relations with Russia to concentrate its resources for economic and political development as a "great power."

抹茶は、5月に製造された新茶(碾茶)を半年以上低温下で熟成保存させ、それを茶臼で微細紛にしたものである。保存しない新茶(碾茶)を用いて製造した抹茶は、抹茶特有の香り、こく味などの風味に欠け、泡立ち性も劣ることが製茶業者では知られている。この研究は、「抹茶特有の風味が生じるためには、なぜ碾茶を熟成保存する必要があるのか」について明らかにすることを主目的とし、以下の結果が得られた。抹茶の官能評価では、碾茶を含気包装で6ヶ月間保存して調製した抹茶は、保存しない碾茶から調製した抹茶より、うま味・甘味があり、渋味・苦味が抑えられ、まろやか感があると判断された。また、窒素充填包装保存よりも含気包装保存の方が、抹茶らしい風味があると判断された。渋味・苦味成分であるカテキン類の抹茶溶出液中の量は、保存期間が長くなるにつれて僅かに減少した。苦味成分のカフェイン、うま味・甘味成分の遊離アミノ酸、甘味成分の遊離糖の各溶出量は保存期間中ほぼ一定であった。抹茶の泡立ち性は含気保存6ヶ月の抹茶が最も泡立ち性が良く、次いで窒素充填保存6ヶ月の抹茶、保存0ヶ月の抹茶の順であった。以上の結果より、碾茶を保存した抹茶の方が抹茶らしい風味であって、総合的においしいと評価が得られたのは、泡立ち性の向上がその一因であると推察した。碾茶を5℃、6ヶ月間保存しても、抹茶中の総ビタミンC及びアスコルビン酸の残存率は80%以上で高かった。クロロフィル及びクロロフィル誘導体含量、クロロフィラーゼ活性も変化がなかた。以上のことから、抹茶の風味生成のための碾茶保存条件では、茶葉の品質は劣化しないことが確認された。また、カテキン類、カフェイン、ペクチンは茶葉採取時期による抹茶の風味の違いに大きく寄与していないことが認められた。

For a traditional school library, there was an image of "Closed Facility" to students and and children. In this paper, the author has surveyed how a future school library should be by mingling of the students, children and teachers with the three elements of 'data', 'facilities' and 'staff'. Only when these three elements become substantial, a better school library is built up. First of all, as the first step to 'ensure both a rich learning for students and children, and the encounter with books', the key to school library changed to a 'closed facility' should be unlocked. What is important to a future school library is to have a mutual understanding of 'a school library is a place of a door everywhere' where every citizen can touch all kinds of the world.

In a grove of sal trees in Kusinagara, the Buddha Sakyamuni entered into his perfect peacefulness (parinirvana; final extinction) leaving the following short words: vayadhamma samkhara appamadena sampadetha (DN ii. 156.1-2) The meaning of these, the Buddha's last words, has been often offered in such arbitrary and tentative interpretations as "All phenomena are constantly changing. Therefore always remain assiduous," or "All things change and time flies like an arrow, so you must carry out your practice as hard as possible." As has already been shown, however, samkhara (samskdra in Sanskrit) primarily means subconscious force or function which builds up the self, and "the mutableness of samskdra (Sho-gyo-mu-jo)" is one of the most fundamental and essential ideas for understanding Buddhism. This paper attempts to present a more proper interpretation of the Buddha's last words paying special attention to Sho-gyo-mu-jo, and to make a contribution toward deepening our understanding of Buddhism.

This thesis is focused on the activities of the second year of `aurinko tokuji talo', a project for the activation of Intermediate and Mountainous Areas in Tokuji, Yamaguchi City. As a consequence of the first year's achievements in creatingclothing design and the planning of arts managements, our research team continued developing the cooperative projects withlocal representatives in Tokuji. By inviting Tokuji people to the previous year's fashion show at Yamaguchi Prefectural University, we were requested toorganize a local fashion show at Tokuji's summer festival. It has been well-known for its dynamic fi reworks; however, this year locals decided to deliver an alternative event by adding a traditional dance festival of the area. In order to celebrate it, ourresearch team planned an outdoor fashion show utilizing the local resources of handmade Japanese paper and used Kimonomaterials. Here we describe the process of creation such as a hat, corsage, shawl, obi belt and knitting dress and pants madewith Tokuji handmade paper as well as kimono costumes for the dance festival. In addition to the fashion show, we analyze the Christmas Exhibition, which was carried out as an extention of the 'aurinko Tokuji talo' Project, at Christmas Village in Rovaniemi, Finland. We examine the entire procedures of the project.

看護業務において与薬に関するヒヤリハットの発生頻度は少なくない。本研究では女子看護学生39人を被験者とし、薬剤の指示を受けてから薬剤を薬剤箱から取り出するまでの与薬業務過程を実験的に再現して、ヒヤリハットの発生要因を検討した。まず、指示の方法の違いによる検討では、文字による薬剤指示が写真あるいは音声による指示よりも認識ミスを発生しやすかった。次に個人の脳の特性の違いによる影響を検討したところ、自然に指を組んで右母指が上にくる右指組の人は、文字による薬剤指示に対して認識ミスを発生しやすい傾向にあった。本研究の結果から、指示の方法の違いや指示の認識に関わる脳の特性の違いは与薬時のヒヤリハット発生に影響しうることが示唆された。

Y看護学院保健婦科の学生に死生観に関する質問紙を作成してもらい,それを用いてY看護学院の学生全員(n=296)を対象に調査を行った。作成された質問紙と調査結果は以下の事を示している。1)死生観の質問項目は,「自分の死」「家族・身近な人の死」「死の教育」「生について」「臨床実習と生と死」の5つの視点があった。2)調査を実施する際のインフォームド・コンセントでは,死生観と看護を関連づけて,調査の意図が説明されていた。3)調査した結果は次のとおりである。97.6%の学生が死について考えたことがあり,81.3%が身近な人との死別体験を持っていた。またこの体験や死についての学習は,生や死について考えるきっかけになったと答えていた。脳死は人の死であるかや,人工呼吸機での延命についての考えは,「よくわからない」という答えが多かったが,生命の誕生については94.2%が尊いものであるととらえている。今回紹介した質問項目の範囲においては,死の学習やターミナルステージにある患者との関わりなどの具体的な経験を尋ねる項目では学年や教育課程で相違が見られたが,その他の殆どの質問項目において学年や教育課程による特徴の差は見られなかった。

This report concentrates on three kinds of playing(0 and 2 -year-olds at a nurseryschool), and refer to the structures of infants world of playing. These different types of playing "Inai-inai-baa", "playing with many sheets and pieces of newspaper" …
