This paper discusses Hume’s Conceivability Principle, according towhich whatever we conceive is possible, at least in a metaphysical sense.Although this principle is not thoroughly argued by commentators,Hume relies on this principle in almost all significant arguments of hismetaphysics. The principle is involved in the crucial relationship betweenmind and reality of modern philosophy. Therefore, it is possible to find arelevant counterargument of this principle in metaphysics from Descartesto Berkeley. This paper focuses narrowly on the comparison betweenHume vis Descartes, and Hume vis Spinoza, and elucidates that Hume’sinnovation of this principle intends the transformation of the concept ofnecessity, and development of the concept of probability. This paper alsooffers a possible solution to a famous interpretative problem regarding therelationship between what is inconceivable and impossibility, and with it, thefundamental character of Hume’s empiricism and scepticism will be clarified.This paper thus aims to be a preliminary consideration for clarifying theintricate connection between the Conceivability Principle and Hume’s entiremetaphysics.

Some cases of comparative negligence in contract law have found fault by the injured party in breaching a duty contemplated by the agreement. Other cases, however, have gone beyond that. They have found the injured party at fault because of unreasonable actions, despite the absence of a clear agreement.In contractual duty cases, the rationale of comparative negligence is based on the expression of the agreement of both parties. However, that analysis falters in non-contractual duty cases. Why should an injured party be required to behave reasonably in the absence of a contractual obligation? The presence of an agreement or contract is not enough to explain all cases of comparative negligence.

Though drugstore pharmacists can also be known as primary health care pharmacists, it cannot yet be said that they completely fill this role. We believe that it is crucial for pharmacists to consult reliably with patients. To develop this ability, it is necessary to select a familiar and relevant theme by considering various factors that are worth discussing in their own right through conducting simple verification experiments. Caffeine is found in many foods and drinks, as well as in over the counter cold remedies and analgesics. Moreover, it has been widely used around the world to probe the effectiveness of drug-metabolizing enzyme activity of medications for liver disease. We have built a simple and easy experiment system to evaluate the pharmacokinetics of caffeine in saliva, and we examined the relationship between the drug-metabolizing enzyme CYP1A2 genetic polymorphism and various related constitutional hereditary factors.

不完全情報ゲームの 1 種であるトレーディングカードゲーム(TCG)は,デッキ(ゲームに使用するカードセット)を各プレイヤーが一定のルール化で自由に作成できるなど,囲碁や将棋,その他ボードゲームにはないゲーム要素が特徴である.したがって、強い,または人間らしいエージェントの作成等の研究は人間の意思決定過程の解明等に有意義であると考えられる.本稿では,『エージェントの個性に合わせたデッキを構築することが可能である』という仮説の実証のため,単純な TCG のプラットフォームをオリジナルに実装した.その上で遺伝的アルゴリズムによって個性のあるエージェント作成し,異なる個性のデッキを扱わせた際の挙動について観察した.さらに,そのエージ ェントの盤面評価をさらに良いものにするためにニューラルネットワークを用いたエージェントについても考察した.

法政大学と富士ゼロックスは,2012年から授業支援システムと紙を連携させることで教育効果を高め教員業務の削減を図るシステムの共創開発を行い,2013年に授業支援ボックスとして商品化した.また商品化後の機能追加や保守においても共創を継続し,現在に至っている.国内における共創開発は現在,様々な業種の企業でも取り組まれるようになってきた.本稿では,これから共創開発を行う企業や大学等への参考になると考え,6年にわたって実施した共創開発の経緯やシステム展開で発生した様々なプラクティスを示すとともに,共創開発の方法や効果について報告する.
